Kitsune In Another World's
Chapter 16 [The Proximity of Arc-Angel ]

Seeing his best friend lying weakly in his bed, Uriel did not know what to say. Some time ago, Gabriel who was carrying Luciel in his arms forcibly broke down the door of Uriel's room while he was at work. Seeing Gabriel's panic, Uriel remained calm and immediately told Gabriel to lay Luciel on his bed.

The overly panicked Gabriel could not think rationally, he did not even realize that Raphael was not following him.

It was only after a while in Uriel's lecture that Gabriel began to calm down. He let Uriel check on Luciel. It wasn't difficult for him as the brightest Arc-Angel to take action treating Luciel.

Uriel was exhausted, too many things had happened lately around her.

"Lucy should be fine by now."

"Thank God.." Gabriel's smile was relieved.

He looked at Gabriel rather closely, "The boy...Why did Lucy get to that?"

"It's not a normal disease. Obviously this is a symptom of running out of extreme mana. We Arc-Angel's got an amazing capacity. When we are like that we can run out of mana only when fighting the Evil God."

"So how can this kid be?" look at Uriel sharply.

Gabriel had to answer what, he knew that Luciel was doing something. But he doesn't know what it is.

"I-That's..that's..."

"I think I know why!" the words immediately attracted their attention.

That person was Raphael, he stood in front of the door looking at Luciel who was starting to improve after Uriel made the mana transfer to him.

"What's that?" ask Uriel.

"This Lucy he transfers light mana to his own wings" replied Raphael inexhaustibly.

"?"

"Why did he do that?"

"Some time ago, Lucy was angry at hearing of the extermination of the Amamiya Kingdom, right? I'm sure it's because the little boy she always talked about first lived there too. Seeing that 300 years have passed and the child is still alive (according to Luciel) means that he is not human" Raphael said.

"really. I also immediately thought so. The child must be one of the Youkai protecting the Kingdom of Amamiya" Uriel replied.

"!!"

"Wait...!" Uriel realized something from her own words.

"So that's what you mean Raphael. Then, everything makes sense."

"Yes right? Don't think Lucy got to that extent. The boy is much more important than I thought," Raphael said.

Gabriel, "?"

"Ha~ahh.. If that's the case, we really should scold Lucy when she wakes up. What he did was not against the law. But it risked his life. What is he so stupid?" tease Uriel.

Gabriel, "?"

"Come on.. so-so he's your friend loh~"

"He's your friend too!"

Gabriel, "💢💢💢"

Gabriel couldn't take it anymore, "You two!! What did you guys talk about earlier!? Explain correctly dong, let this slow me also be able to understand!!!" annoyed.

Uriel and Raphael looked at each other before they laughed at Gabriel's expression.

"Oi!! I'm serious!!!"

"Well, fine.I'm sorry Gaby. Don't sulk that ah! Let me explain," cried Raphael still amused.

"Ekhm, as you know, Lucy's dear child is Youkai. And Youkai was the main target of the holy temple this time. Thanks to yesterday's report, we know that their plan is to sabotage the light and darkness in the Youkai's body and force them into a state of curse in the midst of darkness."

"Therefore their nature will become darker due to the imbalance of mana in the body plus the chaos of mana flow."

"So, in essence, to neutralize the imbalance of mana, it is necessary to add mana of light which in fact is very lacking. But since Lucy can't go down directly to help her, and no other race besides Saintess has that much light, Lucy is forced to make the most troublesome choice."

"Y!! Don't tell!?"

"Yes, that option is to do a mana transfer with the mediator. Which transfers are done in that way will double the amount of mana required" Raphael continued.

"Eh... If it's just a double, it shouldn't make Lucy run out of nowhere, right?" confused Gabriel.

Uriel took over the explanation, "Yes indeed. It's not finished there."

"The only mediator they both have is Lucy's wing feather she gave him 300 years ago. But you know for yourself, 'feather' alone can't be the object of the mediator. To do a specific mana transfer to one of the feathers from hundreds of feathers on its wings is impossible."

"Y!! So since it can't get to one, Lucy transfers the light mana all over her wings!" finally Gabriel began to understand the direction of their conversation.

"really. He did that in hopes that the feather in the boy's hand could help him out of the mana imbalance" Raphael replied.

"In this way it can be said. assume which one the child needs so that his light and darkness can be balanced is 100. After doubling it to 200, then in order for 200 mana to get to the feather the child was carrying, Lucy had to pull out as many as 200 mana for each feather of her wings."

"Just estimate the feather on Lucy's wing there are 600 strands. That way more or less where to spend there is 200×600 or about 120,000 mana," continued Uriel.

"......."

Gabriel was speechless, confused as to what to reply.

"YES CRAZY!!!!!"

The scream that came out from his mouth, represented what Uriel and Raphael had thought earlier.

"We, Arc-Angel only have 100,000 mana!!! But he transfers 120,000!!?? CRAZY HUH!!?? Where did he get the rest of his 20,000!?" giddy Gabriel.

Raphael nodded in agreement, "Yes!!!"

Uriel agreed with them. The woman glanced at Luciel who had just done such a crazy thing alone. Drawn Luciel's cheeks until slightly loosened like a bakpao.

"When he can ask for our help too."

"Bas stupid."

"Back to my question. Where did Lucy get the remaining 20,000 mana?" ask Gabriel again.

Uriel shook her head in an unknown sign. Meanwhile, Raphael was at a loss as to what to do. He clasped his right arm with his left hand and turned his gaze in the other direction.

To be honest, this one question is a bit difficult to answer Raphael.

"..... She.. seemed to be exchanging her blood for it." she replied heavily.

"!!!??"

"WHAT!!!?? LUCY WHAT!!!???" shock Gabriel and Uriel.

"...... You can see it for yourself in Lucy's room. The magic circle that is there.it is a circle of agreement with the spirit. When it comes to spirit, what they want from us Arc-Angel is definitely our blood, right?" raphael replied doubtfully.

Uriel thought for a moment while twitching her temple.

"Changed the blood of one of the first Arc-Angel with spirit. He knew how precious his blood was. But it could be, god!!!"

The blood of the first 3 Arc-Angel is precious. So valuable, in droves of people from various races who target it despite the life of the stakes. One drop of the first Arc-Angel blood was equivalent to one drop of Yggdrasil dew which was a Legend level potion. Moreover, if one drank his blood while at peak level, they could break through the limits normally impossible for 99% of people to break through.

But his blood can also be fatal. The blood of the first Arc-Angel could be a boon as they bless it. And when they don't, then their blood will become a poison that anyone who drinks it, even creatures outside the bounds, can die instantly.

"We really should scold her later. No, instead he should be punished to realize how reckless his actions were."

Gabriel and Raphael nodded simultaneously.

"Agreed!"
