At 8 pm Dave and Nadira just arrived at their home after previously visiting Nadira's mother while carrying two packs of rice for them. Nadira is happy because he finally can let go of longing with both parents. They also seemed happy to see their son doing well at her husband's house.

When he came home, the whole family was having dinner with him in the dining room. Mama looks anxious when she sees her son and daughter-in-law just coming home.

“Where are you from, anyway? Mama is equally worried papa waiting for you to come home,” said the woman.

“Sorry yes, Ma. Nadira took Dave to the house of mom and dad, all bring dinner for them,” replied Nadira politely to the mother-in-law.

Nadira's eyes pinched seeing Dave getting bolder. That dirty smile looks shitty. Dave licked his lower lip and occasionally bit him with a pretty weird expression. This is the guy why, anyway? Crazy huh? Thought Nadira.

Dave looked at every curve of Nadira's face. Not pretty, her nose is not sharp, and she doesn't even have a thin cheek or blue eyeball like the girl she dreams of. “What?” nadira asked when Dave did not reveal his terms.

“You are sure, would you like to give me what I asked for?” dave's question made Nadira think further.

“Kalo I can, yes definitely I love,” replied Nadira innocently.

Dave laughed crisply. Nadira is so innocent and so easy to lie to. When he doesn't know what Dave means? What more does a husband ask his wife than to have sex? But Nadira doesn't realize that, and Dave doesn't ask for that right now. Realizing that Nadira is still in school, she must not ruin her life.

“Maybe my life now is not careless, unhappy, not harmonious or even meaningless. But I will try to bring back my old life, my simple but happy life, with the people I love. That's what Nadira wrote in a diary. Her only hope and dream right now is to separate from Dave, the husband she married without love. Even though he wasn't sure that he could leave Dave, he had to work on it. At least effort was something he could do at this moment.
