Morning sunlight has penetrated the sidelines of the curtains that try to block the light into a room. But still the light managed to find a blemish to enter and disturb a man who was sleeping comfortably in place.
Disturbed, the man finally began to open his eyes and pay attention to his surroundings, while fully accumulating his consciousness. But his gaze was currently directed towards a woman who was looking at him sharply.
“For Vero” said a smiling Zen greeting the woman who paid him to be her husband, while stretching her body.
But instead of retaliating, Vero was currently staring more and more at Zen with an increasingly intense gaze at him and was extremely annoyed by his behavior. Moreover, last night, Zen managed to make Vero who did not want to sleep in bed with him to sleep on a sofa.
“Did you not feel the slightest bit guilty for what you did last night to me?” ask Vero then who looks very upset.
“Bersalah? Who is guilty?” zen asked back the question that Vero asked him.
“Of course you're a jerk! Could you make me sleep on the couch last night!” he shouted because he could not resist his regret over Zen's treatment last night.
“Don't I tell you to sleep with me last night? Why are you scolding me now when you choose to sleep on the sofa.” Reply Zen who responded to Vero's words with a look of confusion.
Indeed their debate last night continued, which Zen insisted on not wanting to sleep on a sofa. Of course Vero continued to force him and finally he gave up and preferred to sleep on the sofa, rather than sleeping together with Zen one bed.
However, the decision taken by Vero was the wrong decision. Moreover, it is certain that he can not sleep other than sleeping on the bed, and make him awake all night because he feels uncomfortable to sleep on the sofa.
“Cih... basic jerk man.” Said Vero who started to rise from the sofa he used to sleep on, and went straight into the bathroom in the hotel room where he was with Zen staying.
A loud slamming sound from a door began to be heard as Vero closed the bathroom door he entered. Zen who had just realized it was certainly still confused why the woman was so angry, because she had not done anything wrong to the woman.
On the other hand, now Vero has washed his face on the sink in the bathroom where he is and immediately looks at a mirror in front of him. It could be seen at this moment there were dark circles under his eyes as he watched closely his face at the mirror reflection.
“Hahh... why can't I go against his words” Vero replied later.
Indeed Vero could not sleep comfortably last night, because he was not unusual to sleep on a sofa. But unable to resist Zen's words and actions, he ended up sleeping there.
Until finally a dark circle had appeared under his eyes, indicating that he was really very difficult to fall asleep all night. Moreover, he always felt annoyed when he saw Zen instead sleep comfortably on the bed that should be his bed.
“Alright, you must be strong Vero, because you must not lose to the man again” retorted Vero who was determined not to budge with Zen again, while using the towel he took to dry his face.
After doing everything he wanted to do in the bathroom, Vero finally came out of it. But after he came out, Vero did not find a Zen figure in his room and began to look for his whereabouts.
“Thank you” but while looking for his whereabouts, the sound of the door closing began to sound after Zen said thanks to someone.
Vero went straight to the origin of the sound he heard and found some dishes were neatly arranged on a table, after a room service had delivered some ordered dishes from Zen into their room.
“You've ordered breakfast?” ask Vero and get a nod from Zen.
“Sure, when you enter the bathroom, I immediately contacted the hotel to deliver breakfast here” reply Zen who immediately sat in place and prepared to eat his food.
But what Vero just found out, it turns out all the food bills he ordered at that time had to be paid by him, because Zen said he did not have money. Of course because Zen had saved her once, Vero happily paid for it.
But now the case is different, because Zen is the man Vero paid to be her husband. So Zen should not act as he pleases and tell him in advance what he will do.
“Quiet Vero... Calm” he said while holding back all the frustration he was feeling.
But not yet the emotions subsided entirely, the sound of the doorbell began to sound. With a sigh, Vero finally started to step up and find out who was visiting his room at the moment.
“Good morning newlyweds” Kelly said after Vero opened his room door.
“What do you want Kel?” ask Vero to his best friend, with a sharp tone.
“I just reminded you that we are going to Jakarta in three hours. So I made sure you were awake. Moreover, it looks you did not sleep all night” said Kelly while showing a meaningful smile to Vero after seeing the blackened eye bags Vero, and do not care about the tone used Vero reply to his words earlier.
“Cih... I did sleep less last night” replied Vero with annoyance at remembering the incident last night.
“Ho.. I wonder what you two did last night. Then where's your husband?” ask Kelly later.
Instead of answering, Vero opened the door to his hotel room wide and showed Zen eating his breakfast voraciously to Kelly who asked the figure of his paid husband.
“Are you not having breakfast Vero?” zen shouted then who found that Vero was not at the table where he was, and began to look towards where Vero was.
“Hahh.
Of course because invited, Kelly happily began to enter the newlyweds room. After sitting next to Vero who had been sitting in his place first, they began to eat their breakfast together.
Vero, feeling annoyed, began to eat his food slowly while watching the two people who had eaten with him eat their food voraciously.
“Today we will go to Jakarta Zen, because I have business there. So after this you get ready” Vero told Zen who still greedily ate his meal.
“H.. Alright” Zen replied, who actually did not know why they had to go to Jakarta today.
After mentioning that they were going to Jakarta, somehow Vero immediately began to moody. His best friend Kelly also knows why he is moody right now, because when they return, they will make a big decision to save Vero's company.
It is not easy indeed they take a very heavy decision, especially they have to do it to save the company from Vero so as not to bankruptcy. Even if what they're going to do is going to make Vero very sad.
“Why has the atmosphere changed at this time?” zen murmured then who looked at the two women before him, after feeling an aura of sadness that began to appear.
But what he found at this time is that Vero is showing a sad face and his best friend is trying to strengthen him. Zen certainly did not know what was happening, but chose not to mind them and continued to eat his food voraciously.
