Chapter 00: Prologue [Remake]

Tokyo, August 21, 2022, At 05:59.

In a residential area located in Tokyo Prefecture.

There, there was a teenage boy who was sleeping soundly on a mattress measuring 200 X 160 CM. This teenage boy has a face that looks a little handsome, with his black hair that is as long as his shoulders, where his bangs were seen falling on the right side of his face that reached his chin and there are several strands of hair of his white. As well, the teenage boy also had a face that looked a bit feminine and gentle.

The boy has the name Shimotsuki Souji. He is the eldest son of the Shimotsuki family, and he is currently in the second grade of High School. She also attended an elite school called 'Ryuuji Gakuen'.

Right now, Souji was seen sleeping very soundly on his bed. However, moments later, suddenly a ringing of alarms was heard on the table near his mattress.

I heard the sound of the alarm. Souji groaned slightly, before he lazily started to open his eyelids and reveal his beautiful-looking Azure-Violet heterochromia eyes, where Souji then began to turn his gaze towards the alarm clock that was on the table in annoyance.

Sighing tiredly, Souji then started to get up from his bed and turned off the alarm clock, before he started to do a bit of straining and eventually walked away towards the bathroom.

In the bathroom, Souji started doing his usual morning activities, namely; brushing his teeth and washing his face.

After that, he began to look at the mirror in front of him, with his azure-Violet heterochromia eyes that began to narrow.

"Sigh! My hair is starting to go back to its original color again, huh? Huhhhhhhhhhhhh... It's really very troublesome once, I seem to have to dye it again after school." Said Souji in a vexed tone, as he began styling his black hair and wearing a black contact lens that covered his real eye color.

Finished doing the whole thing, Souji then started wearing his school uniform which consisted of; a white long-sleeved shirt, gray trousers, and a pair of pants, dark red-blue-white-black striped tie and deep blue embroidered jacket.

Then, the black-haired teenage boy started walking towards the kitchen and cooking breakfast. Where, at the moment Souji started putting the breakfast he had just made on the dining table, suddenly appeared someone who was walking towards the dining table, and immediately sat on one of the chairs that were there, without looking concerned in the slightest with his presence.

That person was a beautiful girl who had pearly white skin and looked younger than Souji. Where, this girl has long wavy white hair that reaches her waist and is seen tied in a ponytail style using a blue hairband. And, this girl also had beautiful azure-colored eyes.

Not only that, he was also seen wearing a school uniform consisting of; a white shirt rolled up to the elbow, a slightly too short gray skirt, the dark-white-black red-blue striped tie, the dark blue embroidered blazer that was rolled also up to his elbow and black socks that reached his thigh.

The girl has the name Shimotsuki Masuyu. She is the second and youngest child of the Shimotsuki family, currently in the third grade of First High School. She also attends the same elite school as Souji. However, he was at the Junior High level of the school.

Looking at the white-haired girl, Souji initially just stared at her silently, before he sighed exhaustedly and said; "Sigh! Can you pay more attention to your appearance, Masu-chan? You're still third grade in junior high school. But see? Your appearance already looks like that." Souji said this in a tired tone, while sitting in the chair in front of the white-haired girl.

The white-haired girl herself who heard that, she immediately frowned in annoyance and said; "Stop calling me that!! I'm not a kid anymore!!" Masuyu said in a snapping tone, while pounding the dining table, "And also, I don't want to be told by a very bad person like you, either, even his bad reputation has been heard up to my school building." He continued, while starting to eat his breakfast.

Souji who heard that could only let out a tired sigh and started eating his own breakfast. Even so, he was quite sad, seeing his cute little sister say such a thing to him as well. But, he also could not reply to her, or perhaps more precisely was, he who was too tired to reply to such things. Because, such a thing had almost always happened, ever since he started entering the first grade of High School.

Even so, to be honest, what this Masuyu said was the truth. Because, Souji himself actually has a very bad reputation in his school. In fact, the bad rumors have been heard to leave school. Therefore, he was already tired enough to reply to her and started accepting it like something mediocre to him.

After finishing her breakfast, Souji then starts putting all the dirty dishes in the sink, before she starts walking towards her own room to pick up her bag. Not to forget also he took a white scarf with a light blue scarlet-colored flame that he immediately wore on his neck.

Finished with it, Souji then went straight down back to the kitchen and on the way, he saw Masuyu who was also picking up his bag.

Ignoring the white-haired girl for now, Souji then started picking up one of the two lunches lying on the dining table and directly putting them inside his bag, before he walked back towards Masuyu who was already in the living room.

Arriving there, the teenage boy immediately opened his mouth and said; "Masu-chan, your provisions are on the dining table." Said Souji, turning around and leaving without waiting for a reply from the white-haired girl.

Meanwhile, Masuyu who heard the words from Souji, he immediately opened his mouth and said; "How many times have I said, stop calling me like that!! I'm not a kid anymore! And, it would be disgusting, if only you had called me that." Reply Masuyu in an annoyed tone, while looking at Souji who was walking away with hostility.

