Boy Braves Himself To Be Healed

The duration of therapy for horses can vary depending on the goals, individual needs, and response to therapy. Horse therapy is usually done on an ongoing basis for several weeks or even months.

Even some people with special conditions may require longer sessions and long-term therapy, which is longer than others.

Horse therapy is often done in sessions lasting about 30 to 60 minutes, and the frequency may range from a few times a week to one or two times a month, depending on the individual situation.

For today's visit is an experiment first. Experiments on whether Boy can do horse therapy, see how Boy's condition, and see how the effects of horse therapy on trauma experienced.

...----------------...

"Mom Diah. Boy likes what animals?" aksa asked a middle-aged woman who had a worried look on her face.

He was in the break room with the others. The woman Aksa was questioning was Boy's mother. He needs to ask what things Boy likes and dislikes.

The reason for that was so that he could speak fluently with Boy. This can make your communication better. There is also a possibility that Boy could open his heart.

"Um, Boy likes ferocious animals. Like tigers, lions, wolves, even dinosaurs, haha. The reason being, she wanted to be brave like them," Diah replied while reminiscing about the past.

After a pause, he continued, "Animals that he hates are something slithering. The reason is, my ex-husband keeps snakes."

Aksa could hear that Diah's voice had turned flat when she mentioned her ex-husband. Well that's natural, because her ex-husband did violence to her son.

"All right," nodded Aksa. He also asked others like his stepfather, his uncle, his aunt, and others.

Aksa asked them a simple question. Like Boy's favorite food, his hobbies, whether he smiles often, and so forth.

When viewed normally, Aksa's questions are not quality because they ask random things. But this concerns PTSD patients, so all the possibilities can happen here.

"He's out" said Sarah, touching Aksa's hand.

Aksa looked up and saw that Boy was wearing protective equipment. But he could see that Boy's face was quite pale and his eyes were also slightly empty.

"His face was very pale" said Sarah who felt sorry for Boy.

"He's like he doesn't have the energy of life" Aksa said. He takes a step forward, but some people around him worry about whether Boy can accept Aksa or not.

Aksa stopped in front of Boy, then he crouched down. Boy was immediately frightened when he saw there was an adult man in front of him. As Boy was about to run to hide, he heard Aksa's voice.

"Do you want to get up?" aksa said in a calm tone that made Boy not run.

Boy turned his head towards Aksa, but did not dare to look him in the eye. Aksa smiled as Boy was interested in her words just now.

"You can understand my words. It means you have a desire to heal. Tell me, what's your reason for healing?" Aksa said in a calm tone like water.

Even Diah tried to hold back her tears from coming out. He had often seen his son moody like that, to the point that his emotions also turned more sensitive.

"There's a monster in your body, which makes you speechless. Why don't we train to defeat the monster? Will you train with me?" aksa asked in a soft but firm voice.

Aksa used some pretty strange words. But he needs to do this, because children are better able to understand their own imagination.

And this Aksa did so that Boy could understand his own situation. Boy would assume that he was sick because of a monster, and he had to practice, which is horse therapy, in order to recover.

"A. a. I want to..." Boy said in a soft tone after a moment of stammering.

His voice could not be heard by anyone other than Aksa, so they did not change his face. But Aksa smiled brightly, she stood up and patted Boy's head gently.

Boy felt something strange inside him. Usually, he would run away in fear from seeing a grown man. But now, for some reason he did not think of running even though there was still fear.

The others were also shocked, let alone the members of the Boy family. They were the ones who knew the most about Boy's condition, so they were very surprised because Aksa could pat Boy on the head.

"God..." Even Diah could not hold back her tears from coming out. She cried and hugged the middle-aged man beside her.

"Good, Boy, right? I'm Aksa. I'll be your coach today. So, young adventurers, let's practice!" Aksa raised his hand and shouted excitedly.

Boy has never seen a very passionate person like Aksa. But somehow he felt that this was interesting, so he also raised his hand, even though he did not shout because he was still afraid.

"First, protective equipment has been used, good. Second, the desire to train is there, good. Third, courage, do you have courage?" ask Aksa seriously.

Boy was frightened when he saw Aksa's serious face, but he heard Aksa's question. So, he ventured to nod his head.

Even though it was just an ordinary nod of the head, it meant that Boy could already start communicating. Aksa was of course happy about this, so he immediately asked his employees to bring horses.

The horse to be used is a pony, as it is suitable for children. Especially today is only for experiments and observations first.

If Boy has developed, it does not rule out the possibility that he can change his horse. But of course even if it can, it's very difficult. Because Boy had to overcome the fear in his heart.

"This is your comrade in arms from now on. Try touching him. Don't worry, there's me here" Aksa said with a gentle smile.

Boy looks at Aksa, then sees a pony in front of him. He had seen on television that there were knights riding horses. But he had never seen a pony before, and he felt a little less happy.

Aksa of course knows what Boy is thinking. So he said, "Don't overdo it. Do what you can. This pony is suitable for beginners like you. Know your limits, but don't be discouraged."

Boy thought of Aksa's words. Then he also remembered when the knight who rode a large horse was an adult. He looked at his small body. So he nodded and walked over to the pony.

"Good, stay calm. A calm heart and head can solve almost any problem" Aksa told Boy.
