Husband Carried

Husband Carried
Tears.

🍂🍂🍂🍂🍂🍂

The rustling of the rest of the Rain made the middle-aged couple reluctant to come out of their thick blankets, both of them still hugging each other even Reza was not stopping to kiss the head of his Khumairah.

Melisa always chuckles until her shady eyelids narrow when the back of the heart is still often tempting.

Her priest never changed..

That sentence was always said by Grand Madame Rahardian in heart when Reza always treated him very well both the Queen in the palace. Never said rudely and raised his hands to his body are two things that Reza is very guarded by his wife. No matter how angry she is, Reza prefers to go for a moment and then go back home asking for a hug.

"Mas Reza isn't laper?" ask Melisa when the time has shown the time for breakfast.

"Cold, still want in the hug"

"But later on in waiting, we take a bath together yes" Melisa bargained, as old as they are romantic activities remain the most important in doing.

And sure enough, their grandchildren and great-grandchildren are already waiting in the dining room. Both of them immediately got a warm smile from the best of affectionate care.

"Again, Pah.. Mah" greet Water as well as others chimed in.

Everyone enjoyed breakfast so voraciously, maybe the cold because the rain made everything at the dinner table so very hungry.

Reza looked one by one at a time at all the people who were now in front of him, jokes and small talk were always their morning and evening meal mates.

Not to mention the riots created by Rahardian great-grandchildren who always stir and end up inviting laughter. It feels like time does not want to pass quickly, not satisfied it feels like the middle-aged man passed everything. He now seems reluctant to close his eyes because he is afraid of not being able to open them again.

"Of daydreaming, think what?" sam asked who finally broke Reza's daydream. He looked over with a smile and shook his head.

"It's okay, let's spend it" replied Reza.

"It's over, Appa didn't see the plate was empty?" sam said that made Reza chuckle.

The atmosphere was again quiet, all had done their respective activities including him and his wife but different from today, he said, the two chose to return to the room because it was not possible for the couple to be in the back garden like yesterday after breakfast.

"Want a warm shirt?" melisa bargained for the husband who was sitting in the right chair facing the balcony of their room.

"No, honey. You're my warmest blanket, come here" pinta Reza while extending a hand that was immediately welcomed by his Khumairah.

Again and again, the two hugged while enjoying the remaining drops of rain water in front of them, the smell was so distinctive and soothing to anyone.

"You know, Mas. Since childhood until this moment I have never played rainwater, I am afraid of pain and my mother will be angry with me" Melisa said as if reminiscing about her past.

"If you're angry, it's a sign that she loves you. I don't want you to get sick, Ra" replied Reza, though she knew that wasn't what really happened.

"Hem, hopefully, Mas"

Reza looked closely at the two beads of watery eyes of the wife, he knew there was a longing tucked there then he immediately embraced the tiny body that always warmed him into the embrace.

Cry, Ra. Because tears are not a sign of weakness but a proof that we still have feelings.
