KELANA

KELANA
17.

A young man slowly approached her.

"I'm sorry, sir, I'm Mumu. May I see the condition of the princess, Father?"

"Are you a physician?" Instead of answering Mumu's question, Mr. Samsur asked back.

The people who came before were on average already middle-aged. There were also some who were rather young but not as young as this young man before him.

"Said the healer didn't either, sir. It can only treat a little fracture or sprain." Answer Mumu low.

Mr. Samsur thought for a moment and before long he immediately smiled his smile and said, "Come over here." Mr. Samsur does not want to demean others. Different time when he was young. As we age, life experiences increase.

I bet the coconut is getting older the more food. The older the more experience.

Mumu immediately followed Mr. Samsur into the side room which turned out to be the TV room.

His daughter was watching while lying down. Next to her sits the sweet Buk Maya Mala's mother. Judging by the naked eye, Malase seems to be as healthy as other people just because weathering the bones makes him unable to move like other people. In his ear was a kind of hearing aid installed there.

"Who is your daughter's name?" Ask Mumu.

"Malahayati's. The call is Mala." Answer Mr. Samsur.

Mumu walked over to Mala, "What's Mala watching?" Sweepings.

Mala looked at Mumu in full search. "Watch Tv." Answer manyun. Maybe he was getting tired of the arrival of people who disturbed his calm.

Therefore Mumu deliberately chatted first with Mala.

Mr. Samsur just looked at it from the side. This young man may also think.

After Mala got used to it, Mumu said softly, "Let brother hold his hand for a while huh, Mala. Any idea there's a disease on Mala's hands you can take it."

Mala said nothing. He immediately extended his hand.

Mumu is diagnosed through the movement of veins and blood flow.

Ten minutes later he opened his eyes again and turned towards Mr. Samsur.

"I see your son's illness is quite severe. This disease has a negative impact on other organs if left too long.

His hearing is impaired as well as the side effects of the illness he is suffering from."

Mr. Samsur was a little surprised by Mumu's diagnosis but he didn't show it on his face. Instead, after glancing briefly at his wife, he asked, "What disease do you think our daughter is suffering from? We're very grateful if you can treat our daughter."

Mumu knew that the question was not about their daughter's illness but rather their curiosity about her abilities.

After sighing, Mamu said, "I do not guarantee that my diagnosis is one hundred percent correct but in my opinion, this son of the Father has fragile bone disease. I don't know what the medical term is, but obviously this disease is usually due to genetic disorders experienced from birth."

Mr. Samsur and his wife gaped. Mumu's explanation is according to what the famous hospital doctor said.

Her child's disease is known as Osteogenesis Inperfecta. There is currently no cure. Only limited to treatment by way of physiotherapy and rehabilitation.

But they both do not want to see their children suffer if they have to be physiotherapy or rehabilitation.

"Please treat our son, Mumu! Whatever it costs we'll bear." Please Mr. Samsur.

This time he really hoped.

At first, he just considered Mamu as a young person who is interested in the rewards. But now his view is much different.

Maybe this is the person who is fooled to be able to cure his daughter.

But his hopes were dashed when he saw Mumu shake his head and say, "I'm sorry, Mom, I can't treat your daughter."

Buk Maya can still think clearly. She heard Mumu say 'Can't' not unwilling or unable. There's a reason behind that.

"Sit down, Dad!" Buk Maya takes her husband to a chair and lets Mumu sit in another chair.

"Mumu," Call her softly while staring at Mumu.

If you may know what reason you said you couldn't treat our daughter? I thought you had the ability to do that. You are also not the material type of person and are also not among those without mercy."

"It's too high to judge me." Said Mumu in a shy tone.

"I'm not sure I can cure Mala's disease a hundred percent but I can reduce her suffering a little." Mr. Samsur wanted to comment but was immediately stopped by his wife.

"But the problem is that my method of treatment I can't practice with Mala."

"What's the problem?" Tukas Mr. Samsur.

"My method of treatment is by massage and acupuncture needles in the patient's body. Because of the disease suffered by Mala, I had to massage and stick acupuncture needles around the body that is forbidden without being limited by clothes or the like. So I hope you and I understand my reasons."

Mr. Samsur and his wife looked at each other. This is a very strange problem. It was still fine if the two of them agreed to reason for the sake of their daughter's recovery. But what about Mala?

Does he want his body shown to others? To his parents, he was ashamed.

"Can you let us discuss with Mala for a moment, Mumu?" Ask Buk Maya.

"Good, Buk." Mumu went straight outside and sat on the porch.

Half an hour passed in the blink of an eye.

Shortly thereafter, Mr. Samsur arrived.

"Mala finally agreed. Let's take you to his room." Take Mr. Samsur directly.

Mala's room was not far from the TV room.

After allowing Mumu to enter, Mr. Samsur immediately closed the door from the outside. He's not coming in.

Only the three of them were in that room.

"Can we start now, Buk?" Buk Maya nodded. While Mala's face reddened.

"Please Mala not to think badly of Abang! It's for the sake of treatment. Please lie on your stomach and the hearing is removed." Said Mumu apologetically.

If there is still a choice, Mumu would prefer not to treat Mala. But Mala's disease is already very severe.

There are things that he did not say earlier to Mr. Samsur and Buk Maya. The impact of Mala disease not only affects his hearing but has begun to seep into the heart.

If not treated quickly, Mumu is not sure if Mala can survive in a month. But back again, life, death and soul mate are within the circumference of Almighty destiny.

Mumu can only predict by looking at the signs on Mala's body.

Mumu took out a silver needle from the small bag that was always carried everywhere.

After being sealed with hot water that was asked by him Mumu began to stick the needle in the nerve points on the back of Mala's body.

Mala can only bite her lip when Mumu's finger hits her body.

Buk Maya sits on the side with unblinking eyes.
