Guardian Stone

Guardian Stone
Oriental Boy

Black clouds covered the entire horizon, shackling the rays of the sun. The wind blew against the shady trees with the rigors. The temperature around began to decrease, the cold began to feel all over the body.

"Fa! As soon as you enter, the storm is coming!" the call surprised the young man who had been standing still for changes to occur in the surrounding world. The young man immediately packed his martial equipment and entered the house, just as the middle-aged man had ordered.

"It's weird.... Isn't today's weather forecast sunny, huh?" afan said, the oriental-faced young man wiped the sweat that splashed across his face.

"Hmm.. It seems like this is not a good sign, something bad has happened out there." said the middle-aged man who called Afan earlier.

"What is true? Uncle Lie was there" Uncle Lie looked at Afan with a sharp look, then looked out the window, looking at the darkening sky.

"Quick close all windows and doors!" uncle Lie immediately closed the window nearby. As Uncle Lie had expected, a storm started to come. A strong wind hit the south singkawang region this afternoon, followed by the roar of rain and lightning flashes struck the alternating silir.

"BZAARR!!!" The sound of lightning boomed throughout space, adding to the gripping atmosphere in the storm.

"A very great storm" Afan sipped his warm tea.

"It's gonna last a long time...."

"Looks, Uncle"

The storm finally stopped when the twilight sun replaced the night, Afan saw his yard. The yard of his house looks torn apart after the storm, some of the house equipment that was outside scattered in no direction, as well as branches of broken trees scattered in the yard of his house.

"The storm has gone....." Afan was upset.

Lie woke up, his body soaked in sweat that poured all over his body. His face looked anxious, he glanced at the wall clock at the corner of room 01.30. Lie rubbed the sweat on his face, then rushed out of his room, Lie thrust his feet towards the main door. In his right hand a flashlight emanated, Lie down the stairs leading to a temple at the top of the hill. After getting tired of climbing dozens of stairs Lie stood to regulate his breathing that had been driven since. His gaze leads towards the temple. The temple which was usually only illuminated by dim lights now looked bright, red light emanated from inside the temple, Lie's brows furrowed.

"True to my guess, something is not right" Inner Lie, rushed to open the door of the temple. Lie's gaze was fixed on the Buddha statue before him, it was the statue that was emitting a red light from under his body.

Lie grabbed the thumb from the hand of the Buddha statue and then slightly twisted it

"YREKK!!"

A crack opened from behind the floor, just below the Buddha statue. Lie put his hand in the crack, grabbed something in there. A medium-sized wooden box was now in both hands. The wooden box was what he got from behind the gap, the wooden box was filled with beautiful carvings typical of china and the wooden box was the one that had since emitted a red light that illuminated the entire temple. Lie then brought the wooden box and kept it in a safe place.

Cool air still enveloped this morning, Afan looks busy cleaning equipment and garbage branches scattered trees in the yard. Yesterday's storm was really intense, some trees were uprooted or broken.

"Gee....Uncle Lie! In the morning I cooked something delicious!" afan exclaimed as soon as he reached the kitchen, rushed he prepared the tableware and prepared to eat his breakfast in the morning.

"Afan, after this I want to talk to you about something,"

"All right"

"Maybe this talk is a little long, so I need you to put your students away for practice"

"It seems like a serious conversation, well I'll let their parents know via text," Afan again devoured his breakfast voraciously.

"Defendant, it's time for you to do your real duty!" Afan looked at Uncle Lie seriously.

"This is the heirloom of your forefathers." Uncle Lie handed Afan a specially carved Chinese box. A square-eight hanger with the Ying and Yang emblem in the center made of red and black stone.

"You must take good care of this heritage, it will help and give you the strength to protect you and your loved ones in the future,"

Afan felt a strange feeling while holding onto the heirloom that Uncle Lie had given him, a warm feeling along with an extremely strong energy flowing through his body.

"This is not an indiscriminate thing.." Inward Afan.

"Have I explained if there are any questions?"

"No, uncle. I understand it!"

"Good! I've booked a ticket to Jakarta for tomorrow's departure, so get ready!"

"It's your allowance during your trip and this is Master Shin Law's address, he'll teach you everything you need,"

"Good Uncle!" exclamation Afan steady.

Afan recalled Uncle Lie's last words, when he was on the plane he was on. Afan stared out the window, looking at the vast expanse of ocean and clouds that looked like soft cotton.

"From here it will all begin....... My Adventure!"
