The seafood restaurant was our place of choice to enjoy dinner. Williams booked a VIP room for the four of us this time. At first I also wanted to invite the people of the orphanage to eat with us. But considering that there are already parlors that inhabit us undo his intentions.
There is no serious discussion, there is only mutual storytelling and joking.3 adults who listen to the story of a young girl. It felt funny but seeing her smile and laughter made me feel happy. Huuft seems like I really should check myself out.
At 9pm we arrived home. I drove Oma into her room which was on the 1st floor. I still hear Edwin and Alexa chatting.
"Will."
I put a glass of water on the table and closed it. Oma smiled at me, while sitting leaning back with two pillows as support for her back. She asked him that because he did not want to sleep directly.
"Is there anything you need again, Oma?" I held the wrinkled hand full of tenderness tightly.
"Mom can you stay with Will here?"
I was surprised, of course I would be so happy if Oma would stay with me. But the problem is Oma's uncle and other grandchildren. Will they approve?.
"I personally would be very happy if Oma was willing to stay with me. But Oma, what about uncle and the others?. I don't mind anything that Oma wants, but Will doesn't want any misunderstandings or anything that could get us all into a fight. Do you know what Will means?"
Oma Feli nodded and smiled. His face was slowly wiped.
"Oma's happy to live here. Oma also has many friends at the place. With them Oma felt like she had a new life, a new family. We can talk and laugh all the time. Then eat and suckle each other. It feels so good." He laughed and smiled back.
I understand what Oma is feeling. He must be lonely and only accompanied by a few servants in his house. If only, I had full rights to oma, I would have brought her to live with me. It has been a long time since this desire existed, but again and again I realized my position which is only his adopted grandson.
"Oma rest first yes. Let's talk about this again next time." Calming words.
Oma nodded her head slowly and began to shift her position and lay down. I pulled the blanket to the limit of her arm and kissed her forehead. I closed the door after I said good night.
I set my foot into the living room where the television screen was still on, even though I no longer heard Ed and Lexa speaking.
I asked when I only found Edwin sitting there watching.
"Just went up."
I'm holding myself next to Ed. Several times I took a slow breath while thinking should I say Oma's wish to Ed? won't it be a problem?.
"Why?" He asked without looking at me after so many times I took a breath and turned to him slowly.
"Ed, Oma say something to you?"
I dared to ask him first. Edwin is the only granddaughter of Oma who is close to me and is always nice to exchange ideas with. Not like Jack and Jonathan who never liked me.
I saw Ed looking down for a moment and then looking at me. I was still waiting for him to talk.
"Oma, ask to stay here." He said slowly and slightly increased the volume of the television. Maybe he did it so that our voices wouldn't be heard by Oma.
"He told me too. Personally I don't mind at all Oma staying with me here. I've even wanted it for a long time. But Ed, you know that I can't make any decisions regarding Oma. I won't turn it down if you let me." Firmly slow
"Oma didn't tell you that she wanted to stay in the parlor?"
Seeing me silent Ed continued his words.
"Oma wants to stay in the house, she feels happy and happy to be there. I have a lot of friends and I can tell stories all the time."
So, Oma asked to stay here instead of living with me but living in a parlor?
I was only able to be silent later because again I had no right to express an opinion.
