Grand Fate: El Muerto
Prologue
On a clear morning, the sun shines brightly above the sky. The wind was gracefully blowing through the sidelines of the trees in the city park. The sunlight reaches the window of Gaki's house, he wakes up and sits on his bed. Gaki glanced at the wall clock attached to the door of his room, it showed 09:30.
"Hour 9... 9:30, half ten. I seem to be late.", said Gaki slowly. He tries not to panic, Gaki takes his bag lying next to his mattress, he walks slowly out of the house and goes to the academy.
The Academy Building is 2 kilometers from Gaki's house, and he is already late for his first class which starts at 08:00, but it is Gaki's custom not to care about anything, he does what he wants, and when he says it, he really does.
At 10:15, Gaki arrived at the Academy, people were already wandering around there, already in time for a break. Gaki goes to his room, Shin who is the class leader is waiting for Gaki in front of the classroom door. "You're late again for the umpteenth time, on the same day and the same subjects, ck ck," Shin shook his head. "What's your problem with that, which will be my own punishment," Gaki did not look at Shin in the slightest, he entered the classroom without paying any heed to Shin's words. "That damn kid...".
Gaki sat in his chair located at the back, right in front of the classroom bookshelf. Gaki picked up the biggest book behind him, the title of the book was 'The Egyptian King, Tutankhamun'. Gaki began to read the book carefully. Shin slowly walked closer to Gaki, he took a chair and sat down beside Gaki. "So you're interested in King Tut? You're smarter than I thought" Shin chuckled. "You've always said that for 3 years, I've had enough of what you've said" Gaki turned his back on Shin.
Shin was still sitting next to Gaki, and he read the book carefully. "Hey, I haven't finished reading the page yet," Shin tried to turn the page, "enough, Shin, enough." Gaki begins to get emotional with Shin's behavior, standing up and slamming the book on his desk. Shin was immediately startled and stood up, the other students turned to the sound. "You, you..... YOU'RE!...." Gaki looked at Shin, and he went out of class. "The boy..." Shin put the book into its place.
Gaki was sitting in the academy garden, he looked limp, his hair was a mess, he was being overwhelmed with anger. A disciple walked slowly, he sat down beside Gaki. "Konnichiwa," the student greeted Gaki while patting him on the shoulder. "Keep your hand away from me," Gaki looked at the student with a sharp look, "Ah. okay.," he took his hand off Gaki's shoulder. The Great Bell rang, a sign of class time re-starting, Gaki stood up and walked back to class. Gaki was sitting in his chair, Shin was no longer beside Gaki's chair, he had already moved to his seat in front of the class. The study time had already begun, but no Master had yet entered, until a student entered the classroom, he walked calmly into the classroom, picking up a chalk lying near the blackboard, he said, he wrote a familiar word to Gaki, "Eden, my name is Eden, greetings all," the boy waved his hand,

"Looks like you're quite alert, yeah," Someone appeared behind Gaki, when he looked back, that person had disappeared, instead of panicking, Gaki let out a small laugh. "So that's your Grim yes... it becomes a shadow..," the black shadow stopped in front of Gaki, and someone came out of the shadow, his body was dashing and tall, his hair long covered his face, and he was, he used Montsuki, a type of kimono used by men. "Yes... You seem to be right. But you're not quite right yet." the man smiled slightly under his long hair, forming horses, "My grim is, Switch, he's a, I can exchange my position for anything, and all you see is that I swapped with my shadow, AhahahHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!," the man laughed loudly, "ah. sorry, I am too proud of my Grim," the man stood still and stood up straight. As his spirit returned to silence, Gaki stayed in place, he was still in the horse stance position, "Dojo?," that was all he had in mind at the moment.
Gaki returns to his house, Gaki throws his bag into the room, he takes a towel and goes to the bathroom to clean himself. "Dojo?, I've never heard of it, as I say around here there is no dojo....," Gaki muttered, "Grim that guy... Grim level A, Switch...." Gaki looked at himself in the mirror, he sighed.
Gaki returns to his room, he sits on his bed staring at a map of the world in his room, the map of the world showing the traces of important tragedies in the world, Gaki again reminded himself of his purpose so far, looking for the strongest Grim user, the Elemental Grim user.

Gaki, a young boy who has the goal of defeating the gods to become the strongest person, is always looking for where the gods are. Shin, the class leader from Gaki knowing his purpose, once offered help for Gaki to search for the god, but Gaki refused with his selfishness.
Shin, a class leader, is also the chairman of the academy's executive group called "VOXX SQUAD", commonly referred to as "Voxx". The group consisted of 7 people, headed by Shin, and the representative was Han. Voxx only does the tasks that the academy orders, such as conducting events, submitting proposals, and more, but Voxx has more potential than that.

