Legend of the Fighter (2)
Chapters... 34: Towards the Xiu Clan

Zhou Fan returned to the place where they were blocking the Ci Clan entourage, on his back was no longer a sword, but a five-year-old boy.

The young man darted quickly, it didn't take long to get to his destination.

Shao Mingrui who saw Zhou Fan return with a boy immediately let out a surprised look. Because he felt familiar with the face of the boy on Zhou Fan's back.

"It looks like I've seen this kid, but I don't know when or where I've met." Shao Mingrui stroked his chin while trying to remember about the child Zhou Fan had brought.

The more he noticed, Shao Mingrui's forehead looked increasingly wrinkled. He seemed to have a memory that suddenly entered his head.

"He-" Shao Mingrui looked at Zhou Fan, while the young man simply nodded.

"Klan Xiu did not really side with the eighth prince, it happened because of this child." Zhou Fan glanced behind his back.

Shao Mingrui and Elder Song frowned, but they held back the curiosity from seeing that Zhou Fan was about to make a sound again.

"Klan Ci threatened the Xiu Clan by kidnapping this child. Perhaps the arrival of the Ci Clan was also related to the agreement between them."

Shao Mingrui was silent. If so, doesn't that solve their problems. At least there was no need for any more efforts to get rid of the Xiu family.

"Now what are you going to do." Shao Mingrui was interested in what steps Zhou Fan would take.

The young man glanced back at his back, as the five-year-old wriggled in his sleep.

Previously he was in a fainting state, but on the way, he regained his senses, but did not wake up and ended up falling asleep in Zhou Fan's arms.

"I will return her to the Xiu Clan."

Shao Mingrui smiled, she also thought so. "Do you need some friends, I don't matter either."

"No need, too many people look suspicious."

Zhou Fan shook his head, it was not impossible for the Xiu Clan who did not know what about their arrival to attack once they saw a group of troops approaching towards them.

"What about the Patriarch of the Ci Clan?" Zhou Fan circulated a glance around, but did not find the corpse of the old man he was referring to.

Shao Mingrui pointed to the former burning site.

"I burned his body, otherwise it would pose a threat. But before dying, he said that in the Ci Clan there was a great elder who was also the previous Patriarch of the Ci Clan."

Zhou Fan looked at Shao Mingrui seriously. "Means the Ci Clan is still -- "

"Well... Even so we'll take care of her slowly. For a while no one knew about this matter, perhaps in the next few days the Ci Clan would be faced with an internal matter."

After saying Shao Mingrui left Zhou Fan who was still standing there. Elder Song as well as the existing troops, gradually left following their leader.

Zhou Fan glanced at Zhou Jim at a glance, besides him and also the boy hanging on his back, there was only the red-furred wolf.

To get to the residence of the Xiu Clan, Zhou Fan had to travel several villages, because the location of the residence of this clan was not so close, it could even be said to be quite far.

Zhou Fan was still holding a boy, he did not complain at all or the like, even the young man seemed to be enjoying his role.

Unknowingly the day was approaching night, the sun had already sunk, and the sky had already let out a very moon.

Zhou Fan continued to dart through the streets that looked increasingly desolate. Together with Zhou Jim he moved towards the village where the Xiu Clan was located.

After passing through the three villages, Zhou Fan could see the residence gate that read the name 'Klan Xiu' right on it.

When the guards saw a foreign figure approaching with a wolf beast, they immediately confronted him.

Zhou Fan woke the boy on his back. Before this the boy had already woken up, and he knew Zhou Fan as his helper. When Zhou Fan called out, he immediately opened both of his eyes.

The faces of the guards who saw who on the backs of the figures they had stopped, instantly turned pale. "Young master? You back?"

One of them immediately went to report to Patriarch Xiu, while Zhou Fan was still quietly waiting to be invited to enter.

Before long an obediently paid man came along with a woman, Zhou Fan once saw firsthand to know if they were Patriarch Xiu as well as his wife.

"Long'er?" The woman without saying much took over her son from Zhou Fan's hands.

Zhou Fan could not help but, as he could see how depressed the woman was. Probably because he was worried about his son.

"Dad, he's not the kidnapper, but the one who helped me. You don't look at her that."

Patriarch Xiu smiled towards his son. "Dad understand, you go back first with your mother."

Patriarch Xiu then turned to look at Zhou Fan. He no longer let out the sharp eyes he had previously directed at the young man.

"There are some things I need to clarify, can you follow me?" Patriarch Xiu turned around and sauntered into the territory of the Xiu Clan.

Zhou Fan followed two steps behind the middle-aged man in front of him, they entered a residence and went to one of the rooms.

"Sit down, I can't provide wine, just plain tea." Patriarch Xiu picked up the teapot from a nearby table.

Zhou Fan sat on a chair, while Patriarch Xiu sat opposite to him.

"Who is this master really?" Patriarch Xiu asked with a heart, he cannot forget the kindness of this young man for having returned his son safely.

"Patriarch Xiu, I'll just go straight. The matter of the Xiu Clan with the Ci Clan, I already know about it. The third prince has also found out, now that your son has returned, I guess the life of the Xiu Clan will be able to return to its original state."

"So you're the third prince?" Patriarch Xiu slightly narrowed his eyes as he spoke.

Zhou Fan shook his head. "I'm not the third prince, but there's a connection to him."

Patriarch Xiu nodded, he no longer discussed the matter of the third prince, he was more interested in the events that befell his son.

When Patriarch Xiu asked what the people of the Ci Clan were doing, Zhou Fan could not answer, because he did not know what asana was doing. When it came, the boy was already in a fainting state.

Unknowingly the day grew night, and the moon shone brighter. The two men of different ages were swept away in the conversation, until Zhou Fan realized he had to return.

"Patriarch Xiu, it's been a very late day. Looks like I have to step down." Zhou Fan stood up after finishing the drink on the table.

Patriarch Xiu got up, he drove Zhou Fan's departure all the way to see the territory of the Xiu Clan.

Earlier, Patriarch Xiu requested that Zhou Fan spend the night at his residence, but the young man refused and insisted on leaving.

With the resignation of Patriarch Xiu witnessed the departure of Zhou Fan, the savior of his son.

While the young man and Zhou Jim who had been waiting in the distance darted back to the third author's residence.

Grunts...

Zhou Fan who heard a familiar voice from Zhou Jim's stomach chuckled amusedly.

"Looks, we should continue the banquet that was delayed."
