Returning to the present, Djordan, Carlos sat facing each other with Ira sitting on the sofa by the window. "What about your school?" Ira asked Carlos.

"ah! I'm fine, thanks to the help you give I got good treatment from the teachers and students of the academy," he replied excitedly.

I smiled. "Good, I can't wait to see the results of your hard work in the future."

Maybe everyone will assume you are just a crumb character but to me you are the second most important character after the protagonist, my inner self.

From the novel, the two characters in front of me have important supporting roles like I said before. The father had the role of the best provider of horses during the war, a male figure who provided 1000 stallions to fight. While the child has a quite important role in the second male main store which is the sister of the female protagonist.

Carlos Del Podo, the genius child who has the most healing abilities in the future war. During the war Charles contributed a lot as a high-class witch who became the target of countries at war because of his healing power which is said to be able to reunite even severed bodies.

"...."

"Is there anything you want to say?" asked Carlos quietly.

"Murrah...."

This child will later become the greatest healing sorcerer but why is he even sickly and also.... I glanced at Djordan over Carlos. This bastard also wanted to kill himself but why is he still alive until the end of the story?.

"Hmmm...."

"Glupp's...."

Djordan and Carlos gulp their saliva together from feeling nervous when Ira is silent again.

"Mordy."

"DAD!."

"The reason I came here is because I'm going to help you prepare the horses for war."

"Hum? Will there be a war?."

"Didn't you hear back lately?" I asked as I raised my eyebrows.

"Yes... I haven't been in town lately so don't know what's going on" the answer.

"Dol-Uh...." I was breathing heavily. How could he not know that there would be a war when he was a special horse provider of war. I looked back at them in silence, staring intently at Djordan as if I was going to swallow him.

"S-I HAVE A REASON FOR THAT!, I CAN'T GO TO TOWN BECAUSE...."

"Because?."

"BECAUSE LATELY THERE'S A HORDE OF WOLVES PREYING ON HORSES!!!."

"Wolf?."

"Right what Dad said!, you know about the Sky Wolf!, They have shown themselves in the forest and are targeting our horses every day so Dad is always on guard here until Dad is almost preyed upon by the animal!," Carlos said.

"Yes too!." Djordan took off his shirt, revealing a large muscular body shrouded in dense fur. "Do you see this!." Point it at a large claw wound at the waist. "The creature almost killed me trying to take the horse he caught."

Seeing the wound in his eyes I remembered the inside of the novel. "Wolf of Heaven..," I muttered.

From what I remember in the novel there are only a few creatures described and one of them is this Sky Wolf, a mystical creature that likes to live in mountainous areas. The Alpha Sky Wolf could grow 2 meters in height with its gray-colored fur fused with the mist perhaps which was why Djordan whose body was larger than a normal man could get injured.

"All right I understand" I said standing up from the sofa and asked again. "Is that the only wound you have?."

"Yes... Thanks to my son his injuries were not fatal and have improved now, thanks to his great talent like his mother I am finally still alive until now HAHAHAHA..."

"Dad...." Carlos' face flushed red as his father praised his abilities. "I didn't do much!," he said shyly.

"Then."

DBRAKCKRAKKKK

BRACKET... BRACKET... BRACKET...

"What's that sound?."

"FATHER CAGE!," cried Carlos.

"I FINALLY GOT IT!."

Djordan rushed out of the house, leaving us inside.

"What do you get?" I asked.

"Ah that... Dad made a trap to catch the serial that yesterday preyed on his chicken so Dad must be very happy now!." After saying that, Carlos immediately went out towards his father.

"Bright... I should have rested by now." Even so I decided to go out to see what was obtained because I was also curious about the appearance of the sky wolf that many people feared. "Hmmm... Just look at Nagngina too."

I walked over to the spacious stables next to the house where a thousand or so horses were put together in the same place. Horse stables are very large like football stadiums made of wooden boards with many dividing boards inside. There were five horses in each barrier when I saw it many times I thought. "I'm still wondering how he fed this thousand horses."

As I walked in search of both my legs stopped at one of the most corner dividers of the cage. There was a very large jet-black stallion.

I smiled. "How's Nagngina doing?, you seem to be getting bigger than the last time I saw you."

The eyes of the stallion met those of my eyes which saw it from 5 meters away later. Suddenly the horse shouted and kicked the closing door until it floated slammed backward.

BRACKET.

The closing door fell exactly 10 meters from where I was standing and shattered into pieces.

"Haha... You're always excited" I said, trembling. It's a good thing he didn't kick me, my mind.

Black horse out of the cage. Then walking towards me, the horse turned him around and licked my cheek, pulled my braids back and let go. "Tsk, this kid." I put a touch on her forehead and hugged her neck tightly. "I miss you too...." I said spoiled.

The black horse in front of me was the type of forest horse I found in the Moroccan jungle when I first visited the Podo ranch, the dark horse that used to almost kill me is now tame as a dog whenever I see it coming.

"Morning... Are you eating right? Did they treat you well?, did they take good care of my baby.... Muuu." I give a rain of kisses to the face of the horse that wags its tail.

"Cup cup cup... Mama's son has grown up uuluulu.... Mama brought sweets to Nagi's sweet black...."

"Emp."

When I was about to kiss the horse's mouth, Carlos, who entered the stable, looked at me with a trembling look. "I'm sorry for interrupting your precious time" he said, taking a step back.

"Ehem...." I fixed my position. "What brings you here" I asked.

Carlos stopped and turned to look at me. "Dad told me to call you so I will... I-I'm sorry if I interrupted your time.da...."

"Bright... Show me where the cage is" I said, hiding my shame. Shit, I almost let go, my mind.

We walked past several horse stable dividers and from many barriers there was one spot filled with blood that still looked fresh. "What is the horse in this cage that is eaten?" I asked.

"True, it's horse number one hundred and fifteen, and one hundred and fourteen, because the stable is closest to the door behind the forest so it's attacked first."

"Does your father still compose horses based on their degree of weakness."

"Yes" he replied calmly.

I sighed softly, walking towards the exit along with the large black horse that followed from behind. "Waste of time."
