The Strange Village

"Master, I suggest you don't enter this village. Go find another village." Said a village gatekeeper stopping the steps of a young man who would intend to enter the village.

The young man frowned, "If the situation allows, I don't mind looking for another village but ..." He pointed up, the sky was covered with black clouds so that it became dark indicating that it would soon rain.

Arya Geni could see that the guards' views were not hostile or suspicious, but there was a sense of caring. Although he did not ask the reason the guards had asked him to look for another village, he could shoot that it was done for his own good.

"Sir, you don't harden- ..." A guard had not finished talking when another guard stopped him.

"Didn't you care about your wife and kids anymore? If he doesn't want to hear after we remind him, just let it go" The guard who stopped his partner looked at Arya Geni "Get inside, come inside, but don't ever say that we warned you not to enter this village"

Arya Geni nodded slowly. He entering the village in addition to shelter must ascertain what is happening inside this village. Because the way the two guards look can already be guessed that there is something wrong with this village.

The rain fell followed by strong winds, the village streets were so quiet that no one was visible.

Although the unpleasant feeling after getting a warning from the village guard plus the state of the village is so quiet does not make him worried. He will face whatever happens because the more important thing is to find shelter and fill his stomach which began to rumble.

A few seconds later, he arrived at a simple shop. The shop seemed quiet as if there was no life, there seemed to be no guest other than him.

The old man sitting on the guest table raised his eyebrows when a young man walked into the tavern. The man did not expect Arya Geni to enter his shop.

"Please sir, it looks like you'd rather change your clothes first" said the old man taking the young man to the back of the shop, his home.

The man showed me one of the rooms for Arya Geni.

"Please change clothes first, sir, I will prepare food in the guest room." The man explained.

Arya Geni entered the room to change clothes, the old man had also given her towels and dry clothes.

After a while Arya Geni left the room after changing clothes. He went to the living room in question to eat food. His stomach felt so hungry because it had not eaten anything after he had come out of the forbidden forest.

"Newly there is warm soup, I will cook another one, please wait a moment ..." The owner of the house just put a pot of soup on the living room table when Arya Geni entered the room.

Arya Geni nodded slowly, she took out an empty bowl and filled it with warm soup. He enjoyed soup to warm up the body.

The man brought back some dishes, but all the dishes he brought were vegetables, no meat or fish.

"Sorry young master, this is all I can serve I don't have meat or palm wine" said the old man.

Arya Geni smiled kindly, "No need to worry sir, all these dishes are more than enough" Arya Geni replied as she took an empty plate and started filling it with rice plus vegetables then ate the dish.

After finishing eating Arya Geni dishes turned to the old man who was contemplating.