Modern times kill many dojos, thousands of dojos are closed because there are no enthusiasts, even the famous san-biki no tora dojo around the world is closed because the interest decreases with the times, people prefer to train in a sports hall in the middle of the city rather than a dojo located in the mountains.
In the end, Gaki decides to look for the dojo himself, but when he is ready to leave, the door of his house is knocked by someone. Gaki walked towards the door of his house, the sound of knocking was getting louder, Gaki also opened the door of his house, in front of the door there was someone standing upright, he smiled at Gaki, "hello, how are you," it was Shin.
"What do you want to do here? I don't have time to play with that stupid group of yours" Gaki said with a sinister look at Shin. "No, I just felt like you were looking for something, did you go back to looking for the God?, hahaha," Shin chuckled, "enough," Gaki closed the door again, "YOU'RE LOOKING FOR A DOJO RIGHT," Shin shouted, Gaki's movements stopped, he reopened the door, "you're looking for a dojo right," Shin smiled slightly, "where do you know about it," Gaki said, "Ahh.... How to explain it yes.." Shin scratched his neck with a small smile, "don't have to linger, explain," Gaki began to raise his tone. "I followed you back then using the sunflower," Shin smiled slightly.
"Already expected, so where is the prayer," Gaki did not give any expression, he remained focused on the topic of conversation, "your expression is as I expected," Shin sighed, "I actually don't know where the do-," as Shin had not finished speaking, Gaki went straight into his house and closed the door. "Tungg-, HEY, I CAN HELP YOU FIND HIM!," Shin yelled at Gaki who was already inside the house, but Gaki did not give any answer.
Shin turned around and walked away from Gaki's house, while Gaki again got ready to find the dojo by himself. After his preparations were finished, he began to look for the dojo.
Gaki's destination is Mount Fuji, Japan's highest mountain west of Tokyo. Gaki goes in a taxi, during the trip Gaki looks at the map, looking for any possibility the dojo is coming from. There is actually another reason why Gaki chose Mount Fuji as his first destination, it is because he knew someone who lived there, he was Ryo Minamoto, he was a teacher and guard when Gaki was a child, Gaki said, a friend of Gaki's parents, Ryo saves Gaki from a past tragedy.
After a long journey, Gaki arrives at the climbing route, marking several places on the map, as he himself does not remember exactly where Ryo's house is. Gaki begins his climb when the sun is just above, he climbs alone, without anyone's company.
An hour since Gaki started climbing, there were no signs of houses or residences at all, just the sole marks of the feet of the climbers' shoes. Gaki continued his ascent, ignoring the sounds of birds and animals muttering. Gaki continued to climb, occasionally stopping for a drink and taking a break. The sunlight is still very hot, Gaki still has a lot of time to search for Ryo's house, until finally Gaki hears the sound of someone shouting.
Many things were on Gaki's mind, about the Elemental, the dojo, and the sound of the man's screams. Two hours Gaki had climbed, he was getting closer to the top, he arrived at a check point provided by nature lovers organization. Gaki rested for a while, there was no one there, only Gaki. The person's face was already shattered, like being hit by a blunt object, he was wearing Montsuki, the same type of clothing that the long-haired person used, which distinguished the person before Gaki currently had no hair, which was the same type of clothing that the person with the long hair was wearing, or bald. Gaki took a wide leaf which he used to cover the corpse, and gave the final tribute of ojigi. Gaki is looking for something that can help him uncover this mystery, he walks into a deeper forest, but he does not find anything even footprints.
Gaki decided to call the police, he waited at the Check Point Tent, 15 minutes later, the rescue team came using helicopters and offroad cars. Gaki is interrogated about the suspected murder case, Gaki explains everything he knows, until he is shocked by a piece of evidence told by a member of the rescue team, he said they found a building.
The rescue team immediately went to the place mentioned, Gaki was detained so as not to participate in this investigation, he settled at Check Point while waiting for the latest news from the rescue squad. A member of the rescue team who was waiting beside Gaki, was on the phone and given orders to take Gaki to the place while carrying medical equipment, they both went to the place where they were told.
Gaki was surprised by a building that had been destroyed, the place was burned, some parts were destroyed like a bulldozer, the former exactly like the corpse of the previous person. Not only that, in the place there are many corpses lying. There were some pieces of evidence that the rescuers found, such as swords, clothes, some ancient paper scrolls, but some had already been charred in flames, there was also a box containing letters, and there was also a box that contained letters, Gaki is informed of the contents of the letter, and the contents are :

Eden never gives up until Gaki wants to talk to him, even he asks Shin for help who has been friends with Gaki longer, but still does not succeed.
In fact, in the entire academy there were only 3 people who were close to Gaki and could get him to talk, Shin, who was his old friend, Ray, who was also a quiet person, and Noah, who was also a quiet person, he is also an old friend of Gaki's. Noah and Gaki used to communicate with each other, even Gaki can look happy when with Noah, but it is unfortunate that he has died due to an accident that hit him last year. Gaki is very mysterious in the academy, he always comes late in some classes, but he still gets an A in all subjects, although he will not be able to reach the first rank due to his delay. Shin often invites Gaki to play with other children, but Gaki always acts indifferent, even sometimes insulting them, Gaki also once made Yuu angry because Gaki insulted Voxx.

