Episode 65: Eating Together

"You're married Luciana. Is that true?." Kai asked a little surprised.

"Yes Kai. I'm sorry I didn't tell you, because I don't have your number. So I'm confused how to contact you. Sorry for being so sudden." Luciana replied with a faint smile.

"When we promised, when we grow up, we will get married. Turns out you were married first, to someone else, not me." Kai said immediately pouting.

"My name is Leonathan." Leonathan's words suddenly appeared, and immediately embraced Luciana's waist.

"I was just passing by, and I saw you at this funeral. With a man. I stopped by for a while, to take care of you." Leonathan replied in a soft tone.

"Well Kai. This is my husband, his name is Leonathan." Luciana introduced Leonathan to him.

"Ouh, greetings. I'm Kai." Kai replied introducing himself as well, and he immediately shook hands with Leonathan. They looked at each other with sharp eyes.

Luciana who saw him could not do anything. "Why did they put on such a face anyway. It's like the enemy." Luciana's inner voice smiled back and instantly broke them.

After Leonathan said things to his mother-in-law. He stood up again, and re-embraced Luciana's waist. "Do you want to come, too, dear?." Luciana looked back at him.

"May I be. I'll keep you company." Leonathan answered on guard, fearing that Luciana might turn away from him.

"Then let's go now." Leonathan said, and the three of them went straight away from the cemetery, after Luciana and Kai waved their hands at mother's grave.

They got into Luciana's car together. And the car that was driven by Leonathan, went first, at his command.

On travel. Leonathan sat at the front, next to the driver. Luciana sat on the back bench with Kai.

"Oh yeah Kai, how are your parents there. So I want to meet them?." Luciana asked again smiling, swinging her legs.

"Mom and dad are fine. They miss you too much. Next time I'll video call them, when there's you. They also often tell us about our childhood, because we were very close first. His name is also a neighbor next to the yakan house. Haha." Kai replied with a faint laugh.

Luciana and Kai immediately ordered the food and drinks they wanted. Leonathan just ordered ramen and cold americano coffee.

"Waiting for the order." Said the waiter, bowed his body and returned to the kitchen.

"Ouh yes Luciana. How's your father doing now?." Kai asked starting the topic.

"Dad was very good with his new family. My father remarried another woman, and now I have a stepmother and a half-sister. This is my life now." Luciana replied with a smile.

"I've missed the news indeed. Because I was so busy with my work there. I have to take care of my father's company, and my own." Kai said a story.

"Fashion company." Kai replied smiling again.
