Chapter 13: Ilyu vs. 5 Beast Tails

After so much time Ilyu spent in Arizona, Ilyu rushed to continue his journey until arriving in the next city or village before nightfall. If Ilyu stayed the night on the path he had taken, perhaps the Beasts would have sprung up and the number might not be just one. If it was like that, Ilyu did not know whether he could still defeat him or not.

Ilyu continued to walk south from Arizona City as shown by the map given by his teacher, Asta. Finally Ilyu left this Arizona City after he made achievements in this city so that he made himself famous.

The road taken by Ilyu this time is not much different from the road he took yesterday. The forest or shrubbery that is on the right left of the road taken by Ilyu is not quite dense.

Just as it was running, in front of him a very creepy Beast figure appeared. The beast seemed to have long, sharp teeth and walked bent over, his face invisible because it was dark. But what made Ilyu worried was, the Beast was not alone, precisely the number of Beasts Ilyu was seeing currently numbered 5.

Apparently the same all, they all had the same fangs and bent bodies. They realized the air of Ilyu's existence and at once their views were all diverted to Ilyu.

The Beasts could see clearly in the darkness at night so it was easy for them to see the surrounding area, in contrast to the less obvious Ilyu saw at night, to see the face of the Beast face in front of him Ilyu seemed to have difficulty.

The five Beasts also ran towards Ilyu and intended to prey on Ilyu. The beast ran so fast that it didn't take long for all of them to get close to Ilyu that even then Ilyu wasn't far ahead of the Beast.

The snapping of the Beasts was heard to Ilyu's ears and made Ilyu prepare to fight. Ilyu directly pulled his Greeneye Sword from the belt on his waist.

"Dark Ring Circle!" Ilyu shouted out loudly after raising both of his arms upwards.

A ring of pitch black rings circled Ilyu's body from the same leg to the head.

The two Beasts that had pounced so as to make Ilyu unable to move were also exposed to the black ring and shouted in pain because his hand was cut off by the black ring.

"Rrraaaaooggghhh!" shouted those two Beasts who were pouncing on Ilyu simultaneously.

The restraints that had been restraining Ilyu were gone and Ilyu was finally able to move freely. Ilyu also moved away and made a distance from the three Beasts who were still standing not far there.

The two Beasts that had fallen were standing back with their hands that had been cut off were now intact again.

"Is this what my teacher taught me called regenarasi?" ilyu said inwardly recalling the lesson she remembered while training with her teacher Asta after seeing the Beast's clipped hands intact or reconnected.

Regeneration is a healing power whose ability is unquestionable in terms of healing. This beast showed that it had regeneration abilities.

The screams of the Beast in pain also sounded strong, fortunately the place they were fighting was so far away from the settlement that no one heard the screams.

Not enough with the sword scratches he gave, Ilyu also fiercely slit the Beast's neck one by one with a speed that was difficult to imagine with the mind. Not until one second, the Beasts fell with their necks that had been hollowed because Ilyu slit while bleeding a lot.

The Beasts fell unconscious again and no longer regenerated. Ilyu who was still standing straight after launching that senseless attack also fell unconscious as well. And those bright red eyes were gone. For some reason, when Ilyu let out his red eyes earlier the five Beasts looked frightened and silent not moving their bodies.

Ilyu fell to the ground and was unconscious, while the five Beasts died without heads attached to their bodies.
