LIKE A DANDELIONS (Revision Process)
CHAPTER 39: MESSED UP

After lunch break, Devan rushes to the cafe where Larissa works. He could not wait to meet the woman and let his heart melt. The silver fancy watch he put in his suit pocket, he was sure Larissa would definitely love this gift.

Arriving at the cafe, Devan was surprised to learn that Larissa was no longer working at the place.

“HOLE!” devan snapped at one of the male servants.

“S-I'm not lying Sir, Larissa just resigned this morning.” Sweat poured from the butler's temple, he looked terrified as he faced Devan.

“YOU MUST HAVE TREATED HIM BADLY, RIGHT? IT'S IMPOSSIBLE FOR HIM TO JUST STOP.”

“No Sir,” a woman in her thirties approached them both.

“Who are you?” ask Devan.

“I am the owner of this cafe. Miss Larissa resigns because asked by her husband.”

Devan clenched his palms, the man's anger intensified when he found out that Larissa had quit her job because of orders from her husband.

Devan takes out a check and writes a pretty big nominal. “This, let's just say this is my compensation for having made a fuss.” The man put his check on the table and left.

She gets into the car and berates Larissa's husband with a lot of swearing.

‘Basic devil bullies! Who the fuck are you? I told Larissa to stop from the cafe. How much do you earn? How much money can you give him? You dick! Fuck those! Just look I'll find out about you and teach you a lesson.’

...... ...

Larissa sat on the sofa staring at the ornamental fish she placed into a medium-sized glass aquarium. He was very bored and wanted to go back to work at the cafe.

‘What was their relationship really so bad? I'm still wondering what Adam's been through until it's that hateful. Should I just tell Livia all this? Maybe he can help me find out.’

Rissa took her phone and called Livia.

It just so happened that his best friend was at break time, so he could pick up the phone directly from Larissa.

“Hallo Ris, what's up?” Livy.

“You again why that?” Rissa.

“This is again lunch in the room.” Livy.

“Who is there?” Rissa.

“I doang myself, why?” Livy.

“I want to tell you a little bit.” Rissa.

“What's the problem?” Livy.

“Adam will tell me to stop from the cafe, well all because Devan same Alex.” Rissa.

“Well, how is it? Do they know each other?” Livy.

“Si ART I told Adam, he said he saw me again eating the same guys in your house.” Rissa.

“Ngapain he cuddle? Fuck very.” Livy.

“That's Adam so it's on me. Who are those two guys? And I said if they're called Devan and Alex.” Rissa.

“Terus?” Livy.

“And it turns out they are mortal enemies in High School. Well, Adam did not want me to know let alone familiar with both of them. Said they were both not good.” Rissa.

“Masa anyway? I think they are good.” Livy.

“Meanwhile I want to ask you for help, please find out about their past. But you never tell me my husband is Adam, okay?” Rissa.

“Why can't they know?” Livy.

“Yes on purpose, let them be honest. The point is you ask them questions about the stories in High School, and others.” Rissa.

“Okay, I'm going to find out.” Livy.

“Sipp, thanks yes earlier.” Rissa.

“Yes already, I closed yes. It's about to finish its break.” Livy.

“Okee.” Rissa.

Tuuut

Livia hung up on me.

‘Hopefully Livi can quickly find the answer. I was really curious about what happened between them.’

...... ...

In Livia's office.

Livia called Adam, and a minute later Adam picked up the phone from him.

“Hallo Adam, go straight. I'd like to ask you something.” Livy.

“Ask what? Cepet yes, briefly again I have to meet.” Adam.

“Larissa story to me, she said you told her to quit the cafe. I automatically asked dong, why suddenly told to stop like that? Well the Rissa replied, he said because Alex was with Devan. Rissa didn't say much, just that. But is it natural that I'm curious? Try to tell me the same story!” Livy.

“Can't Liv.” Adam.

“You know what I am like? If you think this is a secret, I will keep it. It's even good if I know, right? I can make them never see you again and stay away from Larissa.” Livy.

“But promise yes don't story anything to Rissa.” Adam.

“Iya, so why?” Livy.

“They're both assholes, let alone Devan. I have known them for a long time, and automatically memorized the same attitude they both.” Adam.

“Keep, what does that have to do with Rissa? It's your problem with them. Should I ask Rissa to stop working?” Livy.

“Devan is the father of Aiden, Liv.” Adam.

“HAH?!” Livy.

“Those who kidnapped and raped Larissa six years ago. I've known this for a long time, Liv, but I'm a secret. Rissa doesn't know their faces, but they do know Rissa's. Think logic, why is Devan deketin again Rissa? Deketin the girl he once raped.” Adam.

“I don't know what else to say, Dam.” Livy.

“I close the phone, the meeting is about to start.” Adam.

Adam hung up on that phone.

Livia's body trembled as she learned the true facts. The man she likes is one of her best friend's kidnappers. He didn't think Alex and Devan were such jerks.

‘What Adam said earlier. Rissa does not know the face of her captor, while her captors know the face of Rissa. Rissa wants to be nice to Devan because she doesn't know who the guy really is, but Devan is nice to Rissa and Aiden? Does Devan know that Aiden is his son? Suspicious, I need to find out more. Don't let anything bad happen to Larissa and Aiden who are already happy.’

Tokk-

Tokk-

Tokk-

“Log in!” livia's Order.

Klaak

Alex enters the room.

“I was going to take you to lunch, but instead there was a sudden affair.” Alex stood next to Livia.

“It's okay.” Livi pretends to be friendly.

“Oh yes, you have not worked at the cafe again?” ask Alex.

Livia nodded. “He stopped this morning.”

“Kok suddenly?”

“I don't know either. Oh yeah, you know if he stops?”

“Tadi Devan to the cafe, keep saying the waiter there your friend has stopped.”

“Kok his servant told you about that? It can't be sudden, right? Mr Devan nyariin Larissa?”

“Emmm may be yes.”

“Ngapain Pak Devan nyariin him? Though there are many other servants.”

“Don't know too.”

Livia squinted both eyes. “Don't Mr Devan like Rissa?”

“Emmm may be yes.”

“But Mr. Devan knows that Rissa is married and has one child.”

“Ah I don't know.” Alex seemed at a loss for words.

Livia bit her lower lip, right now her brain is thinking hard. Don't let him misstep and even make Alex suspicious.

‘I have to make this man trust me. He must know a lot about Devan, and what's the reason Devan approached Rissa again.’
