Chapter 9 Getting Out of the House

I went into the room, opened the drawers, took out some of my clothes, but only the clothes I remember my mother bought.

After a while, I put my clothes on the bed. I took off my school uniform and changed into the clothes on the bed.

I grabbed the rest of the clothes on the bed. 3 shirts, 3 shorts, 1 pair of jeans, and, and a pair of small high school uniforms that I remember buying my mom when I was in 1st grade, a few months before she died.

I looked around my room. I picked up a black plastic bag containing 1st and 2nd grade high school books.

I took all the books out of the plastic bag, and I put the clothes on the bed. I lowered my head to get my school uniform I was wearing and I put it on my bed, on top of a pile of books strewn about.

I reached into my high school uniform, took out my phone, wallet and motor key.

Now my left hand is holding plastic, my right hand is holding a cellphone, a wallet and a motor key.

Using my left finger, I opened the room door and walked towards the warehouse that was behind the house. I took my old shoes, and put all my luggage on the floor to free my hands with my shoes.

After my old shoes were worn, I took my luggage back and stepped towards the front of the house.
