Chapter 40. Reason to come

"So there's my stuff left behind in this store, and I want to grab the item" the voice sounded familiar to Livia.

He paused for a moment and glanced at the woman who was talking to him. How surprised Livia was when she looked at the face of the woman wearing a red shirt who was staring at her also from there without stopping.

"You?!"

"You're Maura?!" Livia stammered.

"It's me!"

"Why? Why put on such a boring face?!"

"Am I a ghost and you have to take out your eyeballs?!" maura said with a slightly raised tone to Livia.

Eventually the two of them meet by accident, in front of Kenzo's shop during the rain and storm of the night. Livia Kenzo's son sleeps in the car, and they stare at each other and can't believe they met in Korea. Finally Livia left Maura just like that, because she knew that Maura did not want to see her and hated her at that time.

"Livia!"

"Wait...?!"

"Livia, I have something to talk to you about...!"

"Livia...?!" Maura kept calling but she got in the car and drove away.

The rain was so heavy that the voice of Maura calling out to him could not be heard by Livia. Maura was sad and just stared at Livia's car from a distance, while Livia just kept going and disappeared from the front of Maura with her car. And the store was closed and locked by Livia herself. All of his employees have also gone home, Maura is alone in the rain.

And not a few lam later a car came in front of Maura, it looks like the girl is still there.

The sound of the car's horn made Maura stand up from her squat on the outskirts of Livia's shop.

Someone got out of the car, wearing a white umbrella walking in the dark towards Maura right then and there. In the bright conditions Maura can see the person is Livia who returned to meet him in the swift rain it fell.

"Let's get in my car, and come to my house now." Livia invites Maura to her home and can't bear to leave herself alone in the heavy rain.

Maura goes with Livia to her house, the woman drives her car and returns home. Kenzo still sleeps at home with Livia's art to look after her, so Livia can pick up Maura without Kenzo. Maura noticed Livia who was so independent and looked more mature than him, Maura felt a little the figure of a mother who was so warm to Maura at that time.

They had reached Livia's house which was not too small nor too big. Livia lives alone with her son and in addition to her art a middle-aged woman who does not have a house to stay to help him at home. Maura went inside Livia's house, and stared around her. All looking beautiful and so warm, Livia gave a towel and also a change of clothes for Maura to sleep on tonight.

At Livia's house there is automatic warm water that can be used by Maura bathing because the cold rain soaks her outside. Likewise with Livia who cleans herself and told her art to make warm drinks and food to prop up their stomachs.

Livia sees Kenzo sleeping in her room, and Maya kisses her son good night. Maura who had finished her bath immediately sat down at the dining table and waited for Livia there.

"If you haven't eaten, aunt is warming up dinner for us now." Livia sat in front of Maura and enjoyed her warm tea.

"Thank you" said Maura who raised a glass of warm tea to drink.

They just kept silent for a moment enjoying the warm tea without speaking, Maura wanted to talk to Livia but was confused where to start. And he also felt guilty for asking Livia to leave his papa's life.

"Livia, I want to.." stopped and shut up.

"I'm asking you not to tell Alex your papa."

"Let's just say we don't meet and keep everything a secret from Alex when you get back to Jakarta" Livia said seriously.

"But Livia how could I possibly do that?!"

"While I as his son could not bear to see his biological father always suffering, not wanting to eat and now being sick thinking about the woman he loved so much right now."

"Hiks, hyiks..." Maura was crying and regretting everything.

Livia was surprised and a little worried to hear Maura's words, Livia was thinking and that night she could not sleep well after they finished dinner. Maura was very curious to see Kenzo that night, but she could not see Livia's son with her father Alex.

And that very night Maura told her dad to come pick her up to Korea to spend the new year's night with her. Maura threatens not to go home and leave her father if Alex does not come to Korea.

"Robby help you prepare papa's clothes for five days in Korea, because he will definitely be long here with me and with his woman."

"Please keep all this a secret from him, because I'm not sure of everything."

"Please arrange all flights and stay in the office for a few days." The estuary sent a message to Alex's assistant Robby.

Robby who read it is a little incredulous, and Maura wants to reunite them. But Robby Haris remains cautious and should not be caught by Alex's superiors in the office.

Alex picks up his phone and reads a short message from his daughter Maura, who wants to spend her new year's night together in Korea. And do not forget also Maura said that she was sick there, without anyone accompanying her who was sick. Maura lied a little, so that her papa came as soon as possible, and a little also threatened not to want to go home if not with her in Korea.

As soon as Alex told Robby to prepare for his departure to Korea, as Maura had expected, Alex would go straight to Korea. Robby also booked a ticket and prepared a suitcase for Alex to bring his equipment while in Korea with Maura.

This time Maura had booked a hotel for two nights with her papa. Maura believes that Livia must not like Maura who invited her father to come to Korea. But Livia took her papa on the grounds that Maura was sick and no friends were taking care of her there. Maura just wants them to be together and will not interfere with their happiness anymore. Maura is very sorry to see her father who is getting worse and can become a mental hospital patient because he is always blocking them from united.