In the middle of the night, Ryo still wakes up in the living room, he cleans his dusty katana, suddenly a blaze appears from the kitchen, Ryo immediately runs into Gaki's room on the second floor and jumps out of the window, intending to go back inside to save his grandfather Gaki, but unfortunately, the fire has spread throughout the house, grandfather's body was found lifeless after it was charred in flames. The guilty Ryo leaves Gaki, leaving Gaki in front of an orphanage, and giving only monthly money to Gaki. Initially Ryo intends to harakiri to pay for his mistake, but he undoes his intention because Gaki will have trouble continuing his life without an escort by his side. Ryo has always been there for Gaki, but he never again resurfaces himself, he has even disappeared completely when Gaki enters the academy, as he believes Gaki can continue his own life.
Ryo himself is actually dead, he did harakiri in his house on Mount Fuji, the intention of Gaki climbing the mountain and looking for Ryo's house is to give a salute and a final farewell. Gaki himself had actually forgotten the face of Ryo, and Gaki had never seen Ryo using his Grim, he only saw Ryo using his katana for self-defense.
In Japan, using Grim in public is an offence if it crosses the prescribed limit, except for self-defence, in contrast to western countries which allow the majority of people to use the Grim as freely as possible.
There are several types of Grim recognized by the World Protection Organization or WPO, an institution that researches the matter of Grim and how to deny it. Grim types are divided into 4, Physical, Magical, Biological, and Chemical. Physical type is a Grim that can manipulate the shape, but can return to the original form, for example Grim that strengthens the body. Magical, a type of Grim that is beyond the normal level, such as teleporting, and summoning a Chimaera. This type of biology is called the lowest level, because what is classified in this type is only like long-lived, easy to memorize, but there is one Grim that is most powerful in this type, namely regeneration. Chemical type, rarely anyone has it because Grim is a malfunction of Grim physical type, but they can have greater strength, there are also some Grim pure chemical type, such as Mutations, such as, and take out the laser.
Grim is also divided into several classes, sorted from highest A, B, C, D, E, F. Each class is determined from the expertise of its users, because some Grim can evolve to be stronger if users can control the Grim.
Since 2007, there are 200,000 people who do not have Grim around the world, and continue to decrease, until now there are only 1000 people left around the world who do not have Grim. Researchers say that the gene that carries the Grim remains, but they cannot activate it because of its imperfect soul.

On Thursday, Gaki did not have lunch class, he decided to go to the supermarket to buy food for the next few days. Gaki left in a taxi, when he got there, he went straight to the food room. Gaki was glimpsed by several people because he used a black jacket and his high posture which made him suspected of being a criminal. While shopping, Gaki sees someone grabbing a snack and putting it in his pocket, Gaki knocks the person out and pulls his hand. "What are you doing," the man looked up at Gaki, he slightly dipped up because his body was shorter, "return that thing," Gaki stared intently at the person, "THIEF, "STOLEN, THE PERSON IN FRONT OF ME IS A THIEF," the person suddenly shouted to another customer by calling Gaki a thief, some people immediately ran over to Gaki and beat him. Gaki remained in his position, he still held the man's hand, although he was beaten by many people, Gaki did not seem to feel any pain, Gaki pulled the thief's zipper and some of his stolen goods fell, "I'm not the thief." Gaki who was about to get angry again sighed, people were now staring at the real thief, some guards came to the crowd and secured the thief, Gaki was compensated with some groceries.
After finishing shopping, Gaki intends to go straight home, but as the clock still shows 16.15, Gaki undoes his intentions and switches to a short break at the supermarket. He went to one of the cafes there, he bought a cup of Cappucino and a packet of Sushi. Gaki enjoyed his meal for some time, until he listened to the sound of broken glass.
People were running around, some were screaming hysterically, Gaki was looking at the main door there was a big car breaking in, some people were protecting themselves using their respective Grim, but Gaki is still acting calm in the cafe that even the salesman has run away. "Hey boy, give me all your money" someone pointed Gaki with a rifle from behind, Gaki still behaved indifferently, as soon as the gun was smashed to pieces, he said, Gaki stood up and turned to look at the person who was shocked and frightened, "why....why did this weapon get destroyed.....," the person fell down looking at Gaki with fear, "Why?! WHY??!! BECAUSE I AM THE STRONGEST," Gaki's right hand let out a black flame that gathered together and formed a sword, he pointed it at the person, "silence and enjoy."
