Chp 14: Intrusion

Today Ezra was off duty for some reason, so he contacted Su Fei through the phone number he had given before.

"Where are you now?" ask Ezra without further ado.

[Why indeed?] replied Su Fei who was hesitant to tell her whereabouts just like that.

Ezra let out a long sigh and then said resignedly, "We should meet, so tell me where you are now. I'll see you."

Su Fei thought for a moment before telling her whereabouts.

[I'm in the shopping center of Beijing city.]

Su Fei's voice sounded softly as she said that, so Ezra was made a little confused by her but before he could ask, Su Fei had already cut him off first.

[I'll tell you when you get here.].

"Then wait for me" said Ezra, then drove to the shopping center in Beijing.

The trip took about half an hour because Ezra was driving his car with speed.

After arriving there directly Ezra entered the shopping place or the big mall.

People passed by in that place until they filled a large shopping center, making Ezra a little confused to find Su Fei in that place because it was very crowded and noisy.

But the initially noisy place was getting more noisy and crowded when some girls shouted to see Ezra coming.

They thought that Ezra was an artist because of his looks, so they flocked to take pictures with Ezra.

Ezra made a little hassle, but suddenly a hand immediately patted his shoulder from behind which made Ezra become alert.

"Let's just me."

"Su Fei?" said Ezra looking at the person who patted his shoulder.

The woman did not look like Su Fei because she was doing a disguise, but if it was noticed better then it was indeed Su Fei.

"Right, I'm Su Fei. We'd better get to a quieter place first before we talk."

Su Fei led Ezra away from the crowd of girls to one of the more quiet and quiet clothing stores than before, where Su Fei immediately removed her disguise before speaking to Ezra.

"I'm watching one of the people from the criminal organization who's the target of my organization, so can you be less conspicuous?"

"Sure." replied Ezra confidently which made Su Fei sigh softly.

"It is impossible that you are not striking with your current appearance." Su Fei said before his gaze was sidetracked on a black Hoodie.

"I'll make you different." continued Su Fei then took the black Hoodie along with some other clothes and accessories.

A while later Ezra returned before Su Fei with the clothes he had chosen.

"What about my appearance?" ezra asked a little doubt because the clothes he was wearing were arguably quite fashionable, namely a direct black hoodie with a hood, jeans, a black mask, and sunglasses.

"Perfectly, with this you will not attract the attention of the girls like before anymore" Su Fei said giving a single thumbs up.

Although for Ezra how to dress is a little strange, but for large countries such as China who have a unique fashion style Ezra appearance is common.

Su Fei opened his phone displaying a map of the shopping center, there was a red dot indicating his target this time.

"Then let's move!" said Su Fei who was ready with her disguise.

Ezra nodded as he walked following Su Fei.

Actually the purpose of Ezra contacting Su Fei was not to help him take care of the organizational matters that had nothing to do with him, but to inquire where cultivators usually gathered.

But considering that Su Fei was also dealing with an evil organization that might have something to do with cultivators made Ezra want to help her.

Ezra and Su Fei discovered the existence of his enemy, a middle-aged man in a black suit and a suitcase in his hand.

"What's he doing in an antique shop?" ezra asked to see the target entering an antique shop.

"Maybe he wants to smuggle things or so." replied Su Fei trying to guess it.

A short while later the man walked out of the antique shop without carrying his luggage, so Su Fei's guess about that person wanting to smuggle things was indeed correct.

"I'll catch that guy while you walk into that antique store"

"No, let me catch that guy" said Ezra cutting off Su Fei's words.

"Are you sure?"

"Don't underestimate my ability." said Ezra as he walked after the man who had gone far.

"Get yourself!" su Fei shouted before Ezra actually went away.

Ezra followed the man's path while keeping his distance from him, slowly but surely the man headed towards the large mall parking lot.

That person was completely unaware of Ezra following him due to Ezra's excellent hiding ability.

When he got to the car park, the man approached a white sedan while taking his car keys, he entered his car keys intending to open the car door.

But along with that Ezra was already right behind him and banged the man's head into the car glass many times until he fainted.

The sound of car alarms rang out, making a very clear commotion in the parking lot. Ezra sensed some security officers start coming to the parking lot, so he immediately entered the white sedan while carrying the fainted man.