"And so, from yesterday I told you, didn't I? If I'd never eaten that stuff you made. In fact, even taking it with me I would never!" He continued, while returning to play with the Smartphone that he is currently holding.

Souji who heard that could only let out a tired sigh and said; "I had expected it to end like this. I'm starting to wonder, since when did he start turning into that?" Souji muttered in a sad tone, while starting to wear his shoes.

Shaking his head to remove the negative thoughts that had started to enter his head, Souji then began to open his mouth again and said; "If you really do not want to eat it, then you should just give it to Yuki." Said Souji in a tone that sounded quite loud, while getting up after he finished wearing his shoes.

Souji who did not hear any reply from Masuyu, he could only smile wryly and started walking towards the exit. However, just a few steps the teenager was walking, he suddenly just stopped his footsteps and turned towards the back.

"By the way, I almost forgot to tell you. But, tonight I'm not going home." Said Souji, taking out his Smartphone and starting to turn it on. Afterwards, the teenager opened the message and sent a message to someone.

[By the way, Kyouya, can I stay at your house tonight?]

After sending the message, Souji then began to turn his gaze back towards the front, only to see Masuyu's head peeking at him and looking at him sharply.

Masuyu who was looking at Souji who started looking at him, opened his mouth and said; "Why don't you come home tonight? Did something happen?" Masuyu asked Souji in a worried tone, while starting to look at him with slightly guilty looking eyes.

Souji who saw that instantly became a little surprised. However, she was able to quickly recover and said; "Hehh~ So, my cute sister is worried about me ya~" Souji replied to a question from Masuyu in a teasing tone, while waiting for someone he sent the message earlier reply to his message.

Masuyu who heard the words from Souji instantly had a very reddened face, before he hurriedly denied it; "S-si-who is also worried about you!! I-I just don't want to lose a free high-end chef like you!!" Masuyu refuted the words from Souji in an irritated tone, turning his face to the side. However, it is still clearly visible that his eyes are peering towards the Smartphone which is currently held by Souji.

Souji who saw that could only smile warmly at the white-haired girl and say; "Yes, yes, it's up to you." Said Souji in a lazy tone, while starting to open the message he just got.

Seeing that it was a reply from the message he had sent earlier, Souji then unceremoniously read it straight away.

[I can, anyway. But, are you having problems with your family, Souji-san?]

After reading the message, Souji could only smile wryly, before he replied.

[No. It's just, today there's a friend of my mother who stopped by. So, you should know not the reason, Kyouya?]

Finished sending the message, Souji then turned his head slightly towards Masuyu, only to see what the girl was doing.

However, by the time Souji had just turned his head towards the front, he was immediately startled by how close Masuyu was to him, and that made him take a few steps back.

"Huh... Can you stop quietly approaching like that?" Souji said that in a slightly irritated tone, turning around to walk back towards the exit.

Meanwhile, Masuyu who heard the words from Souji instantly turned his gaze towards the side, saying; "Hmp! Who is secretly approaching you. Don't be so nervous." Masuyu answered him in a annoyed tone. However, the girl still continued to stare at Souji with a hint of worry from the corner of her eyes.

Souji who heard that fell silent immediately, before he turned towards Masuyu and said; "Mu-impossible... Y-so, you've been a Ts-tsundere?" Souji asked Masuyu with a gerogi tone that inexplicably sounded filled with pure shock, while starting to stare at the white-haired girl with eyes filled with shock.

Of course, Masuyu who heard that, he again immediately had a reddened face, before the girl said; "S-s-s-s-who is also that Tsundere huh!!" Masuyu again refuted the words from Souji with a face that had turned completely red, where he also had a tone of voice that sounded irritated, while turning his gaze back to the side.

Souji who saw how his little sister reacted from the joke, could only smile wryly at her, before he turned back to walk towards the exit and opened the door.

However, before the teenage boy could walk out of the house, he was suddenly stopped by Masuyu who pulled his right arm.

Seeing that, Souji immediately sighed tiredly, before he turned his gaze towards Masuyu and said; "What's up, Masu-chan?" Souji asked Masuyu in a tone filled with confusion, while looking at him with wondering eyes.

Masuyu who had just realized what he was doing, he immediately pulled back his arm and hurriedly turned his gaze towards the side, saying; "Hmp!! Not the g-geer? I-I-I did all these things, it's h-just because you haven't answered my previous question. D-and that doesn't mean I have any other intentions or anything." Masuyu replied to the question from Souji in an annoyed tone, while glancing at Souji from the corner of his eye.

Souji who saw that could only return a warm smile towards Masuyu and pat his head, which of course it immediately caused the face of the white-haired girl to instantly turn completely red again.

Then, Souji immediately turned around without waiting for an answer from Masuyu and walked out, saying; "I didn't go home, because Okaa-san said her friend wanted to stop by the house tonight." Said Souji, as he continued walking out.

