I was the first of 3 children. As the oldest child in the family I had to help my mother support my two sisters because my father had died since I was in 5th grade Elementary.
This is my story Ferza Irawan.
In 4th grade, my father recognized me as a footballer. It was when my father came home from work that he brought me the ball that became my first ball.
"Assalamualaik." I said hello when I entered the house.
"Waalaikumsalam Daddy's home?" Little Ferza immediately rushed forward when she heard her father coming home.
"Yes Ferza I have something for you."
"Is that Dad?"
"Teng teng teng see this is a ball for you. You likey?" With a happy face, Dad gave little Ferza a ball he had just bought.
"Cool the ball Well I love it thanks Dad sometime we play ya." Ferza seemed pleased at his father's gift.
"You want to play now?" Dad offered Ferza to play ball right then and there.
"You want to."
Little Ferza and his dad they played ball in front of his house looked they were very happy with what they were doing.
Every now and then I take Ferza out to the field to watch a football game. It was there that Ferza met Angga who was his first friend from outside his school.
Ferza and Angga seem familiar in making friends. They both have a promise to enter the soccer school and meet at a tournament before they enter Junior High because they promise to enter the same Junior High School.
"Ferza let's fight." Said Angga who has now become his good friend Ferza.
"1 against 1?" Ask Ferza.
"Not but 11 versus 11. Let's play with each other's school teams."
"But I don't play soccer in my school."
"Stay in and train together to get us into the first team."
"Hm come. Anu Angga why does Angga really want us to compete?"
"Because we're a month away from the 5th grade and that's the only time to compete in the 6th grade, it's definitely going to be restricted to exculp activities to focus on the test."
"Then SMP?"
"Are you kidding or what? We will be one Junior High together we will compete differently team."
"Haha, yes, too."
For a year Ferza practiced playing football and his goal was to choose a race in order to face Angga later.
When Ferza sports lessons always show up when playing ball. His classmates always wanted Ferza to be with his team.
Until finally the selection day for the tournament arrived. Ferza got the opportunity to follow the selection but there are terms and conditions that apply one of them has soccer shoes that are quite expensive. But Ferza was confident that his father would buy him the shoes for later selection.
Ferza came home to school happy to bring the news he was going to tell his father. But when it was near the house there was a yellow flag attached. Ferza's house has been visited by people. Ferza could only be silent to see that, he ventured to walk slowly into his house to see that his mother and sisters were already crying.
Ferza's happiness when accepted into the tournament selection must be changed with a sadness when he found out that his father had died due to an accident.
"Why did you leave so soon. I will give my progress in playing football. Why Yah!!!" Ferza could only cry lamenting the fate he had obtained.
The day after his father died, the atmosphere of grief still enveloped the Ferza family, especially his mother who had to support her 3 children alone. But Ferza had to tell him about his selection for the football tournament. He dared to say that to his mother.
"Lady..." Said Ferza hesitantly.
"I chose to take part in the selection of football tournaments at my school Ma'am."
"It's good to go with the gapapa."
"Hm but must have soccer shoes and other equipment such as socks and others." Ferza knows this is not the right time but he must tell his mother to see the selection time that will not be long.
"Should there be football boots? It's expensive, son, where there's money."
"Yes, Mom has to."
"Are you really into a football tournament?"
"Yes Mom."
"In hold first yes want our needs a lot Mother promises someday if Mom has money Mom buy soccer shoes for you." Said Ferza's mother while rubbing her son's face.
Hearing that made Ferza's heart sad he had to bury his dreams for the sake of the family he loved.
Ferza decided to look for additional costs in order to help his mother support his two younger siblings.
When Ferza came home from school, he worked in a building shop. With his small body he can lift heavy objects for a bite of rice.
He continued to work and work until in the end the money he needed was enough to buy a pair of soccer shoes. But Ferza did not want the shoe again plus the tournament was over there was no longer a reason Ferza to buy the soccer shoes.
One day when entering Junior High Ferza and Angga managed to enter the Junior High School they were interested in. Angga quickly entered into the exkul football in the Junior High, while Ferza could not join because he had to work when he came home from school and there was no time to follow the excul activities.
Ferza only played ball during sports hours and in the afternoon after he finished work he played ball with other friends on the complex field.
Two-year-old Ferza had a hard life like this. Children his age are enjoying adolescence while Ferza spends his time making money.
When Ferza was in the 3rd grade Junior High, Ferza managed to enter the final round of the Junior High City tournament. Angga who is a core player at his school asked Ferza to watch it during the final match later.
"Ferza school we're in the finals watching us huh."
"When? I have to work."
"Sunday, you're off on Sunday."
"Okay, I'm gonna watch that game."
Ferza kept his promise to watch Angga's match. For the first time Ferza saw Chandra in the stands.
The final was not like a real final. SMP Tunas Pelita ******* discharged his opponent with a score of 4-0. Chandra played a major role in the massacre.
Ferza who saw it seemed annoyed to see his friends slaughtered 4-0 by the opponent.
"If I'd played, the score wouldn't be this." Ferza muttered his mouth until it trembled as he spoke like that.
Before the match was dissolved. Angga had a chance to talk to Chandra.
"Chandra Abinawa survived your victory. But look someone's gonna get back at you someday." Angga to Chandra.
"Returned? Wh who? 3 Years I played football in this city I always won without losing even though. Unless you mean the guy who's out of town." Sahut Al with a proud tone.
"Son, he's in this town. He's asleep now someday he'll devour you alive." Sahut Angga with his smile.
"Don't be shy. Until at any time no one will be able to defeat me in this City."
"Yes you better not be so arrogant in the sky there is still sky." Suppose you leave Chandra and continue the match with 3 minutes left.
