It seems like if Lana said Raul was her mother's spoiled child, it's not wrong. Lana cried for five days because of her hair, but when she came out, Lili came to him to tell Raul's condition.
"Mas Raul doesn't want to leave the room, Ma'am." So said Lili. "Last Mas Raul ate it the day after yesterday. That's just some bribes. Now I don't want to. I'm afraid Mas Raul is okay."
Why Lana should care about him, is what Lana wants to say but knows is impossible. He needs Raul to survive here, no matter how Raul is.
Lili said that Dewi had not come home since Raul turned down his new car and motorcycle. Their only hope for Raul to eat is Lana, which is why Lana has to go see him.
Inevitably Lana comes to bring Raul food, opens the door of his room only to be greeted by darkness.
"Rul."
The man was sitting as if he was mourning death. Upon seeing Lana, Raul's expression became bitter.
"Lana," she called him full of sadness.
Lana's heart is burning. This damn man is sad because his doll is not beautiful anymore. But it's better than having to be the other old man.
"Rul." Lana can hold back feelings for Raul and fake smiles. "I brought you food."
The young man actually held Lana's hand, putting his forehead there in despair. "Lana's hair," he mumbled. "Lana's hair."
Lana's fingers trembled as she cried. Of course he cried disdain at how this guy only cared about hair. But Lana made use of that cry as if she sympathized with Raul.
"Don't be sad" whispered Lana holding Raul's hand on her face. "Don't be sad, Raul. I'll have long hair for Raul. I promise."
"But it will be a long time" he replied as if he could not wait for her anymore. "Lana, Lana's hair is pretty. Lana cute equal hair Lana. But Mama's got Lana's hair. I was wrong."
Raul's face looked very disappointed. He held onto Lana's face and again looked hard to breathe.
Her lana. Lana is cute and adorable. Her sweet and pretty lana. Raul can't see him changing in someone else's hands.
"How to?" Jemari Raul seemed to shake violently as she continued to touch Lana. He looked a bit sane looking at his doll that had changed. "How do I have to let Lana come back? Must same. Must've Lana. What's the matter, Lana?"
"Raul—"
"Why?" muttered Raul, no longer aware he grabbed Lana's face. "Why does Lana have hair? Why not the others? No, no other, but why Lana's hair?"
A madman. He's a lunatic.
"Rul." Lana was crying from the grip on her face, but she held Raul's hand gently. "What am I so bad about now?"
Raul jerks. His grip immediately escaped from Lana's face. He gasped, covering his own face. But then Raul looked up again, looking at Lana more calmly.
"No." Raul shakes. "Lana's still cute. Lana's always cute."
Raul grabs Lana's back, hugging her tightly. "Lana's always been Lana" whispered she was weak. "I just can't believe Lana changed not because of me. I'm jealous. I'm so jealous."
Lana's lips trembled as she tried to smile at the madman. "You eat now, Dad?" ask them to stop talking about their hair.
