After they finished eating they stopped at the Salman Mosque to pray Dzuhur.

Salman Mosque ITB is a House of Worship with a Myriad History and Uniqueness.Every incidentally the campus has a mosque of greatness each, not least ITB. Salman Mosque is the pride mosque of ITB Muslims. Located directly opposite the ITB campus, Salman Mosque became a place of worship, as well as learning to discuss among students and ITB lecturers. The atmosphere and calm atmosphere that is presented makes the Salman mosque always visited, both by ITB students themselves and outside visitors, whether it is the people of Bandung or outside Bandung. The distinctive architectural design of the Salman ITB Mosque makes this mosque as one of the identical icons of the ITB campus.

This mosque has a history.

Alexa read the history of this mosque held in the Mosque.

In 1960 before the Salman ITB Mosque was built, ITB students carried out congregational activities such as Friday prayers at the West Hall building of ITB. Then in 1964, Kasab General AH Nasution visited ITB to fill a lecture. The night before AH Nasution gave a lecture, ITB students read out a pledge to build a mosque in ITB. The idea of building a mosque has the support of various parties. The origin of the name Salman itself comes from the president of the Republic of Indonesia as well as ITB alumni, namely President Soekarno. Finally in May 1972, for the first time the Salman ITB Mosque was used to conduct congregational Friday prayers.

In the process of its construction, was born also an organization that is closely related to the Salman ITB mosque. These organizations are not only as a forum for stewardship, but also a forum for discussion, a forum for da'wah and so on. Over the years, it is proven that Salman Mosque has given birth to many ITB alumni who are now influential figures in Indonesia such as Aburizal Bakrie, Hatta Radjasa, and so on.

This Salman mosque really has a unique design and philosophical meaning behind it.

The most striking thing that distinguishes the Salman ITB mosque with the mosque in general the roof of the Salman mosque is not dome-shaped. Salman ITB Roof Mosque is made of concrete and concave shaped like a cup. The philosophical meaning behind the roof design of this mosque is as a depiction of someone who is praying with his hands up. Visitors to the Salman ITB mosque will also realize that there are many patterns of lines that adorn the Salman ITB mosque both on the wall and the support pole. Vertical lines represent the relationship between man and God, while horizontal lines are defined as the relationship between man and his neighbor.

Outside the main building of the Salman mosque there is a towering tower. The building of the Salman tower is designed in conjunction with the design of the main building and uses the same concrete base material. However, the design of the Salman tower uses a minimalist concept without ornaments and simple shapes but still holds firm. This design has a symbolic meaning that every human being, especially Muslims, must always be firm in their stance and faith in God while remaining humble in all its simplicity.

The last corner of the mosque but no less beautiful is the interior of the Salman Mosque. The design of the main worship room of the Salman mosque both walls, floors, and ceilings combine traditional and modern architecture because most are made of teak wood. The dim lighting of the mosque also brings a shahdu feel to everyone who is worshiping in it so that it adds inner closeness in communication to God. The interior design of the mosque is designed in such a way as to reduce the intensity of incoming sunlight so that without fans or air conditioning, air when inside the Salman Mosque remains cool.

The unique design of the Salman Mosque ITB is not only limited to its aesthetic meaning, but these designs also have a deeper philosophical meaning, creating an inner spatial arrangement when communicating with the Creator. The colorful routine of the mosque makes Salman Mosque not only a limited place, but also a place for students or outside visitors to learn more about religion in a creative and not monotonous way. No wonder if it is old, the charm of Salman ITB mosque is increasing as if never timeless.

It is very convenient to be and pray in this mosque. The aura of religious and worship is very felt around this Salman Mosque. Many students study and discuss around the mosque area.

Alexa threw her gaze all over the mosque suddenly her breath seemed to stop. His heart beat very fast as he watched from afar Aditya was talking while walking out of the mosque area with a woman. Alexa's face looks sad and disappointed.

Reza who saw the change in Alexa's face immediately followed the direction of her gaze. He only saw the backs of a pair of teenagers walking away from the mosque's courtyard area.

"Who did you see San?" ask Reza curiously.

"Why is your face like that?" Ask Reza.

"Well, what is my face like?" Alexa nodded and asked back.

"You look sad and disappointed" Reza replied.

"No kog why also I was disappointed let alone sad" Alexa tried to neutralize his face.

"You don't lie to me San, I've known you for a long time and I know every meaning of your face. You are sad right now, right? There's something you're hiding from me about Adit's sister" They're sitting on a bench in the courtyard of the mosque.

"Honest to me San and to your heart. You like Adit, right?" Reza stared at Alexa's face and Alexa bowed silently.

"I've been wanting to ask you for a long time. Back when you were at the math olympics I saw you guys familiar. Go and go home to school together. But after the Olympics, you called me to pick you up and drive you home from school. I also see there's a weirdness in your attitude every time you meet. Adit's like keeping your distance every time you meet you and you look sad even though you try to hide it and hide it but I can see the sadness from your face" Reza told Alexa demanding Alexa's recognition.

"Sister Adit always avoids me every time I meet Za, he always says if he meets me he always gets bad luck. It's as if I'm a pesky carrier every time I meet him" Alexa replied while remaining down.

"Why are you sad, do you really like Brother Adit?" reza asked, getting curious.

Alexa took a deep breath trying to bring out what was in her heart that she had been alone for so long and it felt like she had long stored it in her heart.

So far no one knew even Reza, her closest friend, she never told him. Alexa kept this feeling and buried it deep in her heart.

My first and unrequited love...
