Steven Starts Plan (1)

The butler, who was previously questioned by Madame Luff, went to her room. He said nothing and sent Hayler a message about Mrs Luff's arrival as well as what was asked.

After reporting everything, the butler took a break to start tomorrow.

Meanwhile in Hayler's current place ....

The man was not in the company, but rather in the Heart family home. Steven invited her to come and have a drink with the other friends.

But he knew this was all just an excuse. Actually, they were discussing about the next plan.

All of the friends Steven referred to himself were members of the organization's special investigation. They all disguised themselves as anything to outwit the enemy.

Hayler had just seen the message his butler had sent. Looking at the contents of the message, he frowned.

“What's up?” Steven was the first to realize something was wrong with the man's expression.

“My mom just met with Yuki. When he came home, he asked about the herbal medicine he had consumed.”

Steven didn't look surprised at all. He took a little sip of his wine. “Your ever-changing mother? Isn't your mom crazy? Does he recover and relapse occasionally?”

Steven didn't interfere much in Johnson Del's family matters. As long as it was unrelated to his own mission, he did not curb Hayler in family matters.

One of Steven's friends gets suspicious when one time, he tries to investigate the Johnson Del family.

"Isn't your mom a little weird? He doesn't seem crazy at all" he said.

Right now, Hayler took a sip of his wine slightly and sighed helplessly. "He had to pretend to be crazy so my father wouldn't divorce him."

Steven sneered. "Women do bring a lot of trouble."

Then, the topic turned to the main discussion about their mission.

One of Steven's men, a friend of mixed Middle Eastern descent, is re-examining the results of their investigation of a person.

"I've already found out about the whereabouts of the woman named Sonya, but haven't found her whereabouts at all. It was like he was vaporizing in the air. Though, the traces are still in the capital."

Hayler frowned. "Who is Sonya?"

The man explained. "He was one of Rodney's accomplices. At the moment, we don't know what ability he has. But based on some similar cases Rodney did before, Sonya must have the ability to imitate others."

"You mean undercover?" Steven asked.

"should." The Middle Eastern mixed-blooded man nodded. "But we're not sure about this. After all, it's hard to disguise yourself as someone else."

Because of this, a portion of the members led by Steven focused on finding Sonya.

"Is there a possibility if Lita finds out about this Sonya?" Hayler guessed.

"He should know." Steven has a plan. "Isn't Rodney impatient with Lita for not getting you to sign your family's equity papers? You can use this as well to extract information from him."

"It seems difficult without making it off guard." Hayler thought hard. Nor does he want to linger with this complicated problem. He wants to quickly get together with Yuki freely.

One of the members immediately took out a small bottle filled with clear liquid. He worked the glass bottle on her.

"Take this and put a little on the food or drink. After a while, the effect will be obvious."

"What's this?" Hayler. It's not poison that kills people, is it?

"It's a hallucinatory fluid. It is rare to use this in normal circumstances. But since Rodney was a fugitive of our group, of course his mission changed a lot."

"When do you need information?" Hayler nodded, meaning agreed to start.

"Actually the sooner the better. But there's no need to rush. Don't surprise the snake in the nest."

"All right." Hayler kept the small bottle and thought, what should he do again after coming home later.

Before long, his phone rang. This is a phone call from Yuki. He was a little happy with the phone call from the woman. But because there were Steven's people around, he refrained from smiling too clearly.

But Steven could clearly see if Hayler was happy to see who was calling him at the moment. He snorted and sipped his wine again.

Hayler answered the call after adjusting his breath.

"I'm right here. Is there a problem at home?" Hayler was worried that Yuki would call when something happened at home.

Not to mention Madame Luff met him just a moment ago. It's been quite the night and Yuki still seems to have not rested.

Next to the phone, Yuki told her what had just happened. About his meeting with Mrs Luff then shared her doubts.

Yuki knows Mrs Luff well and has interacted with her in the past. He never forgot how the woman always looked at him like an enemy.

Maybe because his mother used to have a little relationship with Mr. Johnson Del.

But ... It feels weird that Madame Luff would do much to her.

After so many years of not seeing each other, Madam Luff had never even been so different when she first sent her herbal medicine that year.

Hearing the story, Hayler was a little surprised. He thought of another possibility ....
