A few months have passed, Rony and Vella officially divorced. Vella, who has never attended trial, hastened their divorce proceedings. Rony kept his promise, he did not want to accept money from the sale of his ex-wife's luxury home. He also still does not want to work in the legacy company of his father, fearing khilaf, that's one reason.
Rony completely changed, praying five times he never left. Life is simple and what it is becomes his choice. He also never paid attention to the few women who approached him. Rony just wants to focus on work and worship.
Rony is currently on holiday at the weekend, driving around in his two-wheeled vehicle alone. Enjoy the twilight on a long Saturday night. Until the sound of adzan maghrib sayup-sayup rang out.
Rony immediately sought a place of worship in order to pray together. Towards a small, clean and beautiful mosque in a village he passed by, Rony parked the bike in a place that was available. He immediately took ablution water and joined with the pilgrims.
After finishing the prayer, Rony sat on the terrace of the mushola. The handsome man with a typical Middle Eastern face was also the center of attention of residents who were passing through. Rony just smiled looking at those who were looking at him. He chose to wait in the mosque until the Adhan isya' reverberated, rather than at home alone.
Sounded by him, the voice of some women who learn to teach tilawati. Rony stood up and walked over and looked at them from behind the glass window. Seemed someone with an ayu and sweet face with a pink hijab, was guiding the women. His smile never escaped his face, making Rony feel his heart pounding suddenly.
"Sorry, Mas. Please don't peek at the women who are doing the work, it's rude." Someone rebuked Rony who was silently watching. He was shocked and immediately felt embarrassed and unwell.
"Oh, yes, sorry, sir. I don't mean anything, I also want to learn to teach like them. Is there a male teacher who can help me?" rony asked the man who had rebuked him.
"We just sit there, Mas," the man graciously invited. Rony followed in his footsteps. They sat on a wooden bench in the courtyard of the mosque.
"Call me Mr. Hashim. If you want to learn how to teach, I can help. I happen to also teach fathers who want to learn to teach here. Usually one week three times after maghrib prayer. For men, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, for women Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. If you want, just come starting next Monday," said Mr. Hashim.
"Thank God, thank you, Mr. Hashim. Just call me Rony. God willing after I get home from work, I will come straight here" said Rony happily.
"Mas Rony is married?" ask Mr. Hasyim.
"It's been, sir, but we've been separated" Rony replied truthfully.
"Oh, sorry, yes Mas. I didn't mean anything. It's just that if it is married, I just want to remind that the permission used to be the same as his wife if from the office here. Pity that his wife waited a long time."
"Yes, sir, it's okay, I understand," replied Rony.
"Don't be offended, yes, Mom, if I ask you something personal. I just keep the comfort of the mushola and the village here, Mas. I happen to be the Chairman of RT and also the chairman of this mosque" explained Mr. Hashim.
They also talked until Adzan isya' reverberated. Rony was delighted to meet the right person. Mr. Hasyim, a wise man, made Rony comfortable while talking to him.
Rony continued to tour the village in his second wheeled vehicle. He also plans to visit his sister. It has been a few weeks he did not go to Riko's house, all this time just asking for news through messages.
Rony stopped his two-wheeler when he saw a woman standing beside his bicycle. The atmosphere on the road is very quiet and dim, because it only relies on dim street lights.
"Sorry, why the bike?" ask Rony.
The pink-veiled woman looked at Rony. Highlight his shady eyes, making Rony's heart rustle. The woman paraded the ayu she saw in the mushola and now stands before her. His face looked even more attractive even in the dim light. His thin lips smiled and answered Rony's question politely.
"The tires are leaking, brother. From the mushola, it was okay."
"Your house is far away?" ask Rony.
"Lumayan, but it's okay to go far. Excuse me, yes, brother, I'm going home first." The woman soon passes, but Rony immediately blocks her.
"Wait on! Let me drive you home, I'll accompany you to walk" Rony said.
"I'm not a bad person, I don't mean anything. It's just that I can't bear to see a woman walking alone at night" Rony said.
"Alright, it's up to Brother," the woman replied.
"Oh, yes, introduce my name Rony." Rony introduced himself as he extended his hand. However, the woman immediately cupped both hands in front of her chest, making Rony pull his helping hand back.
"My name is Sarah Khairunnisa, just call me Sarah."
While guiding each vehicle, they walked hand in hand. Sometimes Rony invites Sarah to speak, removing the silence between them.
"Have you been teaching at Mushola?" rony asked and looked at the lady before him.
"Thank God, it's been two years. Rony's brother was praying at the mushola, right?" sarah answered with a straight forward look.
"Yes. You, you know what?" rony asked curiously.
"That's, Brother. Kak Rony's face is different from the faces of the people of this village. Moreover, there were many mothers who encouraged Brother, I became kepo and joined to see Rony who was sitting on the terrace. Uh .. sorry, yes, sister, don't mean anything, just curious." Sarah looked at Rony's face and smiled shyly.
"Aren't you afraid of me? We're meeting for the first time?" Rony was astonished, Sarah seemed to casually respond to all her questions.
"I'm not a coward, my brother has trained me to be a strong woman and not look weak. I have an older brother who may be the same age as Brother Rony but is ferociously half-dead. All the villagers here are afraid of him, brother. Therefore God willing I am safe here, no one dares to bother me" replied Sarah explaining everything.
"That's it, huh? It's only fitting that your attitude is ordinary even though we never met. Thank God, you have a great sister" said Rony who began to feel admiration for Sarah. A woman who looks meek, but firm when talking.
"Thank God, we're just alone. He was my only brother, who loved me very much and always protected me."
They didn't feel like they were in one of those simple houses. Bamboo fenced house with a spacious yard and full of flower plants.
"It's over, brother. This is my house, please come by. There's my sister at home" Sarah said kindly.
"Can? Isn't your brother angry that there's a guy who's taking you home?" rony asked doubtfully.
"No, at least Rony was interrogated." Sarah answered Rony's question while holding back a laugh.
"Interesting!"
"Come, Brother."
Rony followed Sarah who had walked into the house. Sarah invited Rony to sit in a guest chair made of wood. He called his brother who was playing with his cell phone in his room.
A handsome man of high stature and strapping, following Sarah's steps to meet Rony who had stood up to greet him. His jaw suddenly hardened as both of his eyes looked at the male face before him. He immediately approached Rony with emotion.
Bugh!!
"Basic playboy! Don't bother my sister!"
