Meanwhile, Karin walks alone towards the house inhabited by herself and her best friend. Namely, Jean.
On the way home, Karin is pensive and remembers what she did last night.
"What have you done, Karin?" Ask yourself.
"You're so stupid, and so disgusting! You've kept your honor for the rest of your life, just to give it to a stranger you don't even know. In fact, the man who was never your lover! You idiot!" He muttered, hitting his own head.
After spending some time on the way, Karin arrived in front of the house.
Just then, Jean sat on the porch of the house with an anxious expression. When he saw Karin in front of the house, he immediately ran towards Karin and hugged her while crying.
"Stupid! where were you last night? I'm looking for you, all over the room at the club! I've also called the police, looking for you!" Jean hugged Karin tightly, Karin wept, in Jean's arms.
"I've called your phone so many times, I'm so worried about you, you idiot!"
"I'm sorry, Jean. My phone's running out of battery. Thus, I cannot tell you either." Sahut Karin, crying in Jean's arms.
"I was so relieved when I saw you were okay. Let's go inside, tell me what happened to you last night. Until suddenly, you just disappeared." Jean said, letting go of her arms and holding onto Karin's shoulders.
Then, he took Karin into their room.
Karin and Jean sat on their bedroom bed, Karin lowered her head in tears.
Looking at Karin's expression, which was like that made her feel, if something was wrong with Karin. Without further ado, he asked Karin a question.
"Today, what happened to you?" He asked, holding onto Karin's shoulders.
They sat on the edge of the bed, facing each other. However, Karin kept her head down because she felt ashamed to show her face to Jean.
Slowly Jean raised Karin's chin, using her right palm. Karin looked at her face, with an expression that looked extremely depressed and heartbreaking.
Looking at Karin's facial expression like that. Suddenly, Jean hugged her very tightly.
"Whatever it is. Just tell me, Karin." Jean said, as she hugged him.
Karin's cry broke even more, in Jean's arms. He immediately returned Jean's embrace, very tightly.
Slowly Karin told me about what happened to her last night.
"I saw Morgan last night at the club with another woman, and I even saw her doing some crazy things with that woman in a club room on the board of a Hot Party. I saw him making out, with that woman! It hurts so much, Jean." His word. As he begins to tell her about what he saw from his girlfriend, Morgan.
Jean is surprised to hear Karin's story, and hugs Karin even more tightly. He also felt pain in Karin's heart.
"Not only that, Jean. Morgan also insulted me and said bad things."
"She said I was ugly, a whore, and couldn't give her the satisfaction of the woman she was with last night. I was so humiliated, by him." Karin continued her story.
"I've guessed, if Morgan was a jerk! He should have died, and been swallowed up by the earth." Said Jean emotionally, until he grumbled about Morgan.
"Jean, thank you for making me aware of Morgan. Sorry, because I didn't trust you before." Karin said, slowly letting go of her arms so she could speak before Jean's face.
His expression looked very sad and depressed, Jean felt unbearable to see Karin's heartbreaking expression.
"I don't want you to waste any more of your time, just for a jerk like Morgan, Karin." He said, hugging Karin again.
But at the same time, Jean suddenly remembered the moment Karin disappeared last night. He let go of his embrace, with both hands holding onto Karin's shoulders to stare at Karin's face.
Then, he immediately asked Karin a few questions.
"Wait a minute, last night you fought Morgan alone. Did he hurt you, Karin? Then, last night you went anywhere and why didn't you go home?" He asked, with raised eyebrows.
"I wasn't alone at the time. Then I also got to know people wrong. I thought I was back with you." Karin said, with trembling hands.
"Then, I pulled the hand of a stranger I thought was you to go back to Morgan and slap him. After, I managed to slap Morgan. Suddenly, Morgan was about to slap me back."
"However, the stranger protected me. He was also the one protecting me, as I would be harassed by some of the men inside the club after finishing a fight with Morgan." Said Karin, telling the incident that he experienced.
"Is she a woman, or a man?" Jean asked, with a curious expression.
"D-He, a man." Answer Karin, stammering.
"Have you been with him all night? Did he hurt you?" Jean asked again.
