Part 63: The Word

Jasmin tilted her body over the bed, turned around at the dark window and displayed a view of the backyard. Her room was on the 2nd floor so the girl could feel a gust of cold wind greeting each night.

Jasmin did not think out, Haris' love expression last night and Haris' seriousness before the people was true or just a charade? Jasmin was very confused, as well as feeling tremendous heartache because he had always been ignorant. Several times in fact Haris revealed seriousness indirectly, such as always picking her up, dropping her off, guarding her and protecting her from all things disturbing. And, the most visible was a kiss on the forehead at night when Jasmin sobbed after a herd of robbers surrounded his house. Jasmin certainly remembered the event, even very much because he felt his heart pounding violently, as Haris hugged him, even as they were kissing on the bed, she said, Jasmin remembered it because the heart felt the same beat.

Remembering that, Jasmin again shed tears of sorrow. Now, how's Haris doing? If Jasmin had not consented to this mock marriage, they probably wouldn't have gotten into the big trouble they are today.

"Jasmine...!"

Jasmin was surprised instead of playing, when Haris' head emerged from the window frame, Haris' face appeared first and a tired smile appeared to decorate his face. Jasmin immediately got up from his sleep and walked up to the window of his room.

Haris tries to climb higher to get into Jasmin's room through the stairs he takes from Hani's warehouse.

"Haris...how did you get here?!" jasmin panicked.

Haris managed to climb, and both of his legs were on the floor of Jasmin's room. Haris breathed a sigh of relief, while Jasmin looked at him with a frown. The girl's cheeks were flushed.

"Lu cry?" asked Haris with a voice that was still hunting.

Jasmin nodded, and his cries broke again.

Haris smiled wryly, he could do nothing but wait for Jasmin to calm down. And again, after meeting this Haris brain was suddenly empty, the sentence he assembled on the trip suddenly collapsed when he saw Jasmin crying for his arrival.

"Min..," call Haris gently.

"Why? Why didn't you say? Hicks."

Haris gets quite tight punches on his chest and upper arm, Jasmin cries and beats him nonstop, but Haris is silent, instead he smiled warmly and looked at Jasmin with an unusual look. Jasmin grew sobbing poignant when Haris' response was very unexpected, usually if Haris was hit the man would grimace and nag or even reply, but now Haris kept quiet and let her cry and beat.

"Why did he?! All this time...."

Hap....

Haris held back Jasmin's fist that was about to punch her chest again, and clasped the girl's hand tightly, Haris also grabbed another hand of Jasmin to get into his grasp. Jasmin was speechless, looking down deeply with a gleam of flowing tears that felt warm on the cheeks.

Haris pulled Jasmin's body close to her, then with a gentle swipe of her thumb wiped Jasmin's tears away. Jasmin closed his eyes to stop him from crying.

"I'm sorry."

"Because I'm a loser" said Haris softly.

"Gue thought, I could keep lying to my own feelings Min, but in fact, man is a place of stupidity, my heart is too dear to you, my brain so follow along," haris said with a stupid smile.

Jasmin looked up, looking intently at the look of his best friend.

"Behind the word joke that I often tell you, there is a feeling of affection that I never say."

Haris chuckles, "Gue stupid Min. Because I thought, we wouldn't probably have any special feelings for each other. And my stupidity is more and more, when I lose the same as my own beliefs. I fell in love with you."

"There was a time, I was so afraid of not squirming you again. I was afraid when your mom got angry and threatened you to stay with your papi in the Netherlands. So, I'm worried..How is my life without Jasmin?"

Jasmin bit her lower lip, crying incessantly in front of Haris who was busy correcting herself.

"10 years I like you... Jasmin, I love you, I love you equally."

"Don't stay with me.. Who do I have to be with if there's no you?" Jasmin wiped her tears violently, and Haris was waiting for her.

"Ris, do you know why I called you Arnold?"

Haris shook his head, Haris also did not know for sure why Jasmin always called him Arnold, even the call Jasmin had given to Haris when they were still in elementary school.

Jasmin let out a small laugh between her cries. "Know Hey Arnold?"

Haris rounded his eyes, and Jasmin was still laughing like a fool.

"Little Gue Helga was Nold... I've loved you since I was in SD."

Haris pulled Jasmin's body towards him and hugged the girl tightly while smiling poignantly.

"Gue tried to stop making you like it at that time, but I couldn't. I was also heartbroken, when you had a crush on Airin's brother when we were Junior High."

