The night shows the beautiful rays, the street lights of the capital city give a beautiful impression of the upper building. Some people spend time with their lovers, some spend time alone.
But not as beautiful as the life of a couple, who are currently in a great debate. Her husband accidentally watched the wife making out from the opposite direction. He knew it was his wife, he believed it. His wife's face was plastered, while the man was behind him by holding his wife.
Sick?
Sure, don't ask again.
Disappointed?
Hugely.
The woman he had believed in, the woman who had accompanied his life for ten years, had now become second to none. Wanting to approach him but the logic is still running, the man thought about still maintaining his wife's self-esteem so that his son in the future got a moral burden.
He can still think clearly about people now who don't care about each other, who they think only about content, how to be a fyp, without caring about others. Even they use a caption that really shows as if they really care, but sometimes it is just for an attractor for his followers.
What irony it is but this is the world now, filled with deceit. People who only pursue the viewer are able to do everything. It even takes away the privacy of others, takes away the self-esteem of others, just for what? Yes, of course, for the content. Now we are in a time of not knowing the good and just pretending. Because we have arrived where social media is supposed to connect the far to get close, but now it has distanced the near, and deceived the far.
That afternoon he came back with a raging heart. Long he waited for the return of the wife from his forbidden date, the man planned to give a surprise to his wife, but the plan did not always go well. As the saying goes, man is only able to plan while God determines.
The man waited for his palace to return until the evening before, and the woman had only returned when the magrib had arrived, his wife had not brought their child, and she had not, it was marked their son was still entrusted to his sister and also his sister's best friend.
The woman breezed while singing into the apartment. The man deliberately did not pick up his son and was grateful his wife did not bring their child, although his longing was very much in his heart. But he did not want to fight in front of his son.
"Where are you from?"
A voice that really surprised the woman, she was surprised to hear the voice of her husband who had been sitting in the living room.
"From going out" he said, trying to be relaxed in front of the man. All this time, he was not caught with his dagger. She thinks her husband bo*doh doesn't know what. "You've come home, Atala? When?"
"From this afternoon," he said coldly. The man who used to be called Atala was now sitting down by removing his hand, trying to refrain from playing hands with women who had disappointed him. "Where are you going to come from?"
Atala was so upset that she called the woman by her name only. It really surprised Yanti. The man who had hazelnut eyes, and was tall in stature, and had a cross-faced face was looking at him sharply. Yanti realized something was making her angry. Yanti tried to explain it, but there was no way she could be found out there must be someone complaining about it. Thought Yanti.
"What do you mean? I'm of course from the outside, Putra wants to play with Linda and Nisa, of course I take her there. I was there just now, only then did I come back here, but my friend had a problem so I accompanied him," Yanti lied to her face.
Atala knew it was all a lie, she had seen it with her own eyes, there was no way they were just friends. Laugh in the face of worthy things. Befriends? It was impossible, Atala chuckled at him.
Yanti knew Atala was laughing at her lie, she finally upset herself. "What do you want? Why are you coming home like this? Did you find another woman? So you started looking for trouble with me?" Yanti tried to bring things back. He doesn't want to look guilty in this.
Yanti's shrill voice reached the ears of their apartment neighbors, until some of them began to approach and eavesdrop on the household quarrel directly.
"You didn't speak wrongly? First you lied about me, second you lied about my sister. And do you also want to lie about yourself?" Atala squinted her eyes at Yanti. "Ah no you've been lying, and that's your biggest lie."
"Don't be crazy," Yanti said, annoyed that her voice was rising, she had been in the corner since, she wanted to look like someone who was hurt.
"I'm crazy? You're the crazy Yanti! I'm busy working for you, for our son, then what?" Atala let out a very loud laugh, even very echoing in Yanti's ears, as if laughing at something that should not be in a laugh right. Yes Atala was laughing at his stupidity all this time, How could he be deceived by the woman, when he was busy making a living for them. "You playing crazy behind my back? You're making out in Yanti's crowded place, not that I don't see you," Atala raised her voice, leaving Yanti stifled. Intentions want to turn things around, it is now he who is cornered. He can't move, he's been pointed at by evidence. "You still don't believe it? This is your picture, should I spread the whole new apartment you'll admit?"
"Don't you go crazy, you want to ruin my name?" Yanti yelled out in annoyance, already wet cockerels, all had been seen, evidence of infidelity had been seen.
"You yourself ruined your name," Atala pointed towards Yanti who was only shoulder-high. "I'm going to my sister's, you think it's your fault. I gave you a chance for my son" Atala left Yanti alone in the apartment. Yanti looked towards the apartment door, there were some residents who looked towards her. Yanti guessed they must have heard everything.
"What do you see, don't you have a job? You gossipers get out of my apartment, "Yanti yells at all the residents who look disgusted at her.
"Basar has no gratitude, it is clear that your husband is very loyal, handsome and willing to work hard to fulfill your life. Still cheating, once cheesy yes cheap," said one of them, who did not like Yanti since long ago.
"What are you saying, you gossip boy!" Yanti said while slamming the door of her apartment, destroyed already her pride. He was really upset with everything.
Atala had just arrived at the simple courtyard of the house she used to live in with her father and foster mother. What a childhood he missed so much. A foster family who loved him very much. Atala tried to smile to hide all her sadness. He'll sleep here first for tonight.
