Chapter 97 the departure of Maira

Sandi and the others were unwinded by the long journey they took, while Maira was alone in the room facing the window, she hoped that her struggle would pay off.

"so early in the morning what?" ask Maira.

"he went looking for something to eat because it was his job every day" the boy explained.

Maira thought for a moment then she said, "can you show me about the road that is beside the house I live in" Maira while showing it to the boy.

the boy was still looking for the direction Maira pointed out, "which one is miss...?" ask the boy.

Maira sighed, "come with me" asked Maira, the boy followed Maira.

"i mean this road" Maira said when she was in the place Maira meant.

"i'm sorry, not just anyone can go through this path only certain people can pass through it" explained the child.

"why?" ask Maira curiously.

the boy whispered, "because there's a ghost"

Maira's a little confused but she doesn't believe the boy's words, "so the people here haven't been there?" ask Maira.

"yes lady, that's a special way adults should not go there let alone my children"

Maira's still thinking how does she know what's in there," eh yeah.what's in there forest?" ask Maira again.

"you ask so many questions, miss, that's the road to the mountain" explained the boy again.

"so grandpa's walking here too?"ask Maira again.

the boy shook his head, "grandfather doesn't walk here, he goes the other way".

"do you want to try it?" ask the boy.

"he can't go there?"
