Jeff stiffened his jaw when he heard Cindy's confession. Now the truth has been revealed, regret is definitely what Jeff feels at this time. If only he had not burned emotions first, and investigated first, none of this would have happened. Again, the regret comes at the end.

"Jeff, I'm sorry and I regret everything. I was wrong, I was stupid and sinful to all of you." Cindy broke her tears and hiccupped. He truly regretted his stupid actions.

"What with words of regret and apology, you can repeat everything? No, right? Do you know Cindy if your actions not only hurt me and Sapphira, but also hurt her family. What would happen if the Safiras knew that you were the mastermind of all this mess! You are like an enemy in a blanket!" jeff's words sounded flat and very cold, also full of affirmation. Although she saw for herself that she showed remorse, guilt, and apologized sincerely, she could not forgive.

Cindy was struck by an overwhelming fear. True what Jeff said, if the Safira family knew all this would surely be disappointed and also hurt to him.