The quiet night turned into so quiet, Haris helped Jasmin to fall asleep by not bothering the girl and chose to sit on the floor. Jasmin covered herself with a blanket and stared at the ceiling of the room. Time showed at 2 am after they had a long chat to express their hearts and dark times.

Suddenly Haris became so awkward, as well as Jasmin who could not stay on his bed, closed his eyes even Jasmin could not afford because the atmosphere with Haris felt different than usual, especially today they have often embraced like teletubies.

"Min, what time do you leave for the Netherlands tomorrow?"

Jasmin turned towards Haris, he sighed. "Morning flight."

Haris bit her lower lip."Still not hunted," murmured Haris.

"Lu want to take me there? Want to buy a flight ticket?" Jasmin excitedly turned towards Haris.

The man smiled faintly and made Jasmin blush even more.

"Who am I going to be there?" jasmin asked again to reconnect his initial sentence, Haris still did not answer.

"Min...."

"Huh?"

"Bikin baby yuk...."

"Ris, what the hell!"

Haris opened his leather jacket and climbed onto the bed, pinning Jasmin on the head of the bed that belonged to them both. Jasmin hid her face on the blanket while Haris smiled at the look of her adorable best friend.

"Look Min, before you leave me."

"DARIS!" jasmin said a little shouting, of course it makes both of them surprised, because the arrival of Haris here is very secret and very dangerous if Hani finds out.

"Wouldn't you want to make a baby with me?“

Jasmin puffed her cheeks. "That's not it. but."

"Any huh?" ask Haris.

"Yes, we've been...."

"We had a kiss" Haris said, grabbing Jasmin's words.

Jasmin glared at Haris and smiled amusedly.

"What, you don't lust when I kiss you?"

Jasmin looked down, so embarrassed.

"That's it," Jasmin replied in a soft voice.

"Yaudah ayok..has been ready," said Haris innocently with a pushy tone.

"Ris iiihhh.. ticklish!!"

Haris frowned. "Gue hasn't done anything about you Min. How amused is that?"

Jasmin laughed slightly as she closed her lips. "Gue's scared."

"Fear what?"

"Fear it...."

"I'm afraid of 'aja' anyway."

"Don't Haris...."

"Hehe, yaudah ayok." Haris grinned and raised his two thick eyebrows, instead of tempted Jasmin even wanted to laugh at the behavior of his best friend.

Hani and Dimas are already at the airport, of course with Jasmin who is actually about to leave in a few minutes, but Jasmin seems reluctant to step foot into the departure area.

"Later Surya play there if Airin's brother is healthy," tell Surya who also helped deliver Jasmin to the airport.

Airin was sick so the pregnant woman could not go to the airport to deliver Jasmin. So, Surya as Jasmin's brother also represents Airin's speech to be conveyed to Jasmin.

Jasmin nodded and forced her smile to Surya. "Yes, brother, thank you very much."

Hani looks turned away from Jasmin, the woman is actually very heavy handing Jasmin over to her ex-husband, but Jasmin has already let her down enough that Hani feels it appropriate to part with Jasmin at this time.

"If there's anything, call papa ya Min," Dimas added.

"Huum. thanks Pah."

Dimas hugged his daughter gently with a smile. "Yes, yeah, don't be sad."

Jasmin took off her embrace from Dimas and turned to Hani who seemed to be holding back the cries ever since they arrived at the airport. Dimas and Haris did not dare to interfere and chose to leave the mother and child alone.

Hani does not stare at Jasmin, but Jasmin continues to wait for Hani to look at him for a while.

"Miih," called Jasmin in a hoarse voice.

"Jasmin go first. Jasmin won't be home until mommy asks Jasmin to come home."

"Jasmin is with Haris."

"Don't mention that name anymore." cut Hani when he heard Haris' name called.

Jasmin pursed her lips. "But, he's Jasmin's husband now."

Hani finally sighed and stared at Jasmin with a pushy look, Jasmin became scared, afraid that Hani would come back angry and yell at him.

"Whatever you are."

"Mihs.... Jennie left.... Assalamualaikum."

"Wa'alaikumsalam."

Hani takes off Jasmin's departure at the airport that morning, Jasmin looks very petite with the large suitcase she brought with her. The real weight to take off Jasmin, but it has been a big decision for Hani to give lessons for her son and also Haris.

Jasmin occasionally looked back to look at Hani, and the further he walked the more Hani disappeared from his sight.
