Two Men of the Same Fate

Still on the same day, inside a caffe, a handsome man was seen sitting alone in one corner on the top floor. Precisely the man sat on a low-fenced balcony that can make it easier for visitors to see the cityscape. The man occasionally exhaled roughly with his eyes glaring in any direction. It seemed like there was a heavy matter he was thinking about.

In the same place, two men were climbing the stairs. One of the two men carried a tray containing two cups of coffee and a snack they had ordered downstairs.

When the two men got to the top floor and looked for a good place to sit, one of them saw the man who had been sitting alone. The man frowned then suddenly his eyes widened. The man decided to approach the aloof man and was followed by the man carrying the tray with a confused look.

"Mr William?"

Feeling someone say his name, the man sitting alone then turned his head. At first the man's forehead greeted William was wrinkled, but after he remembered who the man who greeted him, William's eyes also immediately widened.

"Mr Darren!" exclaiming William.

The man named Darren smiled broadly. "Why are you sitting here alone?"

William lifted both shoulders. "Well, Mr. Darren. Would you like to join me?"

"So you're really alone?" darren asked, and William nodded immediately. "Well, I thought you were with someone" Darren and Erik sat in a chair around the same table as William.

Darren and William knew each other. Not as business friends, but they know each other because their children live in the same house. With the power they have, William and Darren can easily investigate every person who lives in one house with his child. That's where William and Darren got to know each other.

If from the business world, between Darren and William also actually already know each other's information. But they only know enough and have never once been involved in cooperation between their companies. They have also met several times at a business event. Hence at this moment Darren and William looked familiar.

"You came here on purpose or is there an event around here?" ask William to open the conversation.

"It just so happens that Erik and I are out of fitness behind this cafe building and meet someone earlier" Darren replied and then he sipped his latten coffee.

"someone? Is she your lover?" guess William.

William also displayed his bitter smile. As for Erik, just fell silent while enjoying the bitterness of the two men before him. The man also had a daughter whom he loved dearly, so he knew very well what Darren and William felt.

"I met my son, too, and yeah. He was still the same, as well as staring at hate when he saw his own father," said William.
