Nayra and That Youth

Heavy rain poured down on G city this morning. In class XB, Jonathan stood in front of the class staring at his students.

"Next week you will face a final semester. Prepare yourself." Said Jonathan while looking at his students.

"Good, sir."

"Then I'll see you tomorrow." Jonathan immediately breezed away leaving class XB.

The break bell rang loudly and the students scattered out of the classroom towards the school cafeteria.

The starving Dirga immediately drags Reihan to the school cafeteria, followed by Reiva and Nayra who are both starving. Reiva drags Nayra.

"Bi, order chicken noodles plus meatballs! Drink some warm tea!" Dirga raised his voice a octave.

"You didn't order for us?" Reihan asked annoyedly.

Dirga grinned and looked at the Rei brothers and Nayra who were standing behind him. "I forgot." Speak without sin.

"Auntie, we also want chicken noodles and warm tea." Reihan raised his voice. The handsome young man circulated his gaze to look for a seat.

"We'll just sit there." Reiva said when he saw an empty table containing seats for 4 people. Reihan immediately walked there with Nayra and Reiva. Before passing Reihan said, "Bring us our order too." Which succeeded in making Dirga shrivel.

Dirga brought a tray containing 4 servings of chicken noodles and their drinks each and returned the tray.

Vidya and her henchmen see Dirga eating with Reihan and 2 girls. In the style of a centile, the girl walked casually towards Dirga followed by her three friends.

Vidya sat down beside Dirga and hugged the young man's arm. The two friends looked at Reihan with sparkling eyes.

"Hi, Dirga~ On your birthday you will invite me, right~?" Suddenly Dirga felt nauseous when her nose smelled the smell of Vidya perfume that was so stinging.

"No. I didn't invite anyone but my best friend." Dirga replied while trying hard to swallow her food.

"You're so mean." Vidya whines and looks at Reiva and Nayra with a look of hate, "What's because of these two***** this?" He said as he pointed at Reiva and Nayra who were eating quietly.

Dirga did not have time to answer, Reihan gave off a cold aura making the temperature around them drop drastically. "You mentioned my twin sister ******? Then what are you?" Ask in a cold tone.

"He's your twin? It can't be!" Sentak Vidya did not believe. They watched Reiva and Reihan's face closely. Their facial features look so similar but because their gender is different and coupled with those who wear glasses as thick as a rhinoceros butt, their similarities do not look so striking.

Vidya held back the embarrassment as well as getting annoyed and said in a cynical tone, "Did you invite this unlucky bearer? I hope your birthday isn't a mess tomorrow!"

"What did you say?! Nayra's not as bad as you say!" Reiva said in a fiery voice, making some students turn to hear Reiva's words.

"It's really like that, right?"

Curious students soon swarm in to witness Vidya and Reiva's debate.

Reihan immediately calmed down Reiva who was ready to explode with an explosion by rubbing his back. Feeling the situation getting heated up Dirga immediately raised her voice, "As long as we are friends with Nayra, we are fine. If he's who you say he is, we should have had our bad luck with him."

Nayra stood up and left. Seen a triumphant grin on Vidya's face.

"Day! Where are you going?!" But the girl disappeared from their sight.

Nayra ran in an indiscriminate direction while crying. Her tears were pouring down her cheeks. Vidya's words were ringing in her head.

Not paying attention to the surroundings, in the distance a car can be seen passing at high speed.

The sudden appearance of Nayra made the car driver shocked. The driver honked and shouted, "Hey!! Watch out!"

Hearing the sound of a car horn, Nayra gasped in shock and realized that she was in the middle of the road.

'Bruck!'

A split second before being hit, Rean appeared out of nowhere and grabbed Nayra who was glued and disappeared.

"Squeaky. I think I hit him." The driver then got back into his car to continue the journey at moderate speed.

"You all right?"

"I'm good."

Nayra and Rean are in a park.

"Why are you running like that? What if you get hit by a car?" Rean asked worriedly as he looked at Nayra who was sad again.

"Oh, don't think about it. Next time don't be so reckless."

"I.... Hated my friends." Nayra started telling stories. "They said I was a curse carrier. Therefore I–" Nayra's words were cut off when Rean's index finger was on her lips.

"Don't think. You're not what they say you are. They're just jealous of you. You're so beautiful and special." Rean said softly and immediately distanced his index finger from Nayra's lips.

"It's night, we better go home." Without warning Rean held Nayra in bridal style and ran at high speed.

Nayra reflex draped her arm around Rean's neck. Rean took the girl running over the residential roof and jumped quite high. Nayra was fascinated by the night view, with the moon shining brightly accompanied by a sprinkling of stars before finally arriving at Nayra's bedroom window.

"We've arrived." Said Rean while lowering Nayra from her sling. The young man saw the girl's face more cheerful now.

"Thank you. I feel better now."

"See you." Rean soon disappears in the dark of the night.

Without them noticing, a yellow-eyed figure noticed the interaction of the two of them.

"Khu. khu.."

.......... ......... .......

A snake-human figure appeared before Rean, making the handsome young man gasp in shock.

"A human cat falls in love with a human, attractive. Sshh..." Say a half-snake human figure.

"What do you want?" Ask suspiciously.

"Shhh.... Of course that human. Sshh... He has a special aura." Say the figure while sticking out his forked tongue, then the figure repeats in the dark of the night.

Nayra was studying with a book strewn across her desk. The sound of the knocking of the window distracting her made her concentration wither away instantly. Nayra immediately rushed towards the window and opened it.

"Did anyone meet you?" Asked Rean anxiously.

"No. What's up?"

"none. Then don't let anyone in. See you later." Rean immediately left from there leaving the confused Nayra.

Nayra immediately closed the window and locked it tightly without realizing someone was watching her from a distance.

"Hey, have you ever heard of a cat man?" Ask Dirga who is sitting next to Reiva. Their conversation was heard by Nayra who was sitting behind him.

"Cat man?"

"Yes. According to the rumors, they are very powerful beyond humans in general. They turn into cats when they are 18-25 years old. If they find the person who takes care of her sincerely and lovingly, they will repay her with loyalty." Obviously at length.

"Some say, their appearance is the same as the fur of the cat. They even have red necklaces with their names."

Dirga's words make Nayra remember about the young man and his cat. When he first found Rean, there was a red necklace with a name on his neck.
