Gavino (Mafia System)

Gavino (Mafia System)
A Puzzle

The deal that Gavino made with Lorenzo, finally worked out. That is, Lorenzo will help Gavino in the face of Verdi, or his other enemies.

"Oh yes, instead of I want to contact the Captain yes, why did I forget!" muttered Gavino, by patting his own forehead. But the murmur was also heard by Lorenzo.

"What's Gavin?" asked Lorenzo, who did not clearly hear Gavino's voice muttering earlier.

"No. Its alright. I just want to go home first" said Gavino quickly.

Finally Gavino decided to go home, because he wanted to contact the Captain, later at home.

Lorenzo let Gavino go home, because it was already noon. So he thought that, Gavino must have other more important business and work.

"I go home first, yes" said Gavino standing up from his seat.

"OKs. Be careful on the road!"

"Do I need to take you?" asked Lorenzo, continuing his words earlier.

"Oh no need. The taxi was still waiting" replied Gavino, who had forgotten. If the taxi that drove him is still out there.

Shortly after, Gavino arrives home. He immediately contacted the Captain, by sitting first in the living room, without without entering his own room.

..."Hello Captain, how are you?" ...

..."Haha... I'm a good young man. I thought, You don't remember me anymore. How are you?" ...

..."I'm saying it's okay, Captain. Thank ye. Oh yeah, sorry I didn't call the Captain for a long time."...

..."Hahaha. Is there anything I can help you with? Do you need my help?" ...

..."Hehe... Don't embarrass me, Captain. You're too honest to ask directly without further ado."...

..."Hahaha.sorry, sorry. I'm just thinking that, if you call me, it's a sign you need help. What can I do for you?" ...

..."Alright. You can always guess in the right way. Hehe..."...

..."Whahuh? It seems like something is important." ...

..."Does the Captain still remember the Verdi case, which relates to the fake money printing machine first?" ...

..."Emhhh. The person who caused both your parents is also not it?" ...

..."Yeah, it's Verdi." ...

..."What's wrong with him?"...

..."Is he really out of custody? because he should be, he's still two years in jail." ...

..."For a moment! I'll see the report."...

Gavino waited, as the Captain had to search the data of the prisoners in the prison. He didn't take care of the paper, so he could only search for information from the reports on the data.

After a while, Gavino receives a report from the Captain about Verdi. He said he remains in custody to this day.

..."He's still in Gavino's custody. Not free. Where did you get the information, that Verdi was free?" ...

..."Still in custody? but my friend said, if he ever met Verdi in a mall, a shopping center in this city. Does Verdi have a twin or brother who looks like him?" ...

..."I don't know. But according to this report, Verdi is still in custody and has not come out yet. He's only been free for less than two years." ...

..."Then, who was the one who met my friend in the mall yesterday?" ...

..."Do you want to see it on the lawn! If so, I can accompany you there."...

..."Of course I can. We only see it from afar, with the activities of the inmates there. How's it?"...

..."It seems like a not bad idea. All right, where do we meet?"...

..."We meet in front of the yard how? I'm in the office right now." ...

..."Alright. I'll be there soon!"...

..."I'm waiting for Gavin."...

Finally Gavino went into his room first, to pick up his jacket and gloves.

He would go to see the Captain in front of the field, to observe Verdi, using only a motorcycle. He didn't bring the car, because it would take him longer to arrive.

Gavino said goodbye to the chief maid, and asked her to keep working on something as usual.

"I have business outside. Just do the job as usual."

"Good Young Master."

Shortly thereafter, the motor driven by Gavino, seemed to be running at moderate speed. Because he thought that, this afternoon the traffic was quite crowded. He does not want to break the rules of traffic, by driving at high speed.

After a while, he arrived in front of the building. And it turns out, the Captain's car is already out there.

The Captain got out of the car, and leaned against the door waiting for him.

After Gavino parked his motorcycle, the Captain walked over to him.

"How are you doing, Gavino?" ask the Captain by shaking Gavino's hand.

"My news is very good, Captain. Thank you." Thank you."

"Are we going straight in?" ask the Captain by pointing towards the door.

"Why not? come on, let's go in!"

Gavino also did not want to waste any more time, so the two of them immediately entered the gate of the state detention house on the outskirts of the city.

Finally the captain arranged everything, by registering himself as a guest, who wanted to meet with one of the inmates. But he also told officers that he would only see from a distance. Not meeting the prisoner directly, in a room. Which is specially used to meet with the inmates.

"We went to the guard post. There we can use binoculars, to observe the atmosphere in the washcloth."

Gavino just nodded, then followed the Captain who was walking behind the field officer.

Arriving at a guard post, similar to a watchtower, the Captain and Gavino are handed one man with one binocular. So that the two of them can make observations together.

"How's Gavin?" asked the Captain, still with the binoculars in front of his eyes.

He has not yet found Verdi, among the many inmates.

"Not yet seen Captain. Is Verdi really still here?" Gavino asked the question, because of the doubt in his heart.

"We'll wait a minute. Maybe because it's daytime now, so many inmates are lazy to go to the field."

Gavino just nodded, hearing the explanation given by the Captain. Although actually he was also a little curious, with the figure of Verdi who was in the Mall, and who was in the garage.

"Didn't the Captain ask, did Verdi's convict still exist or have gone out?"

Finally Gavino asked as well, with a question that stuck in his heart.

"I've asked. And the officer said that, Verdi's still in prison here."
