Heart's Owner

Heart's Owner
Pilgrimage

That morning Jonathan made a pilgrimage to his mother's tomb, which is not far from his home.

He plucked the grass that had started to rise around his mother's grave.

Jonathan sat down beside his mother's grave, then stroked a tombstone bearing his mother's name.

"Sorry Jo Ma, Jo has reneged on Jo's promise to protect Ratna!" Jonathan began to shed his tears.

"Jo has known Ratna since she was little Ma, Jo doesn't know what it's like to be in love, Ratna is for Jo a little friend, a little sister, and that's the usual feeling Jo's been feeling all along!" said Jonathan.

The man started rubbing his face which had now been soaked by tears. She cried. Pouring his heart out in front of the grave of the mother.

"Jo apologizes to Mama, if Jo has failed Mama, Jo has already ... fallen in love with a girl, but it's not Ratna Ma!" Jonathan could no longer contain his feelings.

"Is Jo wrong, with the feelings Jo is experiencing right now? A difficult feeling to describe with words, Jo was tormented by this dilemma Ma!" jonathan's tears broke in the silence of the tomb.

Suddenly, someone touched his shoulder from behind.

Jonathan looked. Binsar was already standing behind Jonathan with a smile.

Then he sat down beside Jonathan.

"Who are you in love with, Jo?" ask Binsar.

"Eh, that's Bang, same ... college friends in Jakarta, I used to really dislike it, but over time, somehow my heart always looked for it!" said Jonathan.

Binsar let out a long breath.

"We never know Jo, where our hearts are going! From a young age you were used to Ratna, because you used to it, you felt bland to her!" binsar.

"So I have to how to Bang?" ask Jonathan.

"You make your choice from now on, you must be as firm as Ratna about how you feel!" answer Binsar.

"Already Bang! Ratna already knows how I feel, but, what about her parents who are already in agreement with my parents?" ask Jonathan again.

"Say it frankly!" sahut Binsar's.

"I'm going to hurt a lot of people!"

"That's a risk you have to take, Jo, the choice is yours!" Binsar.

"I feel guilty with Mama, maybe she's sad right now, seeing me like this!" muttered Jonathan.

"Here Jo, let's go, I'll buy you a meal outside, not tomorrow you're back in Jakarta?" ask Binsar.

"Yes Bang, Monday I have to go to work! If I'm truant, I could get fired!" jonathan Sahut.

They walked out of the tomb.

Jonathan and Binsar buy food outside and return to Jonathan's house.

Binsar accidentally stays at Jonathan's house to accompany him.

When Jonathan was looking for important letters, suddenly a map fell from his mother's closet drawer, Jonathan then took it and opened the contents of the map.

His eyes were wide open as he read the contents of the covenant letter.

"Bang Binsar!!" call Jonathan.

In a hurry Binsar came to Jonathan to his late mother's room.

"What the hell is Jo? You found Karun's treasure??" ask Binsar.

"Not Bang! Try Bang Binsar read this!!" Jonathan pointed to the inscription in the letter.

"Oh my God, so your mom owed Ratna Jo a debt? Here's a new letter, see the date, a month before your mother died!" exclaim Binsar.

It says that his mother Jonathan was in debt for many years, for Jonathan's educational expenses, in exchange for Jonathan having to work on Pak Purba's estate, or marry Ratna, for his education, because Ratna's parents know that Ratna loves Jonathan.

"I just found out Bang, if Mama has a debt of 300 million with the Ratna family, why don't Mama tell me, it's appropriate for Mama to order me to marry Ratna, it was simply because Mama didn't want me to find it hard to pay off her debts!" jonathan in shock.

"Relax Jo, we're talking with a cool head, you don't get carried away!" sahut Binsar.

"Did Ratna know about this?" ask Jonathan.

"Where do I know?" sahut Binsar's.

"Bang, take me to Old Om's house, I want to talk to them!" Jonathan.

"Don't rush Jo! Think of Ratna's feelings!" timpal Binsar's.

"Ratna was not wrong, her parents were wrong, making me their debt-redeemer!" exclaim Jonathan.

"Prophe Jo, maybe because you're expensive to them, everyone in this village knows, you're educated, you're handsome, a lot of women are after you, Purba Omba stole the start first, he said, so you can fall into his daughter's hands!" binsar.

Jonathan laid his body on the bed of his late mother. His mind is really upset.

In the late afternoon, Jonathan and Binsar ride a motorcycle to Ratna's house.

"eeh ... Jo, where were you waiting from noon to? Come on in Jo! A ratnaa!! This is your brother coming, you get out of your room!!" yell Aunt ancient.

Ratna appeared with her pale face.

"You are Ratna!! Why a little dandan?? Your brother's time is cool once you're so cute? Change clothes there!!" Ancient Aunt pushed Ratna's body back into her room.

"I'm not long Auntie!" said Jonathan.

"You don't mind Jo, this is your future home too, if there's you, Ratna's happy, if you're not around, she's locked up in her room!" ancient Aunt Cetus.

Suddenly the Old Man appeared from behind.

"Well, the future ghost has come, Jo, later if you marry Ratna, your palm oil plantation manages it!" said Om Purba while sitting in a chair in front of Jonathan and Binsar.

"But Om ..."

"Have you no doubt, you're a smart Jo, surely in your hands, my plantation will advance!" the Word of Old Om.

An ancient aunt came with two cups of hot coffee.

Shortly after, Ratna appeared from her room already with neat clothes and a little polish on her face.

Then he sat down beside Old Om.

"I heard, tomorrow you have to go back to Jakarta?" tanya Om Purba.

"Yes, I have to get back to work!" jonathan Sahut.

"From you're working with people who rely only on salary, you better help Om manage the vast Om plantation!" tawar Om Purba's.

"But it's not my passion Om, I've taken college in Jakarta, I want to be a developed and educated person, know the outside world, not to be a frog in a shell!" obviously Jonathan.

Old Om and Ancient Aunty Nodding their heads.

"Maybe, as long as you ask my daughter soon, I don't like to see her sad away from you!" said Om Purba.

All who were there gasped to hear the words of the Ancient Om.

"Om, Auntie, tell me how much my Mama owes to your family, I promise to pay it off as long as you don't put me back!" Jonathan's.
