Chapter 19 Fast Recovering Rena

Arriving at the hospital.

With a variety of persuasions and advice from his mother Rena, now Rena can smile even though not like before.

"Thank you, Vi for your help too mami papi. If there is no you don't know if I want to be the same mother" said Rena who still shed tears let alone the wound has not healed. Only occasionally was that smile still forced.

"Ishh this you. We're also sorry if it wasn't us who invited you to attend this event, it wouldn't have happened. Forgive us, Ren. Believe me they will get the right reply" Elus Vio in the hands of his little friend.

"Assalamu'alaikum!" greet Haris when entering Rena's ward.

"Wa'alaikumsalam" answered Vio, Rena and Rena's mother in unison.

"Everything is done Rena can go home now" said Haris looking at Rena with a cheerful smile. Vio knows that Haris did that to keep Rena from dissolving in her wound. All night, Haris hasn't rested. It looks in both eyes that look like panda eyes.

Then they rushed to help clean up the existing items to take home and some were discarded because it was garbage.

Rena's return was delivered by Vio and Haris. Bi Ani was home when they got out of the hospital by the Atmadja family car.

Arriving at Rena's house, and cleaning herself, it looks like the old Rena did not come out of the bathroom. This makes Vio and Haris question marks. They looked at me full of question marks.

Then they rushed towards Vio's bathroom and knocked on his bathroom.

"Rin! Why so long? You're done yet? I peed kebelet?" vio shouted to divert his worried thinking Rena was still sensitive.

There is no truth from within. Now replace Haris. "Ren, are you okay? Please answer, Ren!"

Haris's shout gets Vio's shot but Haris only glances at Vio and ignores him.

"Rin! Open the door, Ren!" yell Haris again.

Chequek. The sound of the bathroom door opened Rena.

"I'm doing fine. Don'worry. I'm not going to do anything stupid" while running between Haris and Vio who is still glued to Rena's words.

"It's not hot" Vio's hand held Rena's forehead.

"What the hell!" vio's hands flicked.

"You're better?" Vio reassured to Rena. Haris just stared at the interaction of the two friends with the position still standing in the original place.

"Vi.." the hanging word made Vio palpitate because the sour look on Rena's face looked so pitiful.

"Yes, Ren. What's up?" Vio sat down to approach Rena.

"Vi, you're not gonna hate me, are you? You wouldn't be disgusted at me, would you?" isak Rena makes the quiet atmosphere of Rena's room.

"I'll never be like that. You are the best for me. To me you are still the same little Rena that used to be. I love you so much. Don't doubt that. Ok?!" still stroking Rena's head.

"Thank you, Vi. I was so lucky to have a friend even like my own brother. Whatever it is you are the best for me, Vi" then took off Vio's embrace and wiped his own tears. Then saw Haris who was still standing in front of the bathroom.

"Haris.do you not want to come near me anymore?" rena's tone seemed pleading.

Harispun approached and sat on the bedside near Rena. "I'll even get closer to you and never leave you. Whatever happens to you, I will never hate you and leave you. I'll prove it, baby" hugged Rena affectionately.

Vio who saw this also reminded the two. "Hellooo.still I'm here don't make me a mosquito repellent huh. I'm here as a cheerleader not a mosquito repellent" sewot Vio then paired with Rena and Haris.

Rena's smile is everything to Vio. Because Rena means so much to Vio.

"Well we go down and help mom prepare the food. Looks like mom's preparing us for lunch. Come on" invite Vio to divert Rena's grief.

Then the three of them went down to the dining room and helped Rena's mother. A warm lunch. Rena feels lucky to have people who love her very sincerely for who she is. Even her lover did not feel disgusted with her it made her grateful.

It was at the hospital talking Rena and Haris. Flashback.

"Please leave me" Rena said suddenly after they were both abandoned by her mother and Vio.

"Why? What are you talking about?" ask Haris who actually already knows what it means.

"Sure you know what I mean, don't you?!" ask Rena.

"If it was because of your current condition if it was because of the incident that happened to you last night, then sorry I would never leave you. You and Mom are all I have. You are the very people I love that I consider my own family. Don't say it like that anymore. Whatever your condition, I will still accept you" Haris hugs but Rena rebelled but her weak power was unable to fight Haris and sobbed in Haris' arms. A warm embrace and a comfortable place for Rena.

"But I'm dirty. How...what if I...if I get pregnant with that depraved boy?" rena's crying is getting more and more. Haris could only stroke her back and say "Nothing is dirty because it's not your fault. You are still my old Renaku. Just be the old Rena. Don't change just because of what happened. I will always be by your side with you both hard and happy. If you don't believe we can get married now. I'm going to KUA today. And you will be my wife. I can take care of you at all times".

"What's? Married now? Did ya? Are you not sorry?" asked Rena looked up her head to look at her lover looking at the look of her eyes that were really serious.

"No. Wait for next month. I don't want to hurt you. I don't know what's coming. I'm afraid I'm pregnant with that depraved boy. I was scared and you ended up leaving me" with a miserable look. For anyone it would know how the look of Rena face after the incident. Probably trauma.

"Trust me. I'm gonna marry you. Even if you're pregnant with someone else's child, but I'll still marry you and love you. My love will never change, Ren" convinced Haris to Rena.

"really?" ask doubt Rena then drowned her face in the field Haris. Haris was a good man who was so obedient with his stance. He's a gentle man. Match with Rena who both have a gentle attitude. But do not be asked on the side of his gentleness it turns out he is a firm and charismatic figure even though only as a teacher. But the job was enough to make Haris comfortable.

That's what powers Rena now. Love makes us strong. Trust each other and be honest. That power will always spring.

A short but memorable lunch for Rena. Along with the laughter, Vio was all excited. Vio was free to tell about the criminals flanked by Haris and himself. Thankful that those criminals are now getting the rewards they deserve. Imprisoned for life under the supervision of the Atmadja family.
