The two walked slowly down the two-meter-wide hallway. Sulis walked in front by pushing an iron troly filled with dishes filled with rice and side dishes. While Ratna walked behind, slowly trailing her friend.
After passing through several tightly closed rooms. Now the two young women arrived at the first cell. The room is not too wide to be occupied by dozens of people. Sulis stopped, and began to put the dishes that had been prepared. From the bottom of the iron trellis, the teenagers took their rations. The woman smiled with satisfaction as the teenagers confined inside the cell smiled and started eating their food.
"Hey you...! This is your ration !" Sulis cried as he watched a teenager sit with his knees hugged on his chest. His chin was propped up on his knees while his eyes darted sharply towards Sulis. But the young lady just smiled.
"Why is that kid ?" Ratna asked who looked confused. His face looked at the boy and his friend in turn. Since the arrival of the two, the teenage boy had only been pecking. Unheeded his friends who scatter reach for the menu provided and greedily eat their rations.
"Maybe he's sick" replied Sulis guessing. He turned his eyes back to the boy. While crouching he grabbed the plate that was still intact and showed it to the boy. Slowly the teenager moved closer, but without expression.
"Heart - the heart of sulis !" Ratna cried out to his friend who now smiled happily because his efforts were welcomed by the boy.
"Come here. Take your food to keep you healthy" Sulis tried to be friendly. But the boy thought it another. With a hunting breath and a sharp eye full of vengeance. The teenager approached and prepared to receive a plate from Sulis. But beyond a doubt. The teenager pulled the young woman's hand so tightly that the plate she was holding fell off. But the boy was flinching. Unheard of the screams of pain of the woman in front of him. The woman who might be the same age as her brother grimaced with the pain in her hands.
"Aaaaauuu.. release...!!"
Sulis continued to scream in pain because the teenager did not also release his grip from under the iron trellis. Highlight his eyes piercing sharp. A creepy grin was created on her tiny face.
"Hey, what are you doing ?!" Hardik Ratna's. The hand of his friend, with the intention of helping to escape the pull of the boy. Meanwhile, Sulis was getting panicked. Cold sweat poured out profusely and his deathly pale face endured the fear.
BRAAKK...
A lump in the iron trellis that was hard enough to make those in the place shocked . Spontaneously the boy released the pull of his hand from the hand of Sulis who began to cry in fear. The boy inched backwards as he watched the figure that had just come and violently pounded the iron trellis.
"Pull the kid out !" Jhoni's orders with a very angry look.
"Every boss... !" Answer the two men who came with him. Meanwhile, Sulis was placated by Ratna. A moment later the boy thrashed while being pulled by two large-bodied men. The rest of the cell dwellers could only be subdued in fear. Some of them even covered their faces. I don't want to see my friend treated in such a way.
"What have you done, huh...?!" Jhoni asked with anger that could not be closed - cover it up again. The boy only fell silent, but the look in his eyes implied resistance. His thin body was flanked by two bodyguards who were ready to do anything.
"Your hand is hurt, Sulis ?" Jhoni asked as his eyes found the woman grimacing in pain from the grip of the boy.
"It's okay, boss. Just a little scuff and sprained" replied sulis flat. His face was seen by Shok after experiencing the frightening incident earlier. Next to her, Ratna pinched - a gentle incision on her friend's wrist.
"I told you, don't get too close to them" Jhoni said again with a facial expression that worried Sulis who could only look down.
"Take him into the space of escapism !" Seru Jhoni loudly. His index finger pointed at the boy who continued to wriggle and fumble. Both of his eyes bulged as if he wanted to get out.
Responded by both of his men swiftly. The two flanked the helpless boy as they walked towards the execution room. A few meters ahead, Jhoni was already walking away.
"Let's go back to Sulis' kitchen."
Bring Ratna. The two prepared to return to the kitchen, having previously collected the scattered dishes. The two women walked back to the kitchen. There was the sound of a heart-wrenching groan from the execution room. The teenagers in the cell covered their ears because they could not hear the last voice of their friends.
I can't imagine what's on their minds. When teenagers count down their age. No one can tell when they can breathe.
#####
That night Typhoon and Arif were back to planning something. Under the dim moonlight, the two sat - sitting casually in front of the cave that was used as a dwelling by them.
"How about tonight we investigate the building, Rif ?" Tanya Typhoon opened the conversation. His hands turned back the ripe cashew fruit. Soon after, a bite mark mold was created on the remaining half of the fruit.
"alright. I was also curious about the foul smell and the smell of rancid when we ran away from the box car" replied Arif slowly. In front of him were a few cashews they got this afternoon.
"Rif Betul. I'm sure our abduction has something to do with that building."
"I think so, Pan."
"We'd better get this flashlight. I found it around the marijuana fields yesterday" Typhoon said. Now in his hand is tucked a small flashlight that can be inserted into the bag of pants. Arif just nodded.
"You also have a dagger, Rif. Take care" said Typhoon again. In front of them were now scattered some things that they thought they needed. Two daggers were taken from Bowo's men while on the riverbank. Then the flashlight scattered around the marijuana field. And that never missed are two chopsticks from bamboo stems along with dozens of sharp thorns along twenty inches. The latter is a deadly poison potion from a mixture of foliage and tree sap that contains toxins.
After it was felt that it was enough night, the two teenagers walked through the dense wilderness. Accompanied by birdsong that sounds simple - sahutan. They ignored the cold that was absorbing the skin. How not, the only clothes they wear are the same clothes when they are kidnapped. A t-shirt and shabby trousers, that's their body cover.
"Aren't you cold, Pan ?" Asked Arif while putting both his hands on his chest. Every now and then both of his palms are rubbed against each other.
"Yes cold, Rif" Typhoon replied. Both of his hands followed what Arif was doing. From a height, where they are now walking. The upper part of the building is covered by the darkness of the night. Every now and then dozens of flying crows spin around it.
"It's soon, Rif" said the Typhoon broke the silence. The buildings they were heading towards were about five hundred meters away.
"Rest first, Pan."
"okay !"
Both of them stopped for a moment among the dense towering trees. The wind that blows hard creates a sinister harmony of natural rhythm. When the trunk of the tree collides with each other causing a friction sound.
"How do we get past the guard in that tower?" Arif asked as his two neutrals caught the movement of the firelight from the top of a tower.
"It's important not to be highlighted by the firelight, Rif" replied the spontaneous Typhoon. His face glimpsed his anxious-looking friend.
"Yes Pan."
"Are you scared ?"
"No. Only we need to tackle all the stubs."
"You're right, Rif" Typhoon said with a smile. He was happy to find that his friend was able to master his fear. Shortly after, they continued their journey. Sneaking from one tree trunk to another. Banging grass reeds - reeds as high as their bodies. Not infrequently thorny plants managed to tear the thin skin of both.
But everything is not felt by them. What is on the minds of the two is to find answers to the puzzles that still haunt them.
