Nathan's Longing

It's been two days now Nathan's been looking for Safa in the cafeteria but Safa still doesn't exist. Until Nathan had to ask with a bagged salesman named Mirna's mother.

"Usually Mutia always leave Safa here sir, because as far as I know Mutia at least trust the people she just knew. Safa has been deposited here from Safa baby, I want to see photos of Safa when the baby" said Mirna's mother.

Mirna's mother also took her cellphone which stored photos of Safa when she was a baby. Nathan looked at his picture and a smile rose on his face.

"Beautiful" murmured Nathan.

"Yes like her mother, beautiful and sweet. Poor Mutia she had to give birth at the age of only nineteen. And must live alone to take care of Safa. If I had a son, I would have been a match for Mutia" Mirna's mother told me.

There was a feeling in Nathan not accepting that Safa should call father with someone else.

"Sorry sir, if I'm presumptuous. You must have fallen in love with Safa. I did too sir".

"Yes Mom".

"Why don't you just ask Mutia?, why isn't Safa invited to work again".

Nathan just silently hears Mirna's mother's words, asking Mutia that it is impossible because Nathan knows how Mutia behaves with himself cold and tight.

"I'll ask you later" Nathan replied.

Nathan and Mirna's mother talked about everything for a long time. Nathan has permission to go to his office.

Nathan passed the factory to see all his workers who were again working, and how surprised Nathan was he to see Mutia who was told to do other work even some to scold him.

Before returning to his office Nathan stopped by the office of the new chief superintendent named Tio, who had only been working for two years. Mr. Usman, the old chief superintendent, is retired.

"Grand in" Tio took along as she looked at who had entered her office.

Nathan sits on the chair occupied by Tio while Tio sits on the sofa for guests.

"There's a need for you to see me" Tio asked.

"It's my factory, so it's up to me to do it" Nathan replied coldly. Tio was silent and could no longer say.

"I want to ask about Mutia" Nathan said directly.

"What happened to Mutia sir" Tio asked back.

"It's okay" Nathan replied.

"Oh I think you like Mutia, Mutia is beautiful and her body is very good. People did not think she had a child. If Mutia wants to be my mistress, I will definitely meet all her needs including her son Safa's needs" Tio said.

Nathan silently listened to Nathan's words.

"But I don't think Mutia is that kind of woman, she's married" Nathan said.

"But I heard gossip, he sold himself to every man and Safa was born. So Mutia is a cheap woman who likes all men as long as the man has money. He must have given up his body" Tio said

"Mutia isn't that kind of woman, she's a good woman that I use for my own benefit" Nathan murmured inwardly.

"And Safa is whose father it's not clear who" Tio said.

"Safa is obviously my son with Mutia, I'm sure of it" Nathan said.

"And Mutia's job here is just a messenger" Nathan asked.

"Yes sir, but there used to be Mr. Usman he's not too heavy work. Everyone is afraid of Mr. Usman and the rumors circulating in this factory. Mutia has been the mistress of Mr. Usman all this time" explained Tio.

"Sir, what's wrong sir" asked Tio who saw Nathan daydreaming.

"It's okay, get on with your work" Nathan said, leaving Tio's room.

Tio escorted Nathan to the front door of his office.

Nathan returned to his room and he saw what Mutia was doing. And once this Nathan saw Mutia again being angered by another worker.

Nathan walks up to Mutia with a woman.

"See Mutia what are you doing?, everything is so broken like this" said the woman, who bears the name Rima.

"Sorry, I'll fix everything".

"Indeed you can fix it?, you won't be able to Mutia. Here you are just a messenger" shouted Rima furiously.

"What's this?" ask Nathan.

Rima was immediately silent because seeing Nathan coming, Nathan immediately approached Mutia and Rima.

Mutia could only lower her head without even looking at Nathan's face.

"If the boss knows, I can be fired but I'm not the one who did it. Last time I was out of the bathroom everything was a mess" Mutia's inner.

"This sir, Mutia is ruining everything and cannot go back to how it was" Rima said.

"Mutia look at me, it's all you do" Nathan asked.

"It wasn't me sir, it was when I came back from the bathroom everything was destroyed like this" Mutia said.

"Don't believe sir, this is all Mutia did. He doesn't like all the workers here. Because we always told him to sir" Rima said.

"Sir, please believe me. I can't do it, what for?. I need this job sir, don't fire me. I'll change everything, if you need, you can cut my salary. But don't fire me pity me sir" said Mutia folding her hand.

Nathan saw the phone he left at his desk. He saw fifty missed calls from Sadam, his personal assistant who is now in Jakarta.

Nathan then calls Sadam and asks why Sadam called.

"Hello what's up Sadam?" ask Nathan to the points.

"You're Nathan's habit, call me you don't pick up. You go anywhere" Cerocos Sadam.

"Cerewet...What's Sadam?".

"If you told me I'd say I'm chatty".

"What is Sadam?, if there is no need for the phone I close" threatened Nathan.

"Don't.." cried Sadam but it was too late for Nathan's phone to close.
