HAIKAL WANTS TO GO HOME
Haikal

Haikal (15 years)

Haikal has since been diagnosed with autism, although he remains a jolly child. Haikal's life had always depended on medicine because of his weak body he was often sick and had to go in and out of the hospital.

Haikal was born into a simple family and had an older sister named Winda. Haikal's mother couldn't accept her son's situation being different from other children so she hated Haikal so much, haikal's father worked as a fishmonger in the market and Haikal's brother is currently in college and needs a large fee.

Haikal had a cute face, a sweet smile, and a gentle voice made many people anxious at him. Today it is not as usual Haikal did not go with his father to trade in the market because he was not feeling well.

''mother Kala laper''. Haikal

''Mother no more nyusulin father to the market". Sajut Winda is cynical, with the look of a gloomy face Haikal sitting in front of the kitchen door he has not eaten since morning, his mother and brother did not even let him eat.

''brother Kala laper". Haikal again spoke softly while holding his stomach which began to hurt because it held hunger.

''Woy is handicapped how many times have I told you not to call me brother! I'm disgusted to have adek like you've been disabled again!" Winda snapped at the innocent Haikal, Haikal did not really understand what the brother meant but he knew that his brother was angry at this time.

Haikal then moved and took a glass of water. "When drinking will be full later, if you have come home Kala asked you to make fried rice'' with innocence the child smiled and drank a glass of water that he held.

After drinking Haikal went into the room and hugged his beloved doll while staring out the window. "Uni (the name of Haikal's beloved doll) why does the same mother not love Kala? what was Kala wrong? Kala who is naughty or indeed the mother of the same brother does not like having Kala?" In that silence Haikal could only sit in contemplation.

"Mom did eat, didn't you?" ask Niko to the Goddess.

''not yet" said the cynical Goddess.

''not yet?! you know that Kala should not be late to eat he can be sick, if he is sick Father has no money to take him to the hospital. Last week, I had to sell my wedding ring to pay for my medical expenses". Niko

''Yes, it was my own father from the beginning, I told you we just put the child in the waiting but I did not want to! now this is how you want to wrong who?! mommy?!''. Goddesses

Niko kept quiet she rushed home without caring about the wife who called her. When she reached the house Niko immediately looked for the whereabouts of her little son but Haikal was asleep while hugging her doll.

''Allah forgive me, son, you must be laper yes dear'' Niko said while rubbing his little son's head. Haikal woke up and looked at Niko, instantly a smile was engraved on the plain face of the child.

''Mr. Kala laper stomach when sick sir, when already drinking a lot of water but still laper". Haikal

''Yes, I am sorry, my son, when you wait for a while I cook for kala". Niko

''Ma'am... I want fried rice". Haikal said with his innocent smile.
