As he ran without looking the other way he hit someone.

After reaching the bottom floor, Alan searched for Dara's whereabouts but had not been found. Alan asks the guard about Dara's whereabouts, and the guard tells Alan that Dara has just run out the gate to the highway.

"She was kidnapped, " replied Dara with a stammering tone of voice.
