Chapter 28 - A MOMENT Locked

The day changed, the moonlight that all night had illuminated the darkness of the sky slowly disappeared replaced by sunlight from the eastern horizon.

Yups, today is the day of the Olympics both chemistry, physics and mathematics in different rooms. 

Eva and Celine were already at the venue, mixed feelings they felt. Tense, nervous and afraid are more dominating, how not, their own rivals come from schools that are no less elite with very smart students.

Suddenly, both of their self-confidence faded.

Mr. Theo who saw the two students were not confident came over. "Hey, what's wrong with you guys? Why is it suddenly so moody?" Ask.

"You're just nervous sir." Sahut Celine's.

"Remain, our rivals are quite strong. In fact they are all Olympic winners from Junior High." Eva chimed.

Mr. Theo smiled. "Not to worry hmm. As long as you fight and are sure you will win. Efforts will never betray results. After all you guys studied hard yesterday." Said mr. Theo.

Encouraged by a handsome killer teacher, who doesn't melt. Even Celine had meleyot to hear Mr. Theo give spirit. Even now his spirit had already flared up, as if he was going to war.

"Yes! We will not lose! Come on, Eva, let's win this Olympics!" Celine Spirit.

Eva smiled and clenched her hands in front of her chest. "Come on! We're trying our hardest!" Answer Eva.

The event begins, Eva and Celine head to a table where the table is already reserved for them.

The Olympics will be held in two sessions, the first session is written to answer the questions given on a paper. After that, sorting is done and will be selected top 10 only. And the second session was a quick answer where the examiners gave questions and then answered quickly by the participants. Three representatives from each school who got the highest score then they are the winners of one, two, and three. 

Eva and Celine were already preparing at her desk, with a piece of answer paper and a ballpoint pen she was holding. Shortly the committee came and gave a question sheet.

The problems that will be done amounted to 100 multiple choice questions and can only be done for 100 minutes. And 5 essay questions with workmanship for 50 minutes. 

Time also began the room that from earlier boisterous suddenly quiet and there was only the sound of scratches of ballpoint pens that were mutually unpretentious.

"When you're working on the multiple-choice problem, there's 30 minutes left!" Said a committee.

While Mr. Theo who was sitting in a chair behind the available lines was also nervous. Even so, Mr. Theo hid his nervousness because he had to encourage his students who were racing.

"When you're working on the multiple-choice problem, there's 10 minutes left!" The committee reminded time.

Not feeling the multiple choice exam was over, the participants were only given a break for 10 minutes to drink and eat snacks provided.

"Hows it? Are you having trouble doing things?" Ask mr. Theo.

Eva and Celine shook their heads. "It's hard sir, but it's okay." Sahut Celine's.

"There are some deceptive questions, too, sir." Eva stared at the killer teacher's brown bead.

Mr. Theo and Eva's gaze locked for a moment. The two of them were busy staring into each of the magnetic beads of their eyes, which was hard to let go of. Eva finally broke off eye contact.

"Ekhem! Try you. When you're done eating, come back." Said Mr. Theo neutralizing his feelings.

While Eva was just staring in the other direction, it felt very awkward if she was close to Pan Theo.

Eva and Celine had already returned to the hall preparing for the essay exam. Just like the previous test, Eva also tried and carefully in working on it. That is because this exam must include the workings of the given problem.

50 Minutes passed, Eva and Celine moved out of their place and left the room where the race took place.

"To the Olympic participants, you are welcome to take your lunch break and welcome back to this hall at 2pm." Committee in toa.

Eva, Celine and Mr. Theo headed to the restaurant because it was lunchtime.
