H-12: CATCH
HC - 05

This morning Gitta was still asleep. The sunlight entering through the window did not wake him up at all. Suddenly there was a clicking sound from the tablet. Gitta immediately got up with her messy hair. He opened the tablet.

Turns out the tracking device in Devan's ring is on. Gitta's heart was pounding. He froze for a moment when he saw the red dot move.

"Devan," muttered Gitta. The girl immediately got up and grabbed her jacket then rode her black sports bike towards the ARN office.

Gitta meets Rudi. "Devan's alive, I'm sure he's alive."

Rudi frowned looking at the red dot on Gitta's tablet. "There could have been someone who found Devan's ring and accidentally turned on his tracking device."

Gitta shakes. "I'm sure Devan is alive!"

"Don't you say yourself, you saw Devan's body being thrown from the 19th floor and then exploding and burning" Rudi said.

"It seems that time I was too scared to see Devan being shot several times by Vionna. I just realized that in Vionna's room there was Simon's body, too. Maybe Vionna deliberately tricked me by blowing up Simon's body and stupidly I thought it was Devan" Gitta said.

Rudi seemed to think. "Alright, let's just say your guess is true. Then Devan was still in Vionna's room. Don't you think Vionna's gonna kill him?"

Gitta was silent for a moment then shook her head. "I don't know."

"Devan's condition must have been very weak after being shot. Vionna must have killed him" said Rudi.

"But, what if Devan's still alive? He was in danger for saving me" cried Gitta.

"We will send people to look for him" Rudi said.

"Don't anyone else, send me back, '" said Gitta.

"You're being deactivated. You can't go anywhere" said Rudi.

"Sir." Gitta pleads.

"Gitta, return. You should rest. I know you're feeling pretty lost to Devan. I'm sorry" said Rudi.

Gitta returned to her house in a doldrums. He saw the tablet back. The girl frowned in surprise, as the red dot was heading out of New York City.

Gitta thought of the worst thing that could have happened to Devan. He bit his nails in panic.

Biggy came up to him and barked a little. Gitta looked annoyed at her dog. "Shut up!"

Biggy ran out of Gitta's room. The dog was afraid of him. Gitta grabbed her own hair. She cried again and again.

The next day, Gitta awakens to the sound of someone knocking on the door. The girl woke up and saw Biggy sleeping on the floor near her bed. Gitta felt guilty, because yesterday she snapped at him.

"Good boy, I'm sorry." Gitta rubbed Biggy's head then came out to open the door.

The girl was surprised to see Rudi disguised by using the clothes of an online motorcycle taxi driver.

"Package," said Rudi while giving a medium-sized box.

Gitta was eager to laugh seeing that his boss and senior looked ridiculous, but she held him back desperately.

"Oh, yes." Gitta immediately received the package. "Thank you."

After Rudi left, Gitta went into his house and laughed softly. The girl opened the box. Biggy seems to be awake. He ran towards Gitta and saw her employer opening the package. The dog was curious too.

It's a letter. Gitta frowning. "only this? That big box is just this?"

Gitta opened the letter.

"Gitta, you'll be reactivated. I'll wait for tomorrow at headquarters." Gitta let out a heavy sigh.

"Royce isn't home?" Gitta asked Royce's mother.

"Royce is leaving," the middle-aged woman replied.

Gitta bowed rubbing Biggy's head. "I'm sorry, Biggy. Take care of yourself, yes. Don't be naughty and make it hard for Mama Royce."

Gitta went to the ARN office. There he saw a man talking to Rudi. Seeing Gitta coming, Rudi invited her to sit down. Gitta sat next to a man she did not recognize at all.

"Gitta, he's Xander." Rudi introduced the man to Gitta.

They both shake hands.

"Alexander Geraldo" said the man. "You can call me Xander."

Gitta frowned after hearing the man's name. He felt he had heard that name.

"Brigitta Alyora, people used to call me Gitta."

Rudi glanced at Xander and Gitta alternately. He nodded his head. "From now on you're on a team."

"What?" It seems that Gitta is not happy with Rudi's decision. "I think it's better that I go there alone, don't involve anyone else. It's my personal business."

Xander looked at Gitta.

"It's not your personal business. This is ARN's business, Gitta. Besides your fiancee, Devan is also our member. This mission is also not only your mission, but the mission of all of us" Rudi said with emphasis.

Gitta did not dare to refute anymore. She's quiet. Xander turned his eyes away from Gitta. He nodded in understanding.

"We're gonna get Vionna, sir. If Devan is alive, we'll bring him back" Xander said.

Gitta got up from her seat then looked at Xander with a look of sadness. "Devan's alive, he's alive."

After saying that sentence, Gitta left Rudi's room while wiping her tears.

"He is like that sometimes. It is very difficult to control it" said Rudi.

"I understand his feelings" Xander said as he got up from his seat. "Excuse me, Sir. I'll catch up with the girl."

On the balcony of the office, Gitta looked down inside. She was crying. He was very worried about Devan. He did not want to lose an important person in his life again. First his mother then Zega and now he doesn't want that to happen.

Xander approached the girl. He stood next to her. "Gitta, I'm sorry."

There was no response from Gitta.

"Go back to Mr. Rudi's room. We have a meeting before we go to New York."
