The past of Corlina.

Corlina is a researcher in a laboratory located in America. He's researching serum and antibiotics. The development of serum to offer venom from venomous snakes, especially King Cobra snakes, has almost achieved success.

Corlina kept seeing an aquarium in the lab that contained dozens of venomous snakes inside. He looked blankly while thinking of something. Suddenly a woman wearing the same lab coat with him came to him.

"Hey... Corlinas. What are you thinking?" the woman asked as she touched Corlina's shoulder from behind.

"Oos... Samanthas. You surprised me. It's okay. I was just thinking how I could perfect this serum and antibiotic to help the people out there" Corlina replied.

"Yes, you're absolutely right. You know Corlina? In Africa where wild animals can live freely is also a dilemma for the surrounding population. Because often the wild animals there attack the surrounding population. Maybe they are disturbed. No exception to poisonous snakes. Many people died from being bitten by poisonous snakes hiding behind their objects" Samantha told Corlina.

"really?? It's really sad to hear that. Yep.. Hope our serum is successful in the near future. I heard that our research is financed by the government and will be given to people who can't afford serum if bitten by a snake? So maybe this can be a new breakthrough to help others." said Corlina.

"Yes.. Hopefully." Samantha replied with a smile.

3 Months have passed. Some samples have been tested. But there has been no progress on serum since the increase 3 months ago. Corlina and the team had started to feel desperate.

"Will this serum work?" murmured Corlina after repeatedly seeing failure in these 3 months.

"Great!!" shouted Samantha who was in front of the aquarium containing poisonous snakes.

"What's Samantha doing?" corlina asked who saw her friend turn into a panic.

"U.. Less than 1. Where did the snake run? It can be dangerous because the fuzzy ones include very venomous snakes." explains Samantha who tried to recalculate many snakes in the aquarium.

"really? Lothawat! We have to be careful. Immediately check under the table and other equipment. Be careful friends." said Corlina warning everyone.

After searching the entire room, there was no sight of 1 viper that had escaped.

"Not seen either. Maybe we should ask the firefighters for help.let's call them immediately." said Corlina who again gave instructions.

The afternoon was changed to night. The search for venomous snakes was temporarily stopped because all laboratory access would be closed because it was already night.

"Corlina, you don't intend to go home?" ask Samantha who is getting ready to clean her luggage to go home.

"Oh yeah.. Samanthas. You go home first. I intend to check the serum sample that will be tested tomorrow morning. I want to ensure her success." replied Corlina who waved a sign to see you to Samantha.

Now Corlina lives alone in the laboratory. Corlina went to the refrigerator containing the serums to be tested the next day. As Corlina prepares to open the refrigerator door, a poisonous snake falls from the laboratory ceiling and lands on Corlina's arm preparing to open the refrigerator door.

"Ahhh.." cried Corlina who was shocked by the fall of a snake in her hand.

Corlina tried to calm down and hold back. He held his position and did not move in the slightest. There is an eye interaction between Corlina and the venomous snake that is none other than King Cobra snake with a large size.

"U.. Good snake... Good snake... Calmdownplease. Don't bite me. I'm often constipated, so my meat must not taste good at all." Said Corlina who was still trying to calm down with the precarious situation she was in at the moment.

But the snake did not want to move from Corlina's hand. (Maybe his hands are comfortable yes like being in his arms 🤭). Eye interactions still occur. Corlina finally felt tired after being in the same position for a long time. No one can help him because everyone has gone home from work. He can only rely on himself.

Corlina then slowly moved her hand back. The refrigerator door he was holding also slowly opened. Corlina was still trying to calm down in order to escape the poisonous snake's surveillance.

The King Cobra Snake that was in Corlina's hands still made no movement, only speechless and fixated on looking at Corlina. Once the refrigerator door opens after careful.. "Brukkk" Corlina pushed the snake's body into the freezer quickly and immediately shut it back down.

"Arghh.." lamented Corlina who after being noticed had been bitten by a venomous snake in the palm of her hand when pushing the snake into the refrigerator. Two holes visible snake bite marks drain Corlina fresh blood from the palm of the hand. Corlina tried to squeeze out the blood on her palm. Hope the snake venom comes out. But what power, snake venom is very powerful. Corlina began to feel symptoms due to the poison that seemed to start flowing into her body.

Corlina began to feel nausea, dizziness and shortness of breath. Corlina began to feel a sense of unease and dilemma. He wanted to take the serum in the freezer for himself, but the venomous snake was still locked in the freezer.

"If I open the closet. Will the snake bite me again? But if I don't take that serum. It is certain that I will be a corpse tonight." Corlina murmured with cold sweat all over the surface of her face.

Finally Corlina firmly imposes her actions whatever the risk. He immediately opened the refrigerator door and took out an antibiotic serum for the snake venom. When he was about to take it, the venomous snake was still giving one more bite on Corlina's arm.

"BABEO!" yelled Corlina in pain. But he finally managed to take the antibiotic serum and immediately closed the refrigerator door again.

Immediately after getting the antibiotic serum, Corlina directly injected into his body.

"Although I do not know if this serum will work or not? I have no other choice. Hopefully this serum can work properly." muttered Corlina who slowly lost her consciousness and fainted in the laboratory. What is the fate of Corlina? Will Corlina survive?
