Chapter 51. Responsibilities

Her morning.

Choco woke up as usual. But this morning she still couldn't see Prilly's face. Because yesterday's events weren't a dream. It's real, that Prilly really left him.

Before entering the bathroom, Choco was pensive on the edge of the bed. His mind crumpled until his eyes looked blank.

Suddenly he walked into the closet. He opened the rectangular object slowly. It's blank! His clothes were no longer there. However, he found a cloth that folded neatly.

"What's that?"

Choco grabbed it, and it turned out that the cloth was a scarf. There was nothing special about a scarf, everything seemed ordinary, but what made the man intrigued were the two names embedded there.

Then after that Choco put the scarf in his closet. He went into the bathroom to clean himself up. This morning he had to teach, because he could not possibly run away from his responsibilities as a lecturer.

At the dinner table, everyone was gathered. Choco joined in and was forced to eat his breakfast. He does it all because given Zoya's message, he must not get sick or the search for Prilly will get harder.

All eat quietly, until breakfast time is completely finished. However, before they leave the dining table to continue their respective activities. Ken first calls Aneeq, Choco, and Caka.

"Follow Daddy!"

Because Choco has realized all his mistakes. Their start together is not good, he focuses too much on Prilly's mistakes to not realize his own stupidity.

"Yes, I was wrong, Dad. I was wrong to have wasted him until he chose to leave. And now, I'm trying to find Prilly, I'm taking her home" Choco replied with trembling lips. His tears were already reddened, but he was trying to stay firm in front of everyone.

"Good! Because you realize your mistake. Find him with your efforts! Take responsibility for what you have done to her. Because Daddy won't let Aneeq or Caka help you!" asserted Ken with a look that is not kidding.

Choco didn't mind a thing. Because he knew his father was teaching him responsibility. And the show appreciates what is already his.

While Aneeq and Caka could only budge, listening word by word that came out from the lips of the man who was in front of them.

"Yes, Dad. I'll stand on my own feet. And prove that I can bring Prilly back," Choco replied with determination. He will work hard, no matter how much time he has to spend.

While the girl he was looking for, was still wrapped in a blanket. Morning time is the time to laze around. Especially now that his residence is near the beach.

"About what will he do? Is he really going to look for me like Aneeq said. Hopefully yes, if not— when I become a young widow?"