"So, because I don't want to bother him. I decided to just stay at Kyouya's house. What's more, you should already know the reason why I did that, right?" Souji asked Masuyu, stopping and turning towards the girl with a bright smile on his face.

Masuyu who heard this, he could only nod his head in response to a question from Souji, without saying a word, because the girl did understand the intent behind it.

Seeing that, Souji immediately nodded his head slightly, before he again opened his mouth again and said; "Then, I'll excuse you first and..." Said Souji, turning around and starting to walk away, "...May we meet again, my very cute sister." He continued in a seductive tone, smiling very seductively as well towards Masuyu, before he hurriedly turned around and accelerated his footsteps to immediately move away from the place.

Masuyu who was left alone could only stare blankly at the direction where Souji disappeared. Because, he was currently completely unable to think of anything anymore. Because, the whole series of events were very sudden earlier, and he was still trying to process it.

Then, the white-haired girl immediately woke up from her daydream, when suddenly there was a sound of the door being closed quite loudly, as a result of being hit by the wind.

Hearing the sound, Masuyu immediately woke up and tried to look around in a slight daze, before the entire series of events that happened just a moment ago directly attacked him and it managed to make his entire body turn bright red.

The damaged Masuyu immediately shouted very loudly, before he fell to the floor helplessly and started to hold his head.

Masuyu continued to repeat that, at the moment he tried to stand up and walked away heading to the living room to pick up his bag. However, this white-haired girl also did not forget to go to the kitchen to pick up the provisions that were on the dining table.

Masuyu said in a tone that inexplicably sounded more and more sinister, smiling with a red ronah on his cheek, "And, I will never let you be owned by anyone but me." The girl continued with a perverted smile that began to grow on her face, at which point she began to see a photo of the black-haired young man sleeping.

After that, Masuyu started walking away from the house in a very good mood. However, this girl at that time still did not realize it, if it was the last time, she could meet her beloved Onii-chan.

I muttered that in a tired tone, before I began to look around me with sleepy eyes, where I ended up closing my eyes again and entering into the World of my dreams.

"Shimotsuki-kun, are you still sleeping?"

I who heard that voice instantly opened my eyelids slightly, only to see who this person called me was. Because I don't want to be disturbed by anyone.

As I looked in the direction where the voice came from, I was immediately shown the appearance of a very beautiful girl with an elegant aura mixed gracefully around her. His black hair was very smooth, reaching his hips and was seen tied up using a red ribbon patterned in black clouds in a ponytail style. Whoever's there, do you know? Everyone along the way started staring at me with envious and scornful gazes, which they really did not try to hide at all. And of course, I became more and more socially isolated in this school, as a result of jealousy. The person who caused it did not realize it at all.

I who heard the answer became a little surprised. However, I quickly recovered and shook my head, saying; "No, maybe I'm the one who's still a little asleep."

Shinomiya-san who heard my words, she started to look at me with a bit of worry. However, the girl seemed to have decided not to ask further where she started walking again, saying; "Then let's go."

"Yes" I answered briefly at the words of Shinomiya-san, as I began to walk behind her.

However, just as I was about to climb the stairs, this time, I suddenly noticed a strange line appearing on the floor.

"Wait a minute, Shinomiya-san." I immediately said that, while starting to stare at the strange line on the floor with narrowed eyes.

"What's wrong?" Shinomiya-san seemed to have become confused again, after I called out to her.

However, I ignored his confusion and pointed towards the strange line that was on the floor, saying; "Hasn't there just been no line here?"

"Ehh!! You're right, where did this line come from?" Shinomiya-san immediately asked me that with a serious tone mixed in confusion, while starting to stare at the strange lines on the floor very closely, as if she was trying to confirm something.

However, the voice that I just heard, suddenly came back to speak. However, this time he spoke in a tone that sounded very upset.

[Damn!! Isn't this the magic circle of that damn ja.lang!! How could it appear here!? D-don't tell me, did he really intend to call some people from this World over there.].

I who heard it immediately looked around me with great seriousness, just to ascertain who the owner of this voice was. But unfortunately, I could not find the owner of the foreign voice at all.

Then, while I was in a state of annoyance, unable to find who the owner of the mysterious voice was, the strange lines on the floor suddenly lit up a little, which of course caused me and Shinomiya-san to close our eyes with our hands reflexively.

Also, Shinomiya-san almost fell down the stairs. However, I managed to make it in time to save him.

Shinomiya-san then started to stand quietly. However, the face of hers really looked to have turned completely red. However, before Shinomiya-san could say anything, the mysterious voice that had previously just suddenly came back to speak. This time, however, he spoke in a very soft-sounding tone.

Right after the mysterious voice was cut off. The light that shone from this mysterious line suddenly became so bright that it blinded my entire vision.

Yayy remake of first chapter already out! Although somehow it feels strange and how it is, but calm down, it will only be like that until the MC leaves the Palace, because after, the author's writing method may improve.