Karin lowered her head, with an expression that looked extremely moody.
"You hurt him? What do you mean, Karin?" Ask Jean again, to her friend.
"Jean, I'm such a fool. I was carried away with hatred last night, and drank a lot of alcohol. He had no intention of harassing me at all, he took me to the apartment so I could rest."
"Maybe he can't take me home, because he doesn't know where I live."
"At that time, I forced him to do just that. I forced him, Jean! How foolish I am to give my virginity to a stranger. I was carried away with hatred for the humiliation of Morgan!" Said Karin, while covering her face with both palms. Karin was crying, and felt very sorry.
Hearing Karin's confession, Jean is taken aback. Jean hugged Karin tightly, and went back to crying with Karin.
"Today, it's not entirely your fault."
"I'm also guilty of leaving you alone. I wasn't there when Morgan insulted you, last night I couldn't find you either. Plus, it's the insults from a man like Morgan who's been insulting you that's been pushing you until you lose your clear mind."
"I'm sorry, Karin. I'm sorry I couldn't be a good friend, who could protect you back then." Jean said, crying because she felt guilty for Karin.
"I've lost everything, Jean."
"The West has fallen down the stairs, and the stairs are added."
"I'm disgusted with myself right now, I don't deserve any man right now, it's my fault completely." Said Karin, hitting her head.
Seeing that, Jean let go of his embrace. She held onto Karin's shoulders, and looked at Karin's face. However, Karin kept hitting her own head repeatedly.
"What are you doing, Karin?"
Jean tried to calm Karin down, clasping her wrists tightly. He tried to stop Karin's hand, which hit her own head.
Jean hugged Karin tightly and said, "It's okay, Karin. Everyone, it's gonna be fine."
"I'm also guilty of what happened to you. I'm sorry, Karin. I can't take care of you, either."
Karin just kept crying, regretting her stupidity.
After a while, Jean slowly let go of her embrace. He held onto Karin's shoulders and raised both hands, to form Karin's cheeks. He wiped away the tears that fell on Karin's cheek, using his thumb.
"Now it's better to take a bath, your whole body smells of alcohol."
"I'll make breakfast for you."
"Pacify yourself, Karin. Everything, will be fine" Jean said.
Then, he rushed Karin to the bathroom.
After Karin goes into the bathroom, Karin cries again. Then, he opened the air shower and stood under the shower, so that the air shower flowed all over his body and wet his entire body.
Then, Karin slowly leaned her legs under the shower. She cried so hard, hugging both knees. He felt how disgusting he was right now.
The sound of crying was so loud that outside the bathroom door. Jean, who heard her crying from outside the bathroom door, felt the pain she was experiencing.
Jean sat on the floor, leaning her back against the wall next to the bathroom. He cried hysterically, smothering his mouth so that Karin would not know.
Jean also crossed her own face, feeling that she was useless as a friend and sister to Karin. He also felt, if what Karin had experienced was his fault for not trying hard to keep Karin last night. He was devastated, when he heard the sound of the cries of suffering Karin from the bathroom.
Jean felt unable to keep his promise to the late Karin's parents, whom Karin's parents had told her before her death.
"Jean, Karin will live alone. You're all Karin has, we've got Karin for you. Can you think of him as your real sister? He's a little careless and stupid, please guide him and just get angry if he's naughty. Angry at him like you're scolding your own sister" Karin's parents said before she died, 12 years ago.
"Don't worry about it, I promise I'll take care of it and protect it. Like, my own sister. I won't let anything bad happen to Karin." The promise he made to Karin's parents at the time.
Jean and Karin have been best friends since they were 5 years old. Their parents are close friends, and become colleagues in the business world. They were both single children and both their parents had both died, with a distance of time.
From then on, they promised to look after each other like a brother and sister.
That's what makes Jean feel so guilty and stupid, because, let Karin feel this pain.
From outside the bathroom, Jean cries and continues to hit her face and head regretting her current negligence. Because this was his first time, he committed a very fatal omission to Karin.
From inside the bathroom, Karin also continued to cry under the shower. Until, for hours.
