CHAPTER 2. Thirteen Open Meridians

Wu Linyan who was awakened in the dark room after being dazzled by the light coming out of the Jade became very confused.

“Where am I? What really happened?” asked Wu Linyan who was unable to see anything around him.

Wu Linyan who was struggling to find a way out of the darkness that surrounded him suddenly saw a light in front of him.

Wu Linyan who kept running after the light source was still unable to reach the light source despite having run for three hours.

‘Sial! Whatisthis? Why am I the one who has been running for so long still unable to reach that light source?” wu Linyan asked with a confused face and a tired body.

At the moment when Wu Linyan had started to surrender suddenly a voice sounded and the distant light was approaching making Wu Linyan rush to put on a vigilant position.

“You don't have to be that wary of me because I don't intend to hurt you!” said that light that made Wu Linyan even more suspicious.

“Who are you really? What is this place? Give me back where I come from now!” wu Linyan shouted with a sturdy body and trembling hands in fear.

The light that saw Wu Linyan pretended to be bold before him when in fact it was afraid of not being able to hold back its laughter.

The ridiculed Wu Linyan became annoyed and jumped up and down to reach for the light to beat him up but whatever Wu Linyan did was not successful.

“Stupid basis! Do you think you can teach me a lesson with your broken body?” satirize the light with a disdainful tone.

“You can never reach me let alone hurt me with that broken body!” reveal that light again which opened the old wound in Wu Linyan's heart.

Wu Linyan who realized his weak point was himself who had become trash because his Meridians had been damaged could only hold back his anger with tightly clenched hands.

The light that saw Wu Linyan was able to control his high emotions and ego made the light-bodied Hermit Spirit feel amazed.

“You have a strong mentality and great determination so I decided to help you!” the Spirit of the Hermit said in a flat voice.

“I recovered your damaged Meridians and made you my Disciple!” speak the Spirit of the Hermit with confidence.

Wu Linyan who heard that he still had a chance to become a Cultivator and avenge him to those who had been evil to him opened his eyes wide.

Wu Linyan who saw the changes in his surroundings that were like being in another world and no longer in a dark vacuum became confused.

“To-Darkness it disappeared.... Where am I now? Have I moved dimensions again?” wu Linyan asked with a look of eyes that continued to observe the changes in the surroundings.

Wu Linyan who then saw the light that was in front of him slowly turned into a woman holding a fan in her hand could not hold her flat expression any longer.

“Si-Who are you? A-are you a ghost?” wu Linyan asked with a scared face.

The Hermit Spirit who was likened to a ghost as the Spirit of Heaven who died curiously became annoyed and then hit Wu Linyan with his fan very hard.

Wu Linyan who felt pain at the top of his head was grimacing in pain while holding the top of his head with both hands.

“Basic child not self! Who calls a ghost?” shouted the Spirit Hermit with an annoyed face.

“I'm not a ghost. I am the Spirit Hermit who has reached the Immortal body!” resolute Spirit Hermit with an annoyed face.

“But my body is currently severely injured due to the attack of bad guys but I managed to defend my life with special technique of separating the spirit from the body so that I could ask for help to heal my body!” reveal the Spirit of the Hermit with hands folded in the chest.

Wu Linyan who found no difference from the story said by the Spirit Hermit secretly still considered the Spirit Hermit to be a Ghost thus making the Spirit Hermit even more upset.

“Basic child br*ngsek! Is my punch still not hard enough to hit your head?” satirize the Spirit Hermit with one hand raised with an angry facial expression.

Wu Linyan who felt a threat that would endanger his life quickly apologized.

“Ti-No! D-don't do that! Your first blow is already very painful, if you do it again I might fall unconscious for the second time!” said Wu Linyan with a clear face.

The Spirit Hermit who realized that there was no point in arguing with Wu Linyan decided to make a pact with Wu Linyan.

“Hah! Never mind. It is useless for me to be mad at you!” speak the Spirit of the Hermit with a resigned face.

“You are the Son of that man. Dragon Blood and Phoenix Blood flowed within your body and I believe you can definitely help me!” reveal the Spirit of the Hermit with a sharp eye.

Wu Linyan who did not understand the intent of the Spirit Hermit's words could only open his eyes wide withstanding his curiosity.

The Spirit Hermit who had found a Partner to help him achieve his goal had also made an offer to Wu Linyan.

“Hey, Son! I will give you one chance to become a Cultivator again!” speak the Spirit of the Hermit with a serious face.

“I will restore your damaged Meridians as before even knock your Meridians to the maximum extent and make you the strongest Cultivator in these three Mainlands but..!” said the Spirit Hermit who suddenly stopped his sentence at the end.

“But I want you to help me find my body and heal it so that my Spirit can return to my body!” speak the Spirit of the Hermit with a straight forward look.

Wu Linyan who had no idea how difficult his life in the future would be if he accepted the Spirit Hermit's offer made Wu Tang make a thoughtless decision.

“I'm ready! I am willing to accept this agreement as long as I can take revenge on those people, heal my Grandpa and Mother and find my Father and Uncle. Then whatever I'll do!” wu Linyan said confidently.

The Spirit Hermit who was amazed by Wu Tang's determination smiled with satisfaction and gave a final warning before he actually helped Wu Tang.

“Are you sure to accept my offer because your path after this will never be easy? You should try ten times more than before and the pain of forming your damaged Meridians will make you think it is better to die!” speak the Spirit of the Hermit without pause.

“I've made a decision and I'll never change it! I will take any risk to be able to return everything to how it was!” wu Linyan firmly with a strong determination.

The Hermit Spirit who was very satisfied with Wu Tang's reply used the three-quarters of his strength present to form Wu Linyan's body.

“Alright! I'll start now but whatever the outcome depends on whether you succeed or not!” the Spirit of the Hermit.

“If you manage to restore your Meridians then I will accept you as my Disciple and I will help you become the strongest Cultivator!” shouted the Spirit Hermit whose voice slowly disappeared.

Wu Linyan who saw a bright light enter his body also felt pain all over his body.

Wu Linyan who kept trying to endure the pain slowly but surely felt his cold Meridians become warm and the thirteen Meridian points that were originally only able to open seven were now slowly one by one.

“Aarrrgghhh!! Aarrghhh! Aaaarrgghhh!”

Wu Linyan who couldn't endure the pain fell unconscious as the thirteen Meridians opened perfectly to make the last Wu Linyan return with a new Meridian.

“Aaaarrgghhh!”
