Husband?
"But I'm not your wife."
I saw the man holding my hand frowning deeply. I hope he believes what I say.
"Darling, what are you talking about? I know you so well that I couldn't have mistaken you for my wife."
I frowned deeply, "if you really know your wife well, try to look at me closely. Does your heart still say the same thing?"
I stick my face towards her, staring right at her black eyeballs. I wish he realized that I am not his wife. I don't want to be guessed at this problem, let alone concerning a household that is certainly landed with love.
Without guessing the man approached and put his lips right beside me. My mouth was wide open, shocked of course. Why did the man kiss my forehead? I looked at her with a gaze that meant 'I'm not your wife, so please get out of here.' but why did she kiss me instead?!
My gaze circulated throughout this one room that was being filled by several people. They were staring at me, right at us and from my point of view they looked very happy watching the moment just now.
I immediately pushed away the man, "i-this is not true. You better get out of here, I want to be alone!!" my screams. Right now I don't want to be disturbed, I don't recognize everyone here.
"But, baby-"
"Go! I said go?!" I snapped once more, not wanting to listen to the protests from everyone.
One by one the men left with faces that implied sadness. I don't care, this is all so confusing. One accident that I don't remember how the chronology was, now leaves me stuck in this face. The face of a woman I never even knew.
I was stuck in bed with a situation that was still as limp as I had no energy, but that was what I was experiencing. After my coma my body became weak powerless, to lift a spoon just like lifting a barbell that can knock out my bones. Yesterday when I was screaming for everyone to come out, I could do it because I've been drinking a lot of water, otherwise let's not scream to talk just as hard as people would be dying.
Back in my memory recalling the words of doctor Ikhsan who had just examined me an hour ago.

Flashback ON
"Well, when do I get out of this hospital?"
Doctor Ikhsan who was having my pulse stopped, then smiled. "You can get out of this hospital as soon as possible, after you have undergone recovery therapy to restore the muscles you have stiffened during a coma."
"Yes, just do it now!" I cried excitedly, a beautiful arch rising on my lips.
"But to undergo therapy, you can not stress. Because if you stress it can cause your body muscles to become tense and can cause a fatal thing later."
Doctor Ikhsan's explanation made my smile disappear, but a second later I got excited again. Perhaps during this period of recovery I should pretend to be Aluna - the woman who was the original owner of the face that is now my face - too. After I recover and get out of this hospital, then I will disappear and try to find the person who has changed my face into someone else's face.
"When can I start that recovery therapy, Doc?"
"Maybe in a few days, you still need a lot of rest."
"Oh so. Later when I was allowed to therapy, as much as possible I will reduce the burden of the mind that is currently weighing on my brain. So that I can do it as soon as possible."
"Well, so much better!" exclaimed Doctor Ikhsan with pleasure.

The sound of that knocking made my daydream crumble. Soon a grandmother was seen entering with a basket of fruits in her hand.
The grandmother wore kebaya clothes and a long strip with hair that was carried high with konde made of gold. Behind him I saw the perverted man holding the grandmother's shoulder with one hand carrying a handbag that I guess belonged to the grandmother.
The grandmother approached me, "Ndok, have you ndak kenopo-nopo, to?" ask the grandmother with a thick yogja accent.
I just shook my head. Not knowing what to say, this grandmother looks very fond of her grand daughter-in-law. Why can I guess that, because I see this grandmother is similar to the woman's husband - the owner of the face that is now my face - too.
"It's grandma bring you fruits let the chips heal." The grandmother placed the fruits on the nightstand next to the hospital bed I was occupying.
When the grandmother wanted to sit down, the man named Aldebaran quickly pulled a chair for his grandmother. She also helped the grandmother to sit down and made sure she was sitting comfortably in her seat.
He seems like a good man, then why can't he recognize his own wife? If they are a couple who love each other, surely he can easily recognize his own wife even with a different face. But why can't this man tell the difference between me and his real wife?
The grandmother seemed to want to peel me an apple, but had not yet reached for the knife the man first grabbed it and took it from the grandmother's hand.
"Let Aldebaran just peel the apple for Andin, grandma sit down. Must be Grandma's trip from yogja here?"
"Yes, but-"
"Aldebaran doesn't want grandma to get sick, so please follow Aldebaran's request, Grandma?"
"All right, granddaughter. Grandma's gonna fuck."
The man peels the apple painstakingly, occasionally in interspersed with a conversation with his grandmother. It was the radiance of the man's eyes that exuded a deep and sincere affection for his grandmother.
Maybe I can make him one of my dream men if I get married, but that doesn't mean I like him of course not. Especially after yesterday's incident which shocked me when he kissed my forehead without excuse. After all, she also belonged to that woman named Andin, so I couldn't possibly love her because I was still ashamed and had the pride to be a snatching woman.
"Yes…!" suddenly a fork at the end of which was a piece of apple was thrust at me.
I developed a faint smile looking at the grandmother, then accepted the bribe. The gentle glimmer of sincerity from my grandmother's eyes made me unbearable to tell her the truth that I was not her real daughter-in-law's granddaughter. Sometimes lying is better than telling the truth which can be a big risk and also endanger the lives of others.
"Looking at you like this, grandma can't wait to hear the good news from you."
"What news, Grandma?" ask the man.
"Squeaks."
Uhukk….
I coughed really hard. Huh, great-grandchild?!
