"is something that caught your attention there?"emma raised her one eyebrow staring at ezra who kept looking at something out of the balcony ,

"not just seeing the view there,"

"does anything catch your attention?you want a way out?"emma reassured me, said,

"no, I have to pack things to go to Mexico later,"

"you're leaving tomorrow?"

"no, maybe in a week or a month, you wanna come?"

"no I'm more comfortable with my life in America" she continued watching her favorite tivi show while ezra looked back at the skyscraper outside her balcony,

he and emma can be said to be very lucky to get an apartment with an incredible view of the scenery, he said,

"where are you going?"tanya ezra saw emma who had not changed her clothes since when and now was wearing sneakers with the chessboard pattern of her best friend's pride, it was,

"i want to go to the supermarket up ahead, you want to go to the ez?"

"no, I'm lazy to go out"

"are you sure?"

"what are you buying?"ask ezra curiously,

"that's"tap emma on a garbage can full of plastic snack garbage packets,

"yes there it is,"emma grinned while scratching her head which was not at all itchy, she said,

after five minutes the ezra came out with a black oversized sweater paired with gray knee-length pants, and he wore black sneakers with silver gliters on the edges of his sneakers,

"you're gonna drive?"ask emma, please,

"you're crazy, you know my driving license is held by my parents,"

"but when you left for work you used a car,"

"that's an exception,"

ezra stared at emma flatly, they were in the elevator and soon in the basement,

"my mom just finished watching the Indian drama streaming before my departure to the usa, and there's a scene where a young man gets shot and falls off his bike after it crashes into a roadblock and-"

"drowning" cut emma, she pressed her car keys and looked around, looking,

"i parked the car too far"

"but ez what does the man in the film have to do and you're the one who's just a dash of dust" emma continued, still curious about ezra's story,

roll his eyeballs, though,

"well my mother said let your friends who sacrificed themselves die for you instead of you dying for them"

"it doesn't make any sense at all, and it's very selfish of you know,"

"yes and now my mother's words are fulfilled"

"what?you sacrificed me to die for you?"

"you're kidding me I wouldn't make such a stupid sacrifice" continued emma cynically, the woman turned on her car engine and started exiting the parking area,

it was not until ten minutes that the two women reached their destination,

"near this?"

"yes, where do you want to buy the snack?you want to go to the mall?"

"but wouldn't it be more frugal to walk?"

"c'mon ez I'm lazy meloundry my shoes,"

"just because that?"

"then how else do you want?you want to pay for my loundry shoes?"

"no I have to skimp for a better future"

"you reasoned, you're stingy I know that,"

"yes, whatever."
