Meanwhile Danzo stands in the Hokage's office, facing Hiruzen. Narrowing his eyes, Danzo spoke in a flat voice. "Why did you call me, Hiruzen? Aren't you busy with Uzumaki integration?"

Exhaling his pipe, the latter dropped the construction documents he was holding and spoke in a loud tone.

"Fugaku voiced Jin's idea of joining Anbu."

"Hm?" His interest was piqued, Danzo's attitude changed. "Anbu? Why'd you call me if he wouldn't be under my watch."

"That's where you're wrong. He wants Jin to work under you." Smiling mysteriously, Hiruzen placed his chin on his interlocking fingers.

"Below me?" Taking a moment to process the information, Danzo narrowed her eyes. 'For what reason? Does he want you to plant a spy near me?'

Feeling he could easily read Hiruzen's intent, Danzo's lips curved slightly. Eventually, something happened that he could control.

The next morning Jin meets the Third Hokage.

Jin stood in front of Hiruzen, slightly bowing. Although it was annoying, he still had to consider in this situation.

"Jin, what brought you here today?" Although the sun had just risen, Hiruzen had already done so with his pipe, exhaling a huge cloud of smoke as he spoke. "Is there a problem?"

"Sir Hokage, I came to ask for your help." Still bowing, Jin spoke in a monotonous, disrespectful or polite tone.

"Kakuzu from the waterfall.. S-level criminals ." As he read through Kakuzu's information, Hiruzen frowned. A Chunin wants to hunt this guy down?

"Young Jin, your talent is undeniable, but this might push him a little ."

He doesn't know how to respond. This was the first time a Chunin had asked for an S-level criminal subjugation mission. Especially themselves.

Also, Kakuzu was quite powerful even among the others at that rank. From the rumors, he was more tenacious than a cockroach, making his killing a far-fetched dream, especially for a Chunin.