"Assalamualaikum" Atala knocked on the door of the simple house.
"Walaikumsalam" a beautiful girl opened the door with a sweet smile.
"Sister, let's go in. The son inside was playing with Nisa," the girl said.
"Linda how was your college?" Atala looked at Linda who was wearing casual clothes.
"Are you not ready yet?" Atala seems to have forgotten the state of Linda who was unemployed two years ago to find money to go to college.
"Kan Linda was unemployed first, sister, next semester just wanted an internship," Linda said chuckling. They entered the house while walking together to the family room which crawled into the tv room. Atala immediately sat in the room, right next to her son and sister. "Linda grabin' what drink, sister?"
"What aja, the cold yes," said Atala immediately sitting beside the son and Anisa. "Father's brother and father's son..."
Atala kissed the cheeks of both, then came into play. Linda came to bring drinks for Atala, and sat down. Linda chose to watch television.
"Yes.. father tonight Son sleep with Aunt Linda first yes," said the son pouted. The boy thought that his father would take him back to the apartment. Honestly, he is very afraid of his mother, especially his mother likes to be angry when there is a male friend of his mother.
The son still remembered very well that his mother was angry when the Son accidentally dropped his food, and the man in front of him just shook his head. Then leave the dining table. His mother was so angry and locked him in his room, that he did not go to school for the next day.
"Yes we sleep here" said Atala, gently rubbing her son's head.
Anisa clearly knows who Atala is, they are not siblings, but obviously they grew up together. Anisa knows that Atala has a problem and chooses to hide it.
"Sister, are you okay?" Anisa looked fixedly at Atala's face, making Atala smile.
"I'm ok, don't worry," said Atala smilingly covering up all her sadness.
"Sister according to lecturer Linda is not good at storing wounds, it is better to talk about let the heart be relieved," said Linda continued the talk of the two brothers.
Atala smiles choosing to gently rub Linda's hair, she has also considered Linda like her own sister. Atala knew Linda well. "You're not yet aware of household problems, there's a time when you're married."
"Still a long time brother, a girlfriend has not had until now," said Anisa with all the expressions that came out of her body gestures.
"Have relapsed again, would want to vent colongan," Linda laughed at Anisa's behavior that was easy to make everyone laugh.
Anisa does have a face that should be Indonesian, because Anisa is a native Indonesian, while Linda does have a Turkish father and a native Indonesian mother. Her man dies after an accident hits them, and little Linda is left in an orphanage by her uncle. Now Linda lives with her best friend, and runs it all on her own.
The night is getting late, now Atala is lying in Linda's room, the house does have only two rooms, before he married he will sleep in the tv room. After marriage, she chose to stay in an apartment. Atala had asked her parents to move, but they did not want to leave the simple house.
Two years ago both her parents died and she had to be an older sister and a father to Anisa. Although the girl refuses to stay in her apartment, Atala is allowed to calm down, because Anisa lives with Linda.
Atala looked at her son who was now asleep, his son would turn eight years old. He did not want his son to lose the love of his parents. He wants his son to be as lucky as he is, even with different conditions.
Atala chose to get out of her room, and walked towards the kitchen. His throat felt dry when he remembered the whole problem. Want to go but there is a tie, want to be free but like there is a cage that locks it. That is how Atala feels right now. While walking towards the kitchen, he saw a light in Anisa's room. Atala peeked at the activities of the two girls, it seems Anisa is busy with her final assignment, while Linda seems busy reading books. Atala smiled at the two, this is why he did not want to tell the girl, he had seen how difficult the two girls' lives, working while in college, was not easy, so he didn't want to add weight to their story.
Without feeling the tears Atala dripped making Atala immediately wipe it and walk towards the kitchen, open the refrigerator, and sip it until it runs out. Atala tried to calm her head by drinking cold water.
......................
"Hello honey..." Yanti seemed busy playing her pretty nails.
"Yes baby? Wh why? Kangen?" Yanti smiled when she heard the voice of the man, Yanti as a teenager who was drunk with romance.
"We got caught with my husband honey..." Yanti whined from the end there.
"What?! Does he know my face? If he finds out, he'll make my company image broken, I'll fire him" El Barack shouted from the other end.
El Barack is the boss of Atala. Honestly, he also had a wife, but he still underwent an affair that had reached three months.
"Relax honey, he only sees you from behind" Yanti said, to him El Barack is a very perfect person, well established, handsome too. He even felt lucky to be his mistress.
They initially meet at the annual event of El Barack's company, when Atala brings Yanti, and introduces her to her boss. Some accidental encounters eventually lead them to an illicit relationship.
"It's good baby, hm. tomorrow I'll send him out of the country, representing me" El Barack said at the end of the country.
"Hm. no problem, you just tell him, let my son leave it to his sister," said Yanti smiling happily.
"Ok baby, I'll be gonna miss you" El Barack said on the phone. "Ah my dear wife, baby baby baby."
Barack turned off his phone just as the door opened, a beautiful woman smiling charmingly at him. "Aren't you tired, baby? Let's go to sleep."
"Hm. but I ask yes," he said immediately carrying his wife. The woman laughed while hugging her husband.
