JiHan happily got down from the car and ran into the Apsan Park
Apsan Park is one of the largest urban-eco parks in Daegu, with an area of about 508 pyeong (about 1,680 square meters). The cable car runs 790m up Apsan and at the foot of the mountain there are recreational facilities where visitors can enjoy archery, horseback riding and swimming. There are also monuments commemorating poet Yi Ho-wu as well as the Nakdonggang River War Memorial Hall (founded in 1979) and Dongsan Daedeok Keungol Hill, respectively, it has a stunning garden that is perfect for a date or family outing.
As a major recreation area for Daegu residents, the park has many walking trails. In general, routes can be categorized into three groups: routes that start from the park and connect to Mount Apsan, routes from the park to Mount Sanseongsan, and winding routes to Mount Daedeoksan. The length of the track varies from 2 km to 4 km, making visitors able to choose the path that best suits their abilities and preferences.
