At exactly 12pm, we heard footsteps. The room was so quiet, there was only a gap of light rays from the window curtain.
A man stepped wide towards the top floor, a frown on his forehead revealing a heavy feeling of fatigue. He pulled his tie and stopped his steps, he instead sat on the red sofa.
"Huh,"
Thirsty, Hazel stepped back. But in the kitchen, he saw his shadow. He slowly drew closer to the shadow and pulled out the knife he always carried everywhere.
Akh
His body stiffened, beads of sweat drenched his cheeks. His body trembled, the dagger around his neck ready to scratch his skin at any moment.
"Who are you?"
"Grand,"
Hazel frowned, she remembered the voice she had heard. Hazel lowered her sharp dagger. He turned on the main light in the kitchen.
Mikayla felt her neck, her breath up and down with a body trembling in fear.
"Why are you here?" hazel asked with a probing gaze.
Mikayla passed Hazel, she immediately gulped down the water in the glass she poured.
"Say! Why are you here?" ask Hazel. His eagle eyes stared in full search. As a man, he never believed in anyone but his wife.
"Want to drink."
Mikayla gulped her hard-earned saliva. Hazel's breath was very close to her face, like an arrow that would stick to her forehead. "L-yes I want to drink."
"I will not be fooled by your dirty tricks, if the weight is dirty, the seeds will also be dirty." Hazel stared at Mikayla's body from the ground up, wearing flip-flops, a knee-length t-shirt and shorts and her usual hair.
"Are you all right?" Mikayla peeked through the corner of her eye. He saw blood on Hazel's right hand. "It looks like the lord is hurt."
"You don't need to get my attention. I won't be tempted by a demonic woman."
Mikayla lowered her head tightly, she clenched her hands together, until the veins were clearly visible as if they wanted to come out.
Hazel smiled cynically, she could see the anger through Mikayla's hand. But he doesn't care because it's the truth. His mother was third in his wife's family. Even his wife and mother-in-law cried because of Mikayla's family, as well as Mikayla herself.
"I say goodbye to you" said Mikayla. He left without hearing Hazel's words.
Hazel walked away, she wanted to see her and when she got to the room she saw her husband curled up in the room crying.
"Darling, why?"
Adel moved he immediately hugged Hazel's burly body. Crying in his arms, "What's my fault? Why is dad that? I love him so much, Hazel."
Hazel clenched her hands, and even if her father-in-law did not remain silent. His wife felt pain and suffering.
"Dear, don't cry." Hazel broke her embrace, she wiped the tears that split her two cheeks. "It's not your fault, Om Rio doesn't deserve your affection. He's too lucky to get your love."
"Only you, only you are like a husband and father to me Hazel, I love you so much, after Mikayla gave birth to your child, you have to throw it away."
Hazel sighed, out of nowhere this stupid thought of his wife. He could not touch another body other than his wife. He was disgusted by what else was Mikayla's body.
"Can you undo your intentions? I can't, baby,"
"No dear, your family needs a successor. Besides your whole family doesn't know, she doesn't know that my womb has been lifted."
"Sorry baby, I can't obey you." Hazel rubbed Adel's head. "Sleep, tomorrow we have to meet with Mama."
