Chapter 38 (Jealousy)
As the matter is resolved, Bian and Lea say goodbye to the owner of the house. Because it had been willing to be Lea's halfway place for some time.
"Renata thank you for accepting my wife" said Bian.
"Yes together" replied Renata.
"Gue back first yes, thank you very much already nolongin me," said Lea while hugging his best friend.
"Just relax, you don't feel sad anymore" said Renata.
"Ah lo emang my best friend," Lea replied as she took off her embrace.
Lea and Bian start getting into the car with Fahri being their driver. The car starts to drive away from Renata's house.
"It's a shame we go back to my apartment, yes" Lea asked.
"Why indeed?" Bian frowned in astonishment.
"Emh .. e. .. I miss the same apartment as me," Lea replied hesitantly.
"I just want to go home" said Bian.
Lea looked sad and pursed her lips. Bian who understood his wife's attitude immediately said, "Try to explain why you want to go back to the apartment."
"I just miss the apartment. Lagian has not been back there for a long time," he replied without looking at Bian.
"That's all?" Bian made sure and was greeted with a slow nod from Lea.
"okay! Then I don't want to accept your unreasonable reason. We're still back home," Bian said.
"But-" Leah's speech paused.
"But I want to calm myself down in the apartment first. Not ready to go home yet" he continued with his head bowed.
Soon Bian cupped his wife's face with both hands. Facing the face to his face, he said "What problem is it that makes you not want to go back to the house, dear?"
Meanwhile Lea tried to take her eyes off Bian. Not wanting to show her lying face to her husband. Repeatedly averted his eyes, but was thwarted by Bian. And now Lea's eyes only caught sight of Bian's face.
"Dear, please don't lie. Tell me what's really going on," forced Bian.
"Emh .. e. if I tell you the truth. I beg you not to be angry or blame anyone" Lea said.
"Yes, I promise you, baby" Bian said firmly.
"Tell me!" coined.
Lea paused for a moment to catch her breath before telling the truth. "So actually I didn't leave the house. Still I was told to leave," Lea said slowly.
"Tell me who told you to get out of my house!" exclaim Bian with a high tone.
"But you promised not to be angry dear," protested Lea by again pursing her lips.
Bian took a slow breath and exhaled violently. He wanted to be angry, but he promised Leah. He finally tried to calm himself down first.
"Please tell me who told you to leave my house?" bian asked that this time was a little soft.
"Emh .. e .. mami ... Olivya .. and Gigi" Gigi said nervously.
"But you promised not to be angry with anyone" he added quickly.
Bian was silent restraining the emotions within him. He wanted to immediately channel his emotions to people who had hurt his wife. However, he was arrested by his wife. And he tried his hardest not to get emotional. "Well, I won't be angry. But please keep coming back to my house" said Bian.
Lea was confused and did not immediately answer Bian's request. To be honest he was still very traumatized by the incident that happened to him the other day. Lea is not ready to return to the house with bad memories when she was alone in the house without Bian by her side. "I'm not ready, baby" said Lea.
"Give me time" he added.
"All right, let me give you some time to calm down. And we're temporarily staying in your apartment" Bian said, greeted by a hug from Lea.
