Love Ameena

Love Ameena
Charges of Cheating

Ameena looks surprised when she is chased by two young men who seem very angry at her even though Ameena feels nothing to do to both of them until she accidentally meets Travis and the man help Ameena solve her problems with the two young strangers who have been chasing her since. Travis is seen talking to the two young men and Ameena is only watching the three speak from a distance for fear that the two are doing something bad to her if she dares to approach. After talking to Travis, the two young men left this place but before they left it was still looking at Ameena with a look of hate.

“It's done.”

“Thank you very much, Travis.”

“No problem Ameena, where are you going?”

“I want to go to the supermarket to shop.”

“Then let me drop off.”

“No need, I can do it myself.”

“Absolutely you are not afraid of getting an attack like that?”

Ameena fell silent and then allowed Travis to come with her but he asked the man not to be close to her to make Travis wonder why Ameena was so afraid to get close to men.

“I am not afraid of being close to a man just that I am married and it is not fitting that a married woman be close to another man who is not her husband.”

“My friends are many women and they are mediocre adjacent to a man who is not her husband, you really are very different like the middle eastern women in this city he said you are not

middle east woman.”

Ameena knows where Travis is going, Ameena explained that in her belief that married women should not be close to men who are not her siblings or her husband in order to keep herself from non-existent slander and she also explained that the teachings of the this religion is not just in the middle east but the whole world.

“Then that includes me who can't touch you?”

“Yes, we don't have blood ties or you're not my husband so can't touch me.”

On the way home from the supermarket, Travis told Ameena that middle-eastern immigrants often cause trouble in the city and make local people antipathy towards foreigners especially if they use hijab or burka, people's gazes will be instantly different on those who wear them. Ameena has felt it several times when she walked around the apartment or in the supermarket she often became the center of view of the people, people, there are only those who see but there are also those who call it foreign immigrants and should return to their country. Ameena did not know what they were saying until Travis translated it which made Ameena surprised because the anti-foreigner sentiment was quite high here.

“They had experienced bad things from Muslims when they were leaving school suddenly they were attacked by a group of foreign immigrants who seized their bicycles, not only was one of the teenagers his parents had a store and there were immigrants who stole goods in the store to make the parents of the teenager lose.

“So apparently.”

“I hope you are not one of them, Ameena.”

“I'm not like that, thanks for sharing with me, Travis.”

Ameena and Travis split up in front of Ameena's apartment unit as Travis' apartment unit was still steps away from Ameena's apartment unit.

Ameena had just performed the Maghrib prayer service when Hanif arrived at the apartment, he immediately cleaned his prayer equipment before leaving the room and welcomed Hanif who had just returned from work. Hanif's expression when looking at her made Ameena confused because it seemed like Hanif was currently angry with her.

“Mas, what's looking at me like this?”

“Tell me, you're having an affair right?”

“Yes Allah, Mas, why do you still accuse me of cheating anyway?”

“That's our neighbor apartment unit Mas, she lives in unit 1520, we met on a plane from Dubai to here.”

“Do you think I'll believe what you say?”

Ameena knew that Hanif would definitely say that, she could only sigh to be patient as surely Hanif would not be willing to listen to what he explained.

“If Mas doesn't believe, let's meet him,” Ameena said.

Finally Ameena takes Hanif to Travis' apartment unit, Ameena presses the doorbell of Travis' apartment unit until a while later the man opens the door for Ameena and is shocked to find

Ameena did not come alone but with her husband.

“Travis, my husband wants to ask you something.”
